Objective:To study optimum inclusion process conditions for volatile oil from Curcuma wenyujin. Methods: The study was carried out with orthogonal design. The process conditions were studied by determining the ultizision ratio of volatile oil from Curcuma wenyujin , the oil bearing rate and extract ratio of inclusion compound. Results: The optimum preparation conditions for inclusion were established as∶oil∶? CD was 1∶9, The inclusion temperature and time were at 40 ?C and for 1.5h , The ultizision ratio of oil was 86.5% . Conclusions: The rate is high and the method is applicable.

Objective: To develop the quality standard of Huganbadu Ointment(Radix Sophorae Flavescentis, Herba Artemisiae Annuae, Radix Astragali, Radix Paeoniae Rubra, etc.) Methods: Radix Sophorae Flavescentis, Herba Artemisiae Annuae, Radix Astragali and Radix Paeoniae Rubra were identified by TLC and the content of matrine was determined by TLC Scanning. Results: The identification study showed strong specificity. The average recovery of matrine was 97.11%, and RSD was 2.50%. Conclusion: The methods established can be used for the quality control of the preparation.

OBJECTIVE: To study the preventive effect of Breviscapus Injection on the chronic hypoxic myocardium injury in rats and its mechanism. METHODS: Transmission electron microscope and biochemical analysis were used to assay the therapeutic effect of Breviscapus Injection in rat model induced by 4 week's hypoxia. RESULTS: The contents of malondialdehyde (MDA) and Ca(2+) in the homogenate of myocardial tissue of the hypoxic rats were significantly higher than those of the control rats. The activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD), nitric oxide synthase (NOS) in the homogenate of myocardial tissue and the plasmic NO levels of the hypoxic rats were significantly lower than those of the control rats. Breviscapus Injection reduced the contents of MDA and Ca(2+), and increased the levels of SOD, NOS and NO. Ultrastructural examination revealed that the injuries of the ultrastructure of heart in hypoxic rats were improved by treatment with Breviscapus Injection. CONCLUSION: Breviscapus Injection can effectively prevent and treat the hypoxia-induced myocardial damage. One of its mechanisms may relate to its adjusting NO level, anti-damaging of free radicals and inhibiting calcium overload.

Objective To observe the morphologic change in rats with pulmonary fibrosis induced by bleomycin through antisense-human tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase-1(hTIMP-1)transfection.Methods Thirty rats were divided into five groups randomly(six rats in each group),namely,hTIMP-1 transfection group,anti-sense hTIMP-1 transfection group,empty retroviral vectors transfection group,pulmonary fibrosis group,and the normal group.On the 1st,3rd,7th,14th,28th,60th,90th day of BLM administration to the hTIMP-1,anti-sense hTIMP-1 and retroviral vectors transfection group,the hTIMP-1 cDNA retroviral vectors containing sense and anti-sense ones and the empty vectors were conducted into the lungs of rats with pulmonary fibrosis,which were sacrificed on the 28th days.The pulmonary fibrosis group was given just BLM for the same period of time.The rats in the normal control groups were sacrificed on the same day.Observe the role of anti-sense hTIMP-1 transfection and the change of hydroxyproline.Results The degree of fibrosis and content of HYP were extenuated by antisense hTIMP-1 transfection on 1st and 3rd day after BLM exposure compared with the same time of fibrosis and transfection by empty retroviral vectors group,morphologically.Conclusion Transfection with antisense-TIMP-1 on the first and third day can suppress the process of pulmonary fibrosis induced by BLM to some extent.

Objective To study the efficacy and side effects of methotrexate with different protocols in the treatment of ectopic pregnancy (EP). Methods Total of 648 patients who had EP and were treated only with MTX were analysed.Patients were divided into six groups according to protocol: Group 1,100 mg intravenously( IV); Group 2,100 mg, IV, followed by citrovorum factor; Group 3, 20 mg, IV every day for five days; Group 4, 20 mg intramusculary (IM) every day for five days; Group 5, 75 mg,IV; Group 6, 75 mg, IM.Results The rates of repeated MTX injection in group1～6 because of inadequate decrease of hCG were 23.3%,25.0%,21.4%,20.6%,24.4% and 22.4% respectively .Success rates were 87.4%,85.4%,90.5%,92.6%,86.3% and 91.4% respectively.Rates of liver dysfunction were 10.3%,8.3%,64.3%,69.1%,8.7% and 31.0%.Conclusion Single-dose of 75mg MTX IV injection may be the best regimen in the treatment of EP because of the same efficacy but the least side effects.

Objective To explore the possibility of cytochrome P-450 3A5 (CYP3A5) genotype as a major factor to guide individualized employment of cyclosporin A(CsA) through a comparative study of CsA concentrations in the peripheral blood of hemopoietic stem cell transplant recipients with different CYP3A5 genotypes. Methods Olymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) was used to genotype CYP3A5 gene, and CsA concentrations were detected by a commercial fluorescence polarization immunoassay. Result There were significant differences in CsA concentrations, including standardized trough concentrations C0 and two h peak concentrations C2 , in the two CYP3A5 genotypes found in our samples, and both C0 and C2 in wild homozygotes were lower than heterozygotes. Conclusion CYP3A5 polymorphism is highly associated with CsA concentrations in hemopoietic stem cell transplant recipients, and CYP3A5 genotype may be a predictor to the dose requirement before clinically employment of CsA.

AIM: To explore the effects of Angelicae sinensis preparation and sodium ferulate on inflammatory liver injury induced by lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and their molecule mechanism. METHODS: ICR mice were divided into five groups: Angelicae sinensis group, sodium ferulate group, dexamethasone group, inflammation control group and normal group. The model of inflammatory injury in mice was set up by tail vein injection with the bacillus calmette-guerin (BCG) and LPS respectively prior and posterior to administration of those tested drugs. The tested drugs (the preparations of Angelica sinensis, sodium ferulate and dexamethasone) and normal saline were given respectively to the corresponding group. The pathological observation of the liver tissues in mice was made for the intensity of inflammatory liver injuries. The immunohistochemical detection and comparison were performed for the expression of ICAM-1 and E-selectin proteins in the liver tissues in those mice.
