Objective To evaluate the change of left ventricular(LV) function by real-time three dimensional echocardiography(RT-3DE) and to explore the clinical value of change of serum adiponectin level in patients with metabolic syndrome (MS).Methods One hundred and twenty patients were divided into MS group and control group according to the diagnostic standard of the nternational Diabetes Federation.Transthorasic 2D ultrasound and RT-3DE examination were performed in all study objects, and serum adiponectin levels were measured.Results Parameter index [including Tmsv16-SD, Tmsv12-SD,Tmsv16- Dif, Tmsv12-Dif, Tmsv16-SD (％), Tmsv 12-SD (％), Tmsv16-Dif (％), Tmsv12-Dif (％)] of 17segment time to minimal systolic volume in MS group was more than that in control group (all P ＜0.05).Some regional systolic index of LV and serum adiponectin level were less than that in control group (all P ＜0.05).Compared with the control group, E/E' was lower (P ＜ 0.05).There were significant relations between serum adiponectin level and E/A of mitral valves, E'/A' of mitral annulus and E/E'(r = 0.368,0.493,and -0.347 respectively, P ＜0.05).Conclusions RT-3DE can rapidly evaluate LV systolic and diastolic synchrony in MS patients.E/E' show an excellent correlation with serum adiponectin level,and it may be a new promising method for routine evaluation of LV diastolic function.

s: The horse mushroom (Agaricus arvensis Schaeff ex Fr.) is one of most excellent edible mushroom,and was cultivated in world at resent year.But up to now,the breeding systems and life-cycle of horse mushroom has been poorly know.In this study,the random amplified polymorphic DNA was employed to analyse the mating reaction between self-fertile homokaryonic isolates by paired.The results demonstrated: (1) the mating reaction happened and the heterokaryonic offspring formed when the intercompatible self-fertile homokaryonic isolates were paired;(2) perhaps the horse mushroom is possessed of double breeding systems-homothallism and heterothallism;(3) RAPD is very effective method for verifying artificially synthesized heterokaryons and monitoring the transmission of genetic loci in mating of fungi.

CONCLU-SIONS:Foreign aid relief teams can foresee the quantity and type of rescue drugs depending on station sanitary conditions,medica-tion habits,the characteristics of patients to guarantee the medical detachment work and avoid medical resources waste.

Objective To study the relationship between tyrosine phosphorylation(TP)and protein expression of insulin receptor substrate-1(IRS-1)and insulin resistance in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM).Methods IRS-1 expression and TP in skeleton muscle tissue were determined by Western blot and immunoprecipitation in women with GDM(GDM group,n=22),normal pregnant women(normal pregnancy group,n=22)and normal nonpregnant women(normal nonpregnant group,n=13).Fasting plasma glucose(FPG)and fasting insulin(FINS)were measured by oxidase assay and immunoradioassay. Objective To establish a HPLC-ELSD method for determining the content of astragaloside Ⅳ in Qingshen Jianfei Tablets. Methods Stationary phase was C_(18) column (4.6 mm?250 mm, 5 ?m), mobile phase was acetonitrice-water (35 : 65). The evaporation temperature was 120 ℃, the pulverization temperatire was 80 ℃, the flow rate was 1.6 mL/min and column temperature was 35 ℃. Results The standard curve was linear within the range of 1.03～8.24 ?g, r=0.9999. The average recovery was 99.35% with RSD = 1.36% (n = 6). Conclusion The established method is simple and accurate, with good reproducibility and high precision, and suitable for the determination of astragaloside Ⅳ in Qingshen Jianfei Tablets.
