Objective To investigate the morphologic abnormalities of myenteric plexus in diabetic rats and to explore the mechanism of its effect on gastrointestinal motility.Methods Thirty rats were randomly divided into diabetic group and control group.Gastrointestinal transit time was measured and histologic changes of cholinergic and nitriergic nerves in ileum myenteric plexus were observed with enzy- matic histochemistry.Results Four months after the establishment of the diabetic rats model,gastroin- testinal transit time was found delayed comparing with control group,the density of cholinergic neurons in the ileum myenteric plexus was decreased (P＜0.01) and the densities of nitriergic ganglions and neurons were significantly increased comparing with control group (P＜0.05 and P＜0.01).Conclu- sion Decrease of cholinergic nerves and increase of nitriergic nerves in the myenteric plexus of intestine is one of the mechanisms of delay gastrointestinal transit time in diabetic rats.

Objective To study the protective effect of redix astragail on intestinal mucosa barrier in infant rabbits with intestinal ischemiareperfusion.Methods Twenty male infant rabbits were divided into 4 groups randomly:sham control group,intestinal ischemia reperfusion(IIR) group(model group),redix astragail group,control group.Redix astragail group and control group intraperitonerlly injected redix astragail 6 mg/(kg?d)or sodium chloride preoperative.Intestinal mucosa and blood plasma superoxide dismutase(SOD) activity,intestinal mucosa tissue degree of injury were observed in infant rabbits with IIR.Meanwhile,the effect of redix astragail on them was studied.Results After IIR,SOD activity in intestinal mucosa and blood plasma obviously decreased,and intestinal mucosa tissue morphous and intestinal mucosa barrier lesion were progressively aggravated.Redix astragail might increase blood plasma and intestinal tissue SDD activity significantly.Conclusion Redix astragail plays an important role in protecting intestinal mucosa barrier in infant rabbits with IIR.

Objective To dynamically observe changes of IgG, its subclasses and IgE in sera of mice by immunization with mixed recombinant of BCG-Em Ⅱ/3 and BCG-Em14-3-3 vaccine of Echinococcus multilocularis (Era). Methods Forty Balb/c mice of 12-14 week old and 20-25 g weight were intranasally vaccinated by the vaccine, 4 mice were killed randomly by the weight on 0,2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16 and 18 weeks of immunization respectively, sera were gathered from the eyeball to measure IgG, its subclasses and IgE by routine ELISA. Results Levels of IgG, IgG2a and IgG2b in the sera of mice increased obviously on 2-18 weeks, reached the highest level on 10, 4 and 4 weeks respectively, the value was 0.095±0.033,0.022±0.001,0.023±0.003 respectively, as compared with the value on 0 week(0.030±0.013,0.012±0.004,0.013±0.004), the difference being statistically significant(q=2.95,4.87,2.81 respectively, P < 0.01 or P < 0.05); levels of IgG1, IgG3 and IgE in the sera of mice decreased remarkably on 2-18 weeks,came to the lowest level on 4,2,6 weeks respectively, the value was 0.031±0.004,0.136±0.002,0.114±0.002 respectively, as compared with the value on 0 week(0.192±0.007, 0.175±0.013,0.024±0.003), the difference being statistically significant (q =5.16,4.93,5.32 respectively, P < 0.01 or P < 0.05). Objective To analyze the epidemiographic features of malignant tumors of urinary system in renal allograft recipients in our center.Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on 3150 patients who received renal transplantation between June 1978 and Autumn 2006.Twelve cases of urinary tumors were selected for study.Results Among 3150 recipients,33(1.05%)were diag- nosed as malignancies including 12(0.38%)cases in urinary system.The mean age of these patients when diagnosed as urinary tumors was 58.3?4.6(range 48-66).The mean duration of immunosup- pressive treatment was 62?18(range 26-120)months.Six cases received cyclosporine A+azalthio- prine+prednisone(CsA+Aza+Pred),5 cases cyclosporine A+mycophenolate mofetil+prednisone (CsA+MMF+Pred),and one case tacrolimus+mycophenolate mofetil+prednisone(FK506+MMF +Pred).Surgical treatment was carried out in 11 patients.Ten of them were still alive.One case died of cerebral hemorrhage.Conclusions Malignant tumors of urinary system,especially TCC is an im- portant complication in renal transplantation in our center.The occurrence of malignant tumors is inti- mately related to immunosuppressive treatment.The immunological status of patients after renal transplantation should be evaluated in follow-up studies.The treatment consists of complete resection of the mass,decreases of immunosuppressants,chemotherapy or radiotherapy.

