Objective:To study the chemical constituents in the root of Petasites tricholobus Franch.and evaluate their anti-inflammatory activity.Methods: The primary extraction was done with 95% ethanol and subsequently with other agents including ethyl acetate.The compounds extracted with ethyl acetate were isolated by silica gel column chromatography and purified by means of recrystallization.The structures of the compounds were elucidated by employing chemical and spectral methods.The anti-inflammatory activities of the compounds were evaluated through their inhibitory effect on the trachea contraction of guinea pig induced by histamine in vitro.Results: Six compounds were isolated from the root of Petasites tricholobus Franch.,namely,homofukinolide(1),bakkenolide-B(2),stigmasterol(3),and ?-sitosterol(4),bakkenolide-D(5),and ?-sitosterol-3-O-?-D-glucopyranoside(6).Bakkenolide-B and bakkenolide-D demonstrated inhibitory effect on the trachea contraction induced by histamine in vitro.Conclusion: Homofukinolide,?-sitosterol,and ?-sitosterol3-O-?-D-glucopyranoside are isolated for the first time from Petasites tricholobus Franch..Bakkenolide-B and-D have obvious anti-histamine activities.

Objective To observe clinical effect of self-made xiaozhongsanjie decoction combined with levothyroxine sodium tablets in treatment of thyroid nodule.Methods From July 2013 to July 2014, 52 cases of thyroid nodule patients were randomly divided into two groups: control group( n=25)and study group(n=27).The control group were received levothyroxine sodium tablets, while the study group were given self-made xiaozhongsanjie decoction on the basis of control group.Both groups were treated for 24 weeks.The changes of thyroid stimulating hormone ( TSH ) , serum free triiodothyronine (FT3), serum free tetraiodothyronine (FT4) levels, and the thyroid nodule size of two groups before and after treatment were recorded and compared.ResuIts After 24 weeks’ treatment, the thyroid nodule size of both groups reduced, and the descending range of study group was much larger than that of control group (P<0.05).The TSH levels of both groups descended, and the descending range of study group was much larger than control group (P<0.05).While the FT4 levels all increased in both groups, and the ascending range of study group was much larger than control group (P<0.05).And the total effective rate of study group was 77.78%, which was significantly higher than control group (48.00%, P<0.05). ConcIusion The therapy of self-made xiaozhongsanjie decoction combined with levothyroxine sodium tablets in treatment of thyroid nodule could control or reduce the thyroid nodule size effectively.

OBJECTIVE:To establish HPLC fingerprint sectrum of Rhaponticum uniflorum. METHODS:HPLC was performed on the column of Hypersil-ODS with mobile phase of 0.3% phosphoric acid-acetonitrile(gradient elution) at flow rate of 1.0 ml/min,detection wavelength was 220 nm,column temperature was 30 ℃ and volume injection was 10 μl. The luteolin was refer-ence,17 batches of R. uniflorum from different production places was analyzed and similarity evaluation system for chromatograph-ic fingerprint of TCM (2004 A edition)was adopted for the similarity analysis. RESULTS:There were totally 11 common peaks with similarity degree≥0.900 of 17 batches. According to the verification,the fingerprint spectrum and reference fingerprint spec-trum of R. uniflorum had good consistency. CONCLUSIONS:The established method is specific and stable,and can provide refer-ence for the identification and quality control of R. uniflorum.

Objective To summarize the nursing experience in patients with CT-assisted thoracoscopic surgery for small indeterminate pulmonary nodules.Method The data of 26 patients having undergone CT-assisted thoracoscopic surgery for small indeterminate pulmonary nodules were analyzed retrospectively for summarizing the nursing experience.Result The CT-assisted locations of nodules and the thoracoscopic resection of the pulmonary nodules in all the patients were successfully performed,without pneumatothorax,haematothorax and pneumorrhagia.Conclusion Such measures as setting the right time for locating,enhanced management of body position,accurate and safe punctuation and well performance of surgical cooperation are all critical for the success of the resection.

OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for simultaneous determination of luteolin and apigenin in Mongolian medicine Scabiosa atropurea. METHODS:HPLC was performed on the column of Diamond C18 with mobile phase of acetonitrile-0.4%phos-phoric acid(34∶66,V/V)at a flow rate of 1.0 ml/min,the detection wavelength was 350 nm,column temperature was 30 ℃,and the injection volume was 10 μl. RESULTS:The linear range was 66-396 ng for luteolin(r=0.999 8)and 93-558 ng for apigenin (r=0.999 6);RSDs of precision,stability and reproducibility tests were lower than 2%;recoveries were 98.15%-101.79%(RSD=1.42%,n=6) and 98.66%-104.05%(RSD=1.81%,n=6),respectively. CONCLUSIONS:The method is simple with good precise,stability and reproducibility,and can be used for the simultaneous determination of luteolin and apigenin in Mongo-lian medicine S. atropurea.

