1.Obstructive sleep apnea as an independent risk factor for stroke: possible mechanislms
International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2011;19(12):911-915
Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA),the most common type of sleep disordered breathing was closely associated with the occurrence of ischemic stroke. It has been demonstrated that OSA is an independent risk factor for ischemic stroke. Its pathogenic mechanism includes atherosclerosis, coagulation abnormalities and cerebral hemodynamic changes caused by long-term periodic hypoxia hypoxemia and hypercapnia. The prognosis of ischemic stroke patients with OSA is poor. Therefore,it needs to be treated early to avoid further damage to brain tissue and reduce the mortality.
2.The effect of Skp2 gene silencing on the proliferation and apoptosis of SPC-A-1 lung cancer cells
Chongqing Medicine 2016;45(17):2334-2336,2339
Objective To investigate the effect of Skp2 gene silencing on the proliferation and apoptosis of SPC-A-1 lung cancer cells .Methods Specific small hairpin RNA (shRNA ) targeting Skp2 gene was introduced into lung cancer cells by Lipo-fectamine 2000 and the positive clones were screened by G418 .The Skp2 mRNA and protein expression level of lung cancer cells were detected by RT-PCR and Western blot .M TT method and flow cytometry (FCM ) analysis were used to observe the effect of RNAi on proliferation of lung cancer cells .Cell apoptosis was analyzed by FCM .Results Transfected with Skp2 shRNA expression vector significantly reduced the expression of Skp2 protein in lung cancer cells .Inhibition efficiency was respectively (75 .3 ± 5 .1) , (70 .4 ± 3 .2) .P27 protein expression was increased significantly in lung cancer cells .The growth of lung cancer cells transfected with Skp2 shRNA was blocked ,with Gl phase cells increased and S phase cells decreased .The apoptosis rate of cancer cells was higher in Skp2 shRNA groups than in control groups .Apoptosis rates were (17 .5 ± 2 .8)% ,(15 .6 ± 3 .1)% in Skp2 shRNA groups .Conclusion Specific inhibition of the expression of Skp2 can slow down the growth of lung cancer cells ,increase cell apop-tosis .
3.Effect of low-dose cyclophosphamide on cell apoptosis of implanted human lung carcinoma in nude mice
Journal of Third Military Medical University 1983;0(04):-
Objective To explore the effect of low-dose cyclophosphamide(CTX)on apoptosis of implanted human lung carcinoma in nude mice. Methods BALB/c nude mice bearing lung carcinoma were randomized into several groups, each receiving different dose of CTX respectively. We investigated antitumor effect and toxicity of CTX.At the end of experiment, tumors were resected for immunohistochemical staining.Nuclear factor ?B(NF-?B P65)was detected and apoptosis was measured by TUNEL.Morphological changes of tumor cells were observed. Results The volume of tumors was much smaller in mice receiving continuous low-dose CTX than that receiving maximally tolerated dose of CTX and normal saline(control group). The apoptotic index was increased and NF-?B P65 decreased in the mice receiving low-dose of CTX.Conclusion The continuous low-dose of CTX inhibits the growth of implanted tumor and increases tumor cell apoptosis, which may be due to the down-regulation of nuclear factor ?B.
5.Evaluation of the mass-screening of the uterine cervical cancer using Kato's Self-abrasive Device in China.
Journal of the Japanese Association of Rural Medicine 1985;34(4):808-815
Using Kato's Self-abrasive Device, mass-screening for uterine cervical cancer has been carried out for 5, 983 married women at Chicheng country of a mountainous farm village and Shijiazhuang city in Hebei province, China, and the following result has obtained:
The women who diagnosed as class III and over were 42 persons (0.70%). Cancer cases which were confirmed by the biopsy were 10 (3 at Shijiazhuang city and 7 at Chicheng country); the occurrence rate of the cervical cancer was 0.17% and no false positive was observed. The mass -screening of the uterine cervical cancer has been carried out simultaneously by both way of the self-abrasive method and the scraper method for one third of persons who will take medical advice atboth districts. The result of comparative analysis for the quality of smear and the Papanicolaouclassification by the two method was;
1. As for the self-abrasive method, mixing with erythrocytes and overlapping of cells were few compared with the scraper method, and the diagnosis was more easily made in cytological examination.
2. The rate of coincidence by both methods were 78.85% in class I, 94.14% in class II, and 100.00% in class III-V.
6. Neuroprotective effect and mechanism of scutellarin ethyl ester on cerebral ischemia in vitro
Chinese Pharmaceutical Journal 2012;47(15):1212-1215
OBJECTIVE: To observe the blood-brain barrier permeability of scutellarin ethyl ester, the structural modification product of scutellarin, and to explore the mechanism of nerve protection on cerebral ischemia. METHODS: By co-culturing brain microvascular endothelial cells (BMVEC) and astrocytes cells (AC) in vitro, blood-brain barrier model was established. The active components were analyzed by HPLC. Rat cerebral cortical neurons cells were cultivated in vitro, and the survival rate was determined by MTT assay. The model of rat cortical neurons cell injury was established by glutamate and KCl, and the change of fluorescence intensity was detected by Laser Scanning Confocal Microscopy (LSCM). RESULTS: Compared with control group, scutellarin ethyl ester could penetrate BBB, promote the survival of cortex nerve cells in vitro significantly(P < 0.01), and inhibit intracellular calcium overload induced by 500 μmol · L-1 glutamate (P < 0.01). CONCLUSION: Scutellarin ethyl ester can pass through BBB and has neuroprotective effect by regulation of calcium signal pathway to resist cerebral ischemia. Chinese Journal of General Practitioners 2012;11(5):367-369
A total of 256 medical professionals at the hospitals of different levels were interviewed and requested to complete the relevant questionnaires. The findings revealed that the top five unsatisfied items were growth & development, working conditions,doctor-patient relationship, income and social status. The levels of job satisfaction varied with their specific occupations and technical titles.Around two thirds of them once had the thought of leaving their pre-hospital care posts.

Chinese Journal of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics 2002;0(05):-
The QUOROM statement means a set of quality standards of Meta analysis report. It comprises a checklist and a flowchart for reporting a Meta analysis. They are primarily used in writing, reviewing or evaluating reports of Meta analysis for simple two group, parallel RCTs. The statement is a continually evolving document. A few international medical journals have endorsed the QUOROM statement and require authors submitting manuscripts for publication to include all the information on the checklist and flowchart of QUOROM statement. Based on introducing the background, processes of forming QUOROM statement and reviewing the contents and requirements of QUOROM, we prepare this paper, hoping to improve the quality of Meta analysis report for randomized controlled clinical trials in our country. Some comments and suggestions are given at the same time.