Objective:To study the effect of invigorating the kidney and spleen complex prescription on deltamethrin intoxicated pregnant rats. Methods:Pregnant rats were divided into 5 groups. Except the blank group,other groups were orally fed 1/20LD50(6.93mg/kg)DM daily from day 1 to 15 when proved pregrancy. 4 Hours later,rats in model group were given physiological saline,other 3 groups were given high/ median /low dose of Zhuyun Formula. Half pregnant rats were killed on D15. The rest was kept until labour. The abortion rate,survival rate,delivery condition,the level of estradiol,progestogen were observed. Results:With respect to abortion rate,model group showed statistical signifi cance when compared with other groups. Model group also showed low progesterone level. With the treatment Zhuyun Ⅲ,it had desirable effect in decreasing abortion rate,and increasing the level of progesterone. The labour time of all groups was within the normal range. Conclusion:DM had toxicity on reproduction,it could lead to abortion which was related to endocrine function of pregnant rats. Zhuyun Ⅲ could regulate the above condition and relief DM toxicity.

Objective To investigate the efficacy and safety of low-dose prednisone combined with methotrexate (MTX) and hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis (RA).Methods In this 12-week study,150 patients with active rheumatoid arthritis were randomly divided into two groups:prednisone group (70 cases who were received prednisone 5 ～ 10 mg/d + MTX 10 mg/w +HCQ 0.2 g/d) and control group (80 cases who were treated by Meloxicam 7.5 mg/d + MTX 10 mg/w +Leflunomide (LEF) 20 mg/d).The primary end-points were tender and swollen joint counts,visual analogue scales (VAS),and global physician and patients assessments of disease.The secondary end-points were morning stiffness time,C-reactive protein,erythrocyte sedimentation rate,the Health Assessment Questionnaire (HAQ),DAS28 and ACR20,ACR50.Results After 12 weeks,in terms of primary endpoints,tender and swollen joint counts,VAS and global physician assessments in the prednisone group were improved significantly [(4.5 ± 2.5),(3.2 ± 3.36),(21 ± 15),(24.2 ± 16.4),(20.2 ± 10.4) vs (6.4 ±5.84),(6.6±5.5),(46±14),(37.9±19.7),(34.1±12.4),P ＜0.05orP ＜0.01].In terms of secondary end-points,the prednisone group produced higher response rates [HAQ score (0.93 ± 0.52),CRP(10.2 ± 5.8) mg/L,ESR(30 ± 14) mm/h,morning stiffness time (32.0 ± 32.3) min,DAS 28 score (3.1±0.9) vs (1.22 ±0.81),(16.3±10.1)mg/L,(33±29)mm/h,(54.7±45.4)min,(4.9±1.9),P ＜0.05 orP ＜0.01].The incidence of adverse events was similar between two groups (43％ vs 49％,P ＞ 0.05).Conclusions Low-dose prednisone combined with MTX and HCQ produced rapid and relevant improvements in RA signs and symptoms.

Objective To observe the effects of creatine phosphate sodium on heart function and B -type natriuretic peptide in patients combination with ischemic cardiomyopathy and intractable heart failure .Methods 70 cases of coronary heart disease combined with ischemic cardiomyopathy and intractable heart failure were randomly ( with the random number table ) divided into the control group ( n=33) and the creatine phosphate sodium treatment group (n=37).The control group treated with conventional therapy (digitalis,diuretics,vasodilator,ACEI,et al) ten days;the treatment group with creatine phosphate sodium treatment on the basis of conventional therapy .The symp-tom,sign of the heart failure patients of the two groups before and after treatment were observed .NYHA cardiac func-tional grading were estimated.Echocardiography was used to detect left ventricular end -systolic diameter(LVESD), left ventricular end diastolic diameter ( LVEDD ) and left ventricular ejection fraction ( LVEF ); amino terminal pro brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) tested by laboratory of the two groups.Drug treatment for 10 days,the chan-ges of the indicators before and after treatment were observed .Results After treatment , compared with the control group[(50.63 ±4.67) mm,(61.30 ±4.58) mm].LVESD,LVEDD of the creatine phosphate sodium treatment [(47.16 ±4.30)mm,(57.92 ±4.30)mm]significantly decreased(t=5.73,4.96,all P<0.01),LVEF[(40.57 ± 4.51)%,(37.63 ±4.53)%]increased significantly(t =5.53,P<0.01).After ten days of treatment levels of NT-proBNP decreased in both two groups [(1 659.±248.18) pg/mL,1 899.3 ±205.45] than before treatment [2 043.46 ±217.04,(2 105.46 ±239.09)pg/mL](t=3.23,3.64,all P<0.05),and the decrease degree of the creatine phosphate sodium treatment group was more obvious than those of the control group (t=4.11,P<0.05). Conclusion Creatine phosphate sodium can improve the cardiac function and left ventricular ejection fraction of ischemic cardiomyopathy and intractable heart failurepatients ,enhance the clinical symptoms of patients .
