1.Allergic diseases among the workers of Hanoi 's 8/3 Textile Manufacture.

An investigation was carried out on 927 workers. A high rate of allergic disease was reported, especially at the respiratory system. 11 to 12 year long occupational ages are the most vulnerable ages with a highest rate of positive reaction to cotton dusty allergen. Mean value of pulmonary air flow volume decreased among all age groups in comparing with normal value.

3.Silico-pneumoconiosis in workers of the factory of paved stone and construction in Binh Dinh Province

Studying on clinical symptoms and respiratory function of 83 workers above 5 years professional age (86% male and 14% female) showed that there are predominantly 2 functional symptoms: chest pain and dipnoea, then sputum, cough and hemoptisis, two physical symptoms of deformity of the chest, vesicular murmur, were of higher rate. The incidence of respiratory total dysfunction accounts for 38.6% in workers. The incidence of silico-pneumoconiosis is 9.6%, mild form is common in most of workers

5.Effect of carbon monoxide on health workers in a metallurgical factory

Our research was carried out on 133 occupational carbon monoxide exposed workers in a metallurgical factory. The results showed that carbon monoxide concentration in some working places was higher than the allowance limit from 1.4 to 5.3 times. 77.2% indoor environment was polluted by substances coming from factory. This pollution had influenced on the health of 35.3% of workers (influence on nervous, circulatory, respiratory, digestive systems and anemia,..) 16.5% of the cases suffered from occupational carbon monoxide chronic clinical poisoning. The occupational acute carbon monoxide poisoned anamnesis at the factory was 7.3%.

6.Health status of carbon monoxide exposed workers in a coke factory

The investigation was done in 74 occupational carbon monoxide exposed workers in a coke factory. The result showed that carbon monoxide concentration in some work places was higher than the allowable limit from 1,2 to 5 times. 70,3% workers' indoor environment was polluted by substances coming from factory. These pollution had influence on the health of 47,2% workers (influence on nervous, circulatory, respiratory, digestive systems and anemia etc.). 1,4% of the cases suffered from occupational carbon monoxide chronic clinical poisoning.

7.Working environment and health status of workers exposing with petrol at Quang Ninh province

A survey on working environment at 35 facilities discovered some types of dusts, harmful factors such as the noise at high level in some working places (94-100 dBA), tiny dusts, over standard petrol gas. 14/760 workers were examined periodically had tetraetyl lead level in urine during 24 hours. Among 54 cases of lead comtanination, the clinical symptoms of arterial blood pressure - pulse accounted for 42,5%; headache, in somia, much sweating on arms and legs were high, 60 cases suffered from occupational skin gray.

8.Working environment and health status of workers in the industrial area of Quang Ninh province

A survey on 4 typical industrial areas of Quang Ninh province at 12 representative facilities and inhabitants areas: Ha Long, Uong Bi, Cam Pha and morbidity statistics in workers by examining periodically has shown that the severe dusts, tiny dusts accounted for high rate, poisonous gas concentration was high at some working places, over standard noise was common, oxygen concentration was reduced in the air. The diseases of ear, nose and throat were 46%, dental maxillofacial diseases, dermatological diseases were 35-36%, internal disease and gynecological diseases in women were 26%, the rate of occupational accidents were high.

9.The study linked the working environment to the health of workers in the Thai Binh Porcelain Company.

The study aimed to link some factors of working environment to the health status of workers. Participants were 228 workers of the Thai Binh Porcelain Company. It is found that the working environment has been polluted by several factor such as heat radiation, dust and noise, especially in baking oven workshop. The diseases that affected mainly to workers included sore throat (43.86%), trachomatis (17.98%), itchiness (9.21%), joint problems (6.36%), rhinitis (5.26%) and conjunctivitis (3.95%).

10.Gynecological disease of female workers at National Dong giao plantation
Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Information 2000;(4):36-39
On March 1999, 482 female workers underwent an interview with a writing questionnaire and a gynecological examination concerning some diseases of genital tract, some pathogen of microorganisms, familial planning program and reproductive health. The statistical study shows that inflammations of the lower genital tract are the most common diseases.
