Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2006;0(07):-
Objective To investigate the state of glucocorticoid(GC) - induced osteoporosis (GIOP) and the current prevention of GIOP in patients with primary glomerulonephritis. Methods Primary glomerulonephritis patients receiving GC therapy were observed and bone mineral density (BMD) in the lumbar spine and the femoral neck were measured. Age, sex, body - mass - index, smoking history, the time and accumulative dose of GC treatment, and the state of osteoporosis prevention were investigated, the factors that influence the BMD were analyzed. Results A total of one hundred and twenty- three patients were included in this study. Among them, osteoporosis and os-teopenia were found in 82 patients (66.7%). Lumbar spine BMD decrease gradually with the increase of the accumulative dose of GC. There were statistical differences in the BMD of lumbar spine in patients with receving GC at the period of less than 1 month compared with other groups( 1-12 months) (P
2.A Study on the Treatment of Ketoacidosis in Diabetes Mellitus-Analysis of 100 Cases
Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University(Medical Sciences) 1981;0(03):-
Of 807 Cases of Diabetes mellitus, 100 were ketoacidosis with or with-ot coma(40 Cases among them with coma), 55 were males, 45 females. Therange of age was 5 to 76 years. There were 39 cases of ketonemia with ju-venile diabetes, and the incidence was 29. 5 per cent of 137 cases. 61 werefound to have ketonemia with adult dialetes, the incidence being 10. 2 percent of 594 cases. Blood glucose level was 166. 7 to 1000mg/dl. The mostcommon precipitating causcs of ketonemia were infection and the dis-continue of insulin treatment(58 per cent). According to the dosage of insu-lin, our patients were divided into two groups. One was a small dosagegroup(the total mean dose 25. 5 ? 3. 1 u), the other was a large dosage group(the first 8 hours' mean dose 121. 67 ? 102u, the fitst 24 hours' mean dose206. 62 ? 18. 01) There were on death and severe complications of insulintherapy in the small dosage group, but 13 (16 per cent) were died in thelarge dosage group, in which there took place such complications as hypo-kele mia(11 per cent), hypoglycemia (26 per cent) and encephaledema (3. 8per cent). Also, the negative acetone bodies occured faster in the smalldosage group. For this reason, we consider the effect of the treatment inthe small dosage group was better. Recently, we have controlled alkelidosage more strictly than before. 100-200ml of 4% Bicarbonate was givento the patient if the blood CO_2 combinedpower was lower than 20 Vol pe,
3.Clinical analysis of anomalies of female reproductive system associated with urinary system
Chinese Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology 2001;0(08):-
Objective To determine the association of anomalies of female reproductive system with that of urinary system. Methods Two hundred and eighty-nine cases, including 59 with congenital vaginal inclined septum syndrome, 135 with septate uterus, 4 with unicornuate uterus, 13 with rudimentary horn of uterus, 58 with congenital absence of the uterus and vagina, 14 with imperforated hymen, and 6 with atresia of vagina, treated during the past 4 years, were analysed retrospectively. Results Anomalies of urinary system were more frequently found in patients with anisomerous anomalies of reproductive system(85. 53% , 65/76 cases). In 59 cases of congenital vaginal inclined septum syndrome, 43 had ipsilateral renal agenesis, 2 had one single pelvic kidney, 1 had bilateral horseshoe kidneys, 1 had left-side horseshoe kidney, 1 had one pair of renal pelvis and renal calices with ureters incorporated at middle and inferior segments on both sides. Ipsilateral renal agenesis was also seen in patients with rudimentary horn of uterus(14/14 cases) and unicornuate uterus(4/4 cases). However, there was no urinary system malformation seen in septate uterus patients (0/135 cases), imperforated hymen (0/16) and atresia of vagina (0/4 cases). Only 1 case of congenital absence of the uterus and vagina associated with ipsilateral renal agenesis. Conclusion Anomalies of reproductive ducts associated with renal malformations, especially anisomerous anomalies of reproductive system are not unusual. Early recognition and diagnosis is very important to prevention and treatment of such diseases.

