miR-224 is a small noncoding RNA that usually binds to response element of target mRNA through the seed sequences,leading to the suppression of translation or mRNA degradation. Recent researches indicate that miR-224 not on?ly aberrantly expresses in multiple tumors(hepatocellular carcinoma,gastric carcinoma, diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, prostatecancer,colorectal cancer, etc),playing an important role in tumor suppressor or oncognen,but also has an effect on the chemosensitivity of tumor.In this article,we review recent studies about the mechanism of miR-224 in the tumor develop?ment ,progression and chemosensitivity.

Objective:To compare the immunizing efficiency in mice with recombinant adenovirus inoculated by intranasal, intramuscular or oral routes.Methods:BALB/c mice were immunized with 108 PFU recombinant adenovirus expressing rotavirus VP4 antigen intranasally, intramuscularly or orally.The mice were boosted twice with the same dose by the same route. Serum, stool and intestine specimens were collected to detect rotavirus VP4 specific antibodies by ELISA. Objective To explore the clinical features and CT characteristics of invasive pulmonary aspergillosis(IPA) in children with acute leukemia.Methods CT scanning of chest was performed in 13 cases with IPA proved clinically and sputum culture in children with acute leukemia.All cases followed up by CT 4 to 10 times.The clinical features and CT findings were analyzed retrospectively.Results The early CT findings included single nodule in 2 cases,multi-nodular shadow in 10 case and sub-pleural wedge-shaped consolidation in 5 cases,of these 5 cases,4 accompanied multi-nodules.Halo sign around the nodules in 9 cases.The follow-up CT showed air crescent sign or cavity in 11 cases,halo sign around the nodules in 7 cases and around cavity in 2 cases.Conclusion IPA has some characteristic manifestations on CT.CT is of important value in observing the evolution and evaluating the prognosis for the patients with IPA.

Recently, Clinical pharmacy becomes a new specialty of higher education in China. Therefore, building clinical pharmacy teaching quality monitoring system (CPTQMS) is very important not only for improving the teaching quality but also for training inter-disciplinary talents. We try to discuss the connotation and practice of CPTQMS from the objectives, measures and information system. We hope our work can present valuable suggestions for the construction and improvement of CPTQMS in Chinese higher education.

The effects of Lipoid of Mujingzi〔LP,Fruits of vitex neguando L Var cannabifo- lia (Sieb et Zucc) Hand mazz〕 on Smooth muscles are reported. The results were as follows:① In the isolated perfused mice lung-bronchi, LP caused significant increase of perfusion medium dropping through the lung-trachea, and the effect of LP was dose-dependent; ACh (Acetyl-choline)-induced contraction of the isolated mice trachea smooth muscles could be relaxed by LP. ② When LP was given introperitoneally(100~ 300 mg?kg-1) into guinea pig, the incubationperiod of asthma induced by acetycholine together with histamine was prolonged.The optimum dilated effect of LP on smooth muscles of trachea in mice can be concluded as the results of synergistic effects by 4 compositions from LP (Oleic acid,Linoleic acid, Palmitic acid and Stearic acid).

Objective To investigate the relationship between the the expression of SOCS-1/3 in the peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) and interferon therapeutic response in patients with chronic hepatitis B.Methods 50 patients with chronic hepatitis B were given interferon therapy.After 24 weeks treatment,according to biochemical and virologic response,they were divided into two groups:response and non response group.HBV-DNA was detected by PCR.The SOCS-1/3 mRNA levels were measured by RT-PCR.Results The expression of SOCS-1 in the PBMCs of response group after 24 weeks treatment was significantly higher than that before interferon therapy (P ＜ 0.05).The expression of SOCS-3 in the PBMCs of response group after 24 weeks trentment was significantly lower than that before interferon therapy (P ＜ 0.05).In non response group,there were no significant differences in the expression of SOCS-1/3 (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusion The increase expression of SOCS-1 mRNA and the decrease of SOCS-3 mRNA in the PBMCs in chronic hepatitis B patients received 24 weeks interferon-therapy probably is relevant to the IFN-α antiviral effect.

Carbonic anhydrase IX (CA IX) is a tumor associated protein which is able to be a potent anticancer target, since it is highly expressed in a multitude of carcinomas, while it is present in a limited number of normal tissues. This review focuses on its role in tumor physiology, the most recent three dimensional structure features of this enzyme which has recently been elucidated. In addition, we present recent advances in the development of small inhibitors able to target CA IX for therapeutic applications.

Objective To investigate CT features and its diagnostic value of traumatic cerebral lacunar infarction. Methods Axial CT scan was performed in 26 cases of brain injury with clinical manifestation of different degree of hemiplega.Results The infarction appeared as small lacunar focuses which were located mainly in the regions of lenticular nucleus,caudate nucleus and internal capsule.Conclusion CT scan is of significant value in diagnosing the traumatic cerebral lacunar infarction and assessing its prognosis.

Objective To discuss the imaging representations and its clinical significance of acute indigitation in infants.Methods The imaging representations including CT,ultrasonography stand abdominal plain film and gas clysters of indigitation comfirmed by operation in 58 infants were analysed.Results (1)Of 58 cases,33 were ileum-colon and ileum-caecal type,25 were ileum-ileum-colon,ilem-cecal-colon and ileum-colon-colon type;(2)The main imaging representations were as following:gas decreased in colon of small intestine (12 cases),inflation in intestine and incomplete ileus (18 cases),ileus of small intestine(17 cases),no abnormity on stand abdominal plain film (8 cases).Gas clyster showed the "goblet sign" and masses (28 cases).The sign of targed rings was seen on ultrasonography(3 cases).The layered homocentric round tumors showed by CT (1 case).Conclusion The imaging representations of acute indigitation in infants are typical,which are significant for the diagnosis.
