4.Evaluation methods for cognitive function of animal models of vascular cognitive impairment
International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2012;20(1):54-58
Vascular cognitive impairment (VCI) is a large class syndrome caused by a variety of cerebrovascular diseases from mild cognitive impairment to dementia. In the VCI animal experiments, choosing a reliable test method is particularly important for evaluating animal cognitive function and the improving the quality of animal models.
5.Electrochemical properties of enzyme electrode in biofuel cell
International Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2006;0(02):-
Objective To study the electrochemical features of an improved enzyme bioelectrode for biofuel cell. Methods The enzyme electrode was prepared via biotin-avidin technology and its electrochemical features were explored. The conditions such as layers of enzyme films, strength of glucose, scan speed and temperature, which affected the electrochemical behavior of enzyme electrode, were studied. Results The results showed that the electrode had good electric current response to glucose. The enzyme electrode prepared can fulfill the need of biofuel cell and is a promising electrode to be used in human body.
6.Breast-conserving Surgery in 28 Cases of Mammary Cancer and Therapeutic Effects Evaluation of Traditional Chinese Medicine
International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2009;31(5):437-
Objective To investigate the indication, methods and therapeutic effects of breast-conserving surgery in mammary cancer of early stage. Methods A retrospective study on 28 cases of Ⅰ and Ⅱ stage of breast-conserving surgery was underwent. Results Breast-conserving surgery does not destroy the appearance symmetry of breast, and maintains a low baldness rate. The recurrence rate in 5 years after surgery is 5.3%, and the 5 years' survival rate is 100%. Conclusion Breast-conserving surgery combined with the hinese herbal medicine therapy is an effective and safe way to treat mammary cancer in a early stage.

Journal of Practical Radiology 1996;0(04):-
Objective To evaluate the dynamic imaging alteration of radiation-induced hepatic injuries after stereotactic radiotherapy (SRT) in hepatocellular carcinoma. Methods 18 healthy New Zealand white rabbits inoculated VX_2 carcinoma underwent 40 Gy SRT and divided into three groups randomly. The rabbits underwent identical plain and enhanced MR imaging after SRT 3 weeks,9 weeks and 20 weeks respectively. The signal-to-noise ratios of irradiation area and the surrounding normal liver on T_1WI and T_2WI imaging were calculated; The percentage enhancement of the hepatic injuried areas and the surrouding livers after Gd-DTPA enhanced was also calculated. Results After radiotherapy three weeks, the signal-to-noise ratios of irradiation areas on T_1WI and T_2WI were no difference between normal liver tissue and irradiation area; there were significant difference between normal liver tissues in radiotherapy nine weeks and twenty weeks; The difference in the signal-to-noise ratios of irradiation area were significant between after three weeks and nine weeks, twenty weeks. There were no difference in the signal-to-noise ratios of irradiation area between nine weeks and twenty weeks. The percentage enhancement of the hepatic injuries area have significant difference in arterial phase between three weeks and twenty weeks and between nine weeks and twenty weeks; The difference in portal and delay phase were significant between three weeks and nine weeks, twenty weeks, there were no difference between nine weeks and twenty weeks. Conclusion Dynamic enhanced and unenhanced MR imaging can reflect the pathological background of radiation-induced hepatic injuries in different phases.

Journal of Chinese Physician 2001;0(07):-
Objective To Investigate the expression of metallothionein (MT) and p53 in non-small cell lung carcinoma(NSCLC). Methods The expression of MT and p53 was detected by immunohistochemical method in the paraffin-embedded specimens of 73 NSCLCs and 15 normal bronchial mucosal tissues(NBMT). Results [WTBZ]The positive rates of MT and p53 expression in NSCLC were 54.8%(40/73)and 65.8%(48/73), respectively, and in NBMT were 20.0%(3/15)and 33.3%(5/15), respectively. The positive rates of both MT and p53 in NSCLC were significantly higher than those in NBMT(P0.05). The positive rates of MT and p53 were closely correlated with the histological grades and lymph node metastasis of NSCLC(P

Journal of Practical Radiology 1991;0(03):-
Objective To evluate Feridex-enhanced MRI in the diagnosis of focal hepatic lesions. Methods Conventional plain and Feridex-enhanced MR scanning was performed in 20 cases with suspected hepatic neoplasm. The number of lesions on T 2WI ,and the signal intensity of liver and lesions demonstrated on plain and enhanced scans were observed and analyzed. Results After the injection of Feridex, the signal intensity of normal liver tissue reduced significantly, while the signal intensity of lesions showed no marked changes,Feridex-enhanced MRI clearly displayed more lesions on T 2WI than plain scanning did. Conclusion Feridex-enhanced MRI is very sensitive in detecting focal hepatic lesions.
10.Expression and clinical significance of interleukin-17 and Th17 cells in the peripheral blood of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus
Chinese Journal of Rheumatology 2010;14(10):672-676
Objective To determine the protein and mRNA levels ofinterleukin-17 (IL-17) and the proportion of Th17 cells in the peripheral blood of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and their clinical significance is analyzed. Methods Twenty-five hospitalized SLE patients were recruited and twentytwo healthy volunteers were enrolled as normal controls. Plasma protein and mRNA of IL-17 in the peripheral blood were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and real time-PCR respectively. Flow cytometric assay was used to analyze the percentage of Th17 cells in SLE patients. The relationship between IL-17/Th17 cells and clinical or laboratory parameters of SLE patients was explored. Students' t-test and Spearman's correlation was used to evaluate the relationship between mRNA level and inflammatory parameters. Results The plasma concentration and mRNA level of IL-17 was significantly elevated in SLE patients as compared to the normal controls (P<0.05). The percentage of Th17 cells in patients with SLE was higher than that of normal controls and was significantly increased in more active SLE patients and SLE with nephritis than less active SLE and SLE without nephritis (P<0.05). Both plasma levels of IL-17 and the proportion of Th17 cells were positively correlated with SLEDAI (r=0.681, P<0.01; r=0.426, P=0.034). Conclusion Plasma IL-17 protein and mRNA expression level and the percentage of Th17 cells in SLE patients are all significantly elevated and the close relationship between IL-17/Th17 cells and disease activity suggests that IL-17/Th17 may play an important role in the pathogenesis of SLE.