Under physiological conditions, many vital functions of the body are controlled by transient release of bioactive substances at a specific time and site. Based on the circadian rhythm character of disease and chronotherapeutic conceptions, pulsatile delivery system has been designed to achieve optimal therapeutic effect and reduce the toxic and side-effect. In recent years, more and more studies are focused on the pulsatile multiparticulate drug delivery system. Pulsatile multiparticulate system possesses many benefits, such as no risk of dose dumping, predictable gastric emptying, flexible release patterns and increased bioavailability. Based on these premises, the aim of this review is to summarize the major design methods of pulsatile multiparticulate and the research progress.
6.Characters of Organochlorine Pestcides Residues in Vegetable Field,Orchard and Paddy Soil in Guangzhou Suburban Areas
Journal of Environment and Health 2007;0(11):-
Objective To analyze the characteristics of of organochlorine pesticides(OCPs) residues in the soil of the suburbs of Guangzhou. Methods In Baiyun,Conghua,Zengcheng,Panyu,Nansha, surface soil(0-20 cm) samples of vegetable fields, orchard and paddy soil were collected, soil profile(20-40cm,40-60cm) of Baiyun and Panyu were also collected,in Aug,2008.Gas chromatography-electron capture detector method(GC-ECD)was used to determine 17 kinds of organochlorine pesticides. Results The detection rate of 17 kinds of organochlorine pesticides was 90.59% in topsoil, the residue level was 4.19-39.89 ng/g,and the detection rate in profiles soil was 76.70 %,the residue level was 2.35-91.26 ng/g.OCPs residues were mainly HCHs and DDTs.Conclusion Detection rate of organochlorine pesticides is high in soil in the investigated soil and in the 20-40 cm profiles of Baiyun and Panyu, the level of OCPs exceeds the related standard limit, which may have adverse effects on soil environment.

Microbiology 1992;0(02):-
The influence of medium variety、thermal treatment of the soil samples and inhibitor to the isolation effect of actinomycetes was studied by plate paint isolation methods. The results showed that: ①The isolation results of gauze No.1(GA) and straw decay substance agar(SDSA) might reflect basic station of soil actinomycetes. ②Thermal treatment (120℃?1.0h)in soils might promote actinomycetes spore sprouting and increase the quantity and variety of actinomycetes. The quantity and varieties of actinomycetes in the Soils that were treated with 120℃?1.0h were increased by 5.5%~54.9% and 12.5%~100% than the check of none-thermal treatment respectively. But thermal treatment had no effect on reduce the quantity of bacteria. ③The quantity of bacteria had significant reduction by adding 75?g/mL K 2Cr 2O 7 and 1~3?g/mL penicillin at same time to the isolation medium, and had little effect on the quantity and varieties of actinomycetes. Actinomycetes quantity (?10 6cfu/g) and variety of the treating of 75?g/mL K 2Cr 2O 7 and 1~3?g/mL penicillin in No.1 soil on SDSA medium had reductions by 0~58.8% and 0~18.2% compared with treating of 75?g/mL K 2Cr 2O 7, respectively. ④streptomycin might not been used for bacterteria inhabitor in the isolation of actinomycetes.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2004;0(12):-
Objective To determine whether intermittence irradiation of single blue or white light have an adverse effect on the DNA of newborn infants with hyperbilirubinemia by examining the sister chromatid exchange(SCE)frequency of peripheral blood lymphocytes. Methods The frequency of SCE in lymphocytes of 40 icteric infants treated by different phototherapy(PT) methods was a nalyzed by sister chromatid differetance staining technique (SCD).The patients receiving PT were divided into three groups according to two methods of PT,group A:single blue light,20 cases; group B:single white light,20 cases. Results 1.In group A, there was no difference between the levels of SCE before and after therapy within 3 days;but after 4 days, the levels of SCE increased.2.Obvious changes were observed in group B,and the frequency of SCE increased after 1 day and increased significantly in a dose-dependant manner.3.After treatment, the SCE frequency of group B was higher than that of group A.Conclusions PT has mutagenic effect on newborns with hyperbilirubinemia. The effect of single white light on peripheral blood lymphocytes of neonates is more significant.
