OBJECTIVE To cut down the occurring rate of the hospital infections in the neonate ward. METHODS To summarize the experiences and to approach the methods for the infection control and the nursing management for hospital infections in neonate ward in last ten years(1995-2004). RESULTS Thermostats,blue-ray boxes,resuscitators,respirator tubes and some other devices which usually applying in neonate ward were easily lead to the hospital infections. CONCLUSIONS The nursing department plays an important role in controlling the hospital infections,and the head nurse is the key to the question,and all the members mobilization is the guarantee for putting the measures into effect.

Objective:To investigate the therapeutic effect of stroke patients received rehabilitation treatment at different medical units in the Rehabilitation Medical Association.Method:Totally 183 stroke patients were recruited from October 12,2012 to February 5,2016 by Shenzhen Rehabilitation Medical Association(SRMA).SRMA consists of 4 members,including the Second People's Hospital of Shenzhen,Shenzhen Nan'ao People's Hospital,Shenzhen Baoxing Hospital and Community Healthcare Center in Futian District,which belong to tertiary hospital,secondary hospital,and primary healthcare unit,respectively.According to the time of onset of stroke,all the patients were divided into recovery phase or sequelae phase.The rehabilitation facilities were standardized.All patients received rehabilitation treatment for 4 weeks,which included functional rehabilitation training of limb,functional electrical stimulation training,activities of daily living training.Fugl-Meyer Assessment(FMA),balance subscale of the Fugl-Meyer test(FMB),National Institute of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS) and modified Barthel Index(MBI) before and after rehabilitation treatment were used to evaluate the effects.Result:The scores of FMA,FMB,NIHSS and MBI were significantly improved in all the groups after rehabilitation treatment(P ＜ 0.05).There was no significant difference in all assessments among the groups(P＞ 0.05).Conclusion:Based on the standardized rehabilitation treatment programs,the stroke patients come from the members of Rehabilitation Medical Association can achieve homogeneous effects after rehabilitation treatment.

Different maternal positions and movement are utilized gradually in clinic while today it appears that the majority of women in the world birth in supine position or lithotomy position. To know the current situation and progress of the studies concerning different maternal positions and movement during labour and to explore the current relevant problems in clinic. The search strategy was designed to identify the relevant literature. The search was limited to the last 20 years as current literature was sought. Thirty eight papers were identified as relevant and included in this literature review. The majority studies is concerning about the outcome of mother and fetus. There is no unitized clinical pathway currently, and the objects implemented are limited. There is no study related to the requirement of implementing different maternal positions and movement during labor in clinic and the effect of pelvic floor function after parturition. The positive effect of implementing different maternal positions and movement during labor can be sure for the process of parturition and the outcome of mother and baby. Childbirth in different maternal positions and movement is the trend in the future. Therefore, how to utilize different maternal positions and movement during labor well, it is still a huge challenge for medical staff. And more convincing studies and information are needed as evidence in clinic.

Objective To investigate the value of RDW for predicting death risk in the patients with acute pancreatitis (AP) and its correlation with the Ret parameters.Methods A total of 164 patients with AP in the emergency surgery of Second Xiangya Hospital of Central South University from March 2015 to May 2015 were selected ,including 151 survival cases and 13 death cases , and other 175 healthy people were selected as the control group.The venous blood was collected for detecting whole blood RDW and Ret parameters by using the Sysmex XN-1000 automatic blood analyzer.The inter-group comparison was performed by Mann-Whitney U and Kruskal-Wallis H tests ;the diagnostic value of RDW for AP death risk was evaluated by receiver operating charac-teristic(ROC) curve and area under curve(AUC).Results The RDW level in the AP death group was[15.7% (14.1% -21.8% )] , which was significantly higher than that of AP survive group [13.3% (12.7% -14.5% )] ,the difference was statistically significant (Z=40.02 ,P<0.05);AUC of RDW ROC curve for diagnosing death risk was 0.835(95% CI:0.786-0.951);With the cutoff val-ue of RDW for diagnosing the AP death risk as ≥14.5% ,the sensitivity was 71.43% (95% CI:41.90% -91.60% )and specificity was 89.40% (95% CI:83.40% -93.80% );the RDW level of AP patients was positively correlated with Ret% ,IFR ,MFR and HFR(r=0.376 ,0.502 ,0.468 ,0.475 ,P<0.01) ,and was negatively correlated with LFR (r= -0.502 ,P<0.01).Conclusion The RDW level is a good indicator for early predicting AP death risk ,its elevated degree is closely correlated with Ret generation.

Objective:To develop the evaluation index system for clinical teaching quality supervision of nursing undergraduates.Methods:Based on the theory of Donabedian's structure-process-outcome quality model, literature review, semi-structured interviews, Delphi method and Analytic Hierarchy Process were adopted to determine the teaching quality supervision index system for clinical nursing interns.Results:After two rounds of expert consultation, questionnaire response rates were 92.86%(26/28), 100.00%(26/26); expert authority coefficients were 0.871, 0.887 and the two rounds of expert consultation authority coefficient was 0.879; coefficients of variation ranged from 0.00 to 0.15 and 0.04 to 0.12; coordination coefficients ranged from 0.256 to 0.667 and 0.402 to 0.804 ( χ2 values were 60.276-427.571, P<0.01). The final index system consisted of 3 first-level indicators, 9 second-level indicators, and 36 third-level indicators. The analytic hierarchy process was used to determine the weights of all indexes, and the consistency test (CR<0.1) was performed. Conclusions:The construction of the index system for clinical teaching quality supervision of nursing undergraduates is scientific with reasonable weight. It can provide reference for the improvement and reform of clinical nursing teaching work.