Objective To study the clinical features and treatment of unilateral multicentric breast cancer.Methods The clinical data of 14 cases of unilateral multicentric breast cancer,which were found from July,2004 to December,2007 were analyzed retrospectively.ResultsSix cases(42.9%) had infiltrating lobular carcinoma,and the other 8 cases(57.1%) were invasive ductal carcinoma.The number of cancer focus was 2 to 9,and with a diameter of 0.5-4.3 cm.The focus in 12 cases were located in upper lateral quadrant;1 case was located in the upper medial and lateral quadrant;1 case was located in the upper lateral quadrants,the junction area of upper medial and upper lateral quadrants,and between upper lateral quadrant and lower lateral quadrants.One patient was treated by breast conservation operation,with no recurrence at 3-5 years follow-up;while the other 13 cases received modified radical operation,and with no recurrence at 2-37 months of follow-up.ConclusionsUnilateral multicentric breast cancer are often distributed in the same quadrant or adjacent quadrants of breast,and the majority cases are with invasive ductal carcinoma.For treatment of these lesions were a modified radical operation combine with comprehensive treatment.

Objective Exploring in processing method to triage of women with a cytologic smear showing atypical squamous cells of undetermined significance. Methods All 130 cases were diagnosed with ASCUS received high-risk HPV (hr-HPV)test, colposcopic inspections, reformeded Reid's colposcopic index score and cervical biopsies for pathological examination. Resluts The pathology of 130 ASCUS patients included 31cases of normal and inflammation (23.90%), 29 cases of CINⅠ(22.30%), 14 cases of CINⅡ(10.80%), 55 cases of CINⅢ or cervical carcinoma in situ (42.30%), and 1 case of invasive cervical carcinoma (0.80%). The reformed Reid's colposcopic index score of 130 ASCUS patients included 32 cases of 0 score (24.60%), 36 cases of 1~2 scores (27.70%), 47 cases of 3~4 scores(36.10%), 15 cases of 5~6 scores(11.60%). 2. The colposcopy used to detect the CIN of ASCUS, its sensitivity was 98.99%(98/99), specificity was 51.61%(16/31). The hr-HPV used to detect the CIN of ASCUS, its sensitivity was 96.97%(96/99), specificity was 32.26%(10/31). Conclusion Both the reformeded Reid′s colposcopic index score and hr-HPV testing as the clinical triage methods of ASCUS. The former has good sensitivity and specificity ,which is superior to hr-HPV testing.

Objective: To evaluate the cytotoxicity and targeting ability of self-developed paclitaxel-octreotide (PTX-OCT) conjugates on A549 non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cells and Calu-6 NSCLC cells. Methods: Conjugates PTX-OCT and 2PTX-OCT were synthesized by our school. Reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction was used to detect mRNA of human somatostatin receptor subtypes (SSTRs) using specific primers. The cells were treated with different concentrations (1, 100 nmol/L and 1 ?mol/L) of paclitaxel and the conjugates for different time periods (24-72 h); we also set up a control group. MTT assay was used to evaluate the cell viability after treatment; cell cycle perturbations were determined by FAC Scan flow cytometer 24 h after treatment with 1 ?mol/L paclitaxel, PTX-OCT, and 2PTX-OCT. Results: Both A549 cell and Calu-6 cell expressed the mRNA of SSTR2 and SSTR5; no SSTR mRNA was detected in the fibroblasts. The conjugates had a similar cytotoxicity to paclitaxel; they both effectively inhibited the growth of A549 cells and Calu-6 cells in a concentration-and time-dependent manner. After 72 h treatment with 1 ?mol/L paclitaxel, PTX-OCT and 2PTX-OCT, the survival rates of A549 cells were (26.9?7.3)%, (26.6?9.2)% and (35.7?4.3)%, respectively; the survival rates of Calu-6 cells were (29.5?5.0)%, (28.2?9.7)% and (26.5?4.9)%, respectively. Objective We aim to objectively evaluate the influence of six-character formula on patients with stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).Methods The randomized controlled trials (RCTs) which investigated the influence of six-character formula on patients with COPD were electronically searched in the databases such as China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI),Chinese Science Technology Periodical Databases (VIP),Wanfang Data,PubMed,The Cochrane Library (Issue 6,2014) and ELSEVIER.According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,the references was screened,the data were extracted and the methodological quality of the included articles was assessed.Then,Meta-analy-sis was performed using RevMan 5.3 software.Results A total of 10 studies involved,578 patients were included.The result of Meta-analysis showed that compared with the control group,six-character formula significantly improved six-minute walk distance,forced expiratory volume in a second (FEV1) and FEV1 predicted value,reduced the score of activity limitation and the impact of the disease in St George's respiratory questionnaire (SGRQ).the value of MD and 95％CI were 22.62 (10.49-34.75),0.10 (0.01-0.18),3.08 (0.18-5.97),8.69 (4.09-13.83),7.60 (2.34-12.85).However,there was no statistical difference in the score of symptom.Conclusions Six-character formula plays a significant role in the treatment of stable COPD.However,more studies in large scale and high quality are needed to verify the result.