Objective To investigate postpartum family visits to the parturients in communities.Method Eighty six post-natal parturient women took part in the investigation by using a self-designed questionnaire.Results 57.0%of them received one postpartum visit and the visit time ranged between 15~30 min.72.1%of visits were about check of the wounds and lochia;23.3%of visitors were from milk companies.74.4%of mothers thought that the visitors lacked of professional knowledge.47.7%of them thought the visits lacked of professional content.24.4%of them thought that the visits were not in time.Conclusion Enriching the knowledge of postpartum care,updating visitors' knowledge,enriching the contents of health care and standardizing visit management are of importance for the increase of visits.

Background and purpose:It has been reported that gap junctional (GJ) function was signiifcantly decreased in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) tissues and cell lines. However, the increased GJ suppress tumorigenesis and the development of liver cancer. This study therefore aimed to examine the effect of simvastatin on GJ function between Hep3b cells. Thus, the exploition of drugs to increase GJ function between liver cancer cells will provide an efifcient approach to ifght against liver tumor as well as increase cytotoxicity of antitumor agents.Methods:SRB was used to assay the toxicity of simvastatin. The effect of simvastatin on GJ function was determined by “Parachute” dye-coupling assay and scrape loading/dye transfer assay.Results:Pretreated Hep3b cells with simvastatin at the concentration of 1, 5 or 10 μmol/L for 24 h did not induce the cytotoxicity. So simvastatin at the concentration of 5 and 10 μmol/L would not reduce the amount of GJ on cell membranes. “Parachute” dye-coupling assay showed that the treatment with 5 and 10 μmol/L simvastatin for 4 h enhanced the dye spread through GJ in Hep3b cells. Similarly, scrape loading/dye transfer assay showed that simvastatin could induce the increasing spread of lucifer yellow (Ly, Sigma) around the scoifng cells with increasing concentrations.Conclusion:Simvastatin could increase the GJ function of Hep3b cells.

AimThe effect of herbal tongxinluo on the thrombus formation and neointimal hyperplasia of the balloon injured rabbit abdominal aorta and iliac artery was observed. Methods36 New zealand rabbits were divided randomly into 3 groups: tongxinluo group(16 rabbits); aspirin group(11 rabbits) and control group(9 rabbits). The rabbits were treated with herb tongxinluo 0.38g·kg-1 · d-1, aspirin 50mg·kg-1 · d -1 and 0.09% natrium chloride 10 ml · d-1 alternatively. The arterial injury model was made 1 week after taking the medicine and the injured segments were taken at 24 hours,1 week or 1 month after the procedure, then the samples were stained by hematoxylin and eosin. The thrombus formation and the neointimal hyperplasia of the injured arteries were observed under microscope. Results The arterial neointimal hyperplasia was seen in both abdominal aorta and iliac artery 24 hours and 7 days after the balloon injury in each group,which led to stenosis in 5%～40% of the arterial lumen, the neointimal hyperplasia was much more significant in 2 rabbits 1 month after the balloon injury. The ratio of the arteries with thrombosis in aspirin group was less than that in the other 2 groups, but the difference was not significant. The ratio of neointimal hyperplasia in tongxinluo group was significantly less than that in aspirin and control groups. Conclusion The balloon injured rabbit abdominal aorta and iliac artery appeare to be an ideal model in researching restenosis after percutaneous transluminar coronary angioplasty(PTCA) . Herbal Tongxinluo significantly inhibit the neointimal hyperplasia of the balloon injured rabbit peripheral arteries, which indicate that herbal Tongxinluo might be a promising medicine in preventing restenosis.

Objective To observe the preventing effect of optimal programs (improving turn over postures and elongating the turn over intervals)in preventing pressure sore occurrence in patients with acute stroke. Methods Acute stage stroke patients (time from on-set less than or equal to one week)were selected and divided randomly into 4 groups, one group adopted 2.0 hours turn over intervals as the routine group, others adopted 2.5 hours, 3.0 hours, 3.5 hours turn over intervals as the study groups. The incidence of pressure sores and complications were recorded. Results None of the groups (2.0 h, 2.5 h,3.0 h, 3.5 h)suffered from pressure sores. The incidence of complications including malnutrition, pulmonary infections and constipations was not increased in the study groups either. Conclusions Optimal turn over nursing programs including elongating turn over intervals to 2.5h, 3.0h, 3.5h and adopting 30 degree lateral posture can effectively prevent occurrence of pressure sores in acute stroke patients.

OBJECTIVE To find the active principle in Radix Scutellariae,Radix Sophorae Flavescentis and Flos Lonicerae in Gansu inhibiting yeast-like fungi of deep infection.METHODS Radix Scutellariae,Radix Sophorae Flavescentis and Flos Lonicerae were separately cleaned,toasted and grinded to fine power.Five kinds of(8 strains) yeast-like fungi that were collected and spread into 90mm Sabouraud plate.On aseptic condition,bored holes on Sabouraud plate with the drilling instrument of 6mm diameter,and filled every holes with 25.73mg fine powder of Radix Scutellariae,Radix Sophorae Flavescentis and Flos Lonicerae,and added 3 to 5 drops of distilled water in the medicinal powder.Under 35℃,the bacteria were cultured for 24 to 48 hours,and the size of bacteriostatic ring was observed.RESULTS The diameters of the bacteriostatic ring of Radix Scutellariae powder inhibiting five kinds of yeast-like fungi were separately 16.0mm,13.5mm,13.0mm,13.0mm and 10.5mm,respectively,and the diameter of Radix Sophorae Flavescentis and Flos Lonicerae powder was 0.CONCLUSIONS There is the active principle inhibiting yeast-like fungi in Radix Scutellariae,but not that in Radix Sophorae Flavescentis and Flos Lonicerae.
