1.Practice and reflection on training geriatric postgraduates of clinical medicine
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2012;11(2):132-134
In our university, the training for geriatric postgraduates of clinical medicine is now in the initial stage. Therefore,it is important to explore the training model to improve the quality of postgraduate. The program focused on cultivating geriatric postgraduates' ability of diagnosis and treatment, helping them have the concept of integral service and enhancing their teaching and thinking ability of clinical sciences to provide high-level comprehensive geriatric doctors for the society.
2.Clinical Observation of Early Acupuncture in Treating Acute Cerebral Infarction
Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2006;4(3):148-149
Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy of acupuncture in treating cerebral infarction by its intervention in the acute stage. Methods: A treatment group of 49 cases was treated with acupuncture by its intervention in the acute stage plus rehabilitation in the convalescent stage, and a control group of 28 cases, with acupuncture applied only to the convalescent stage. Results: The total effective rate was 95.9% in the treatment group and 78.6% in the control group. The curative effect was significantly higher in the treatment group than in the control group. Conclusion:The treatment of cerebral infarction by early acupuncture intervention is safe, reliable and exactly effective. It is worthy to be popularized and applied.
3.Improving the quality of teaching in medical imaging under construction of the excellent course
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2003;0(02):-
National level excellent courses' construction is an important part of the quality and reform in education .We explored the teaching methods of medical imaging under the construction of the excellent course to improve the quality education.

Case based study emphasizes on the training of students' practical clinical ability. With the development of computer technology, picture archiving and communication system was widely applied, providing bases for case based study. According to the characteristics of radiology, appli-cation of case based study in medical imaging practice teaching was believed to stimulate students' learning interest, improve their analytical ability and thinking capacity, make them combine theory with practice better and develop their clinical thinking ability.

Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2003;0(02):-
Comparative imaging can be used to analyse and compare diseases in different respects, which can not only conduce to students’transversal contrast of knowledge they have learned, but also improve the teaching effect of medical imaging and the students’clinical skills, and at the same time, lay a solid foundation of the research for future.

Journal of Interventional Radiology 1994;0(02):-
Objective To determine the changes of high-sensitive serum C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) in patients with typical chest pain and normal coronary arteriography. Methods One hundred and twenty three patients were included. CRP was determined using a standard technique, and all patients underwent ECG exercise testing. Results Plasma level of hs-CRP was significantly increased in patients with typical chest pain, coronary arteriography negative and exercise test positive. Conclusion Inflammation may play a role in the mechanism of chest pain for patients with normal coronary angiography.

Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 2006;0(03):-
OBJECTIVE To lower the incidence of postoperative pulmonary infection in abdominal major operation.METHODS We performed a retrospective trial analysis on pulmonary infection after major abdominal operation in 402 cases from Oct 2004 to Oct 2005,and in the meanwhile effective preventive procedures were conducted.RESULTS Thirty three cases with pulmonary infection went weel with active treatment and nursing.CONCLUSIONS The predisposing factors for postoperative infection include anesthetic method, incision pain, and environmental pollution. The better methods for prevention of pulmonory infection are good preoperative instruction, planned respiration training, keeping airway confluent postoperatively, effectively reducing incision pain, infection control, and preventing environmental and air pollution.

BACKGROUND:Human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells are similar to bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells, which can directional y differentiate into neuron-like cells, secrete various cytokines, and provide the base for nerve regeneration.
OBJECTIVE:To study the role of chitosan composite nerve conduit carrying umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells in nerve end-to-side anastomosis.
METHODS:Thirty while rabbits were randomized into three groups. The central branch of the right posterior peroneal nerve were cut and proximal y ligated, and then sutured evaginably to the muscle. In the control group, the distal end of the common peroneal nerve were anastomosed into the tibial nerve at 30°-45°;in the stenting group, the chitosan conduit was bridged at the same interval and angle into the end-to-side anastomosis site between the tibial nerve and peroneal nerve;in the cel-stenting group, the chitosan conduit carrying human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells was bridged at the same interval and angle into the end-to-side anastomosis site between the tibial nerve and peroneal nerve. After 12 weeks, gross observation, neurophysiological examination and anti-S-100 immunohistochemistry detection were performed.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:After 12 weeks of operation, in the cel-stenting group, the conduit degraded completely, the nerve diameter was similar to that of the normal peroneal nerve, and the motor nerve conduction velocity was higher than that in the control and stenting groups (P<0.01). Anti-S-100 immunohistochemistry results showed that a great amount of brownish red Schwann cells arranged around the regenerated nerve fibers in the cel-stenting group, while there was few and sparse brownish red substance, and the Schwann cells grew worse in the stenting and control groups. These findings suggest that umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells have an obvious role in promoting nerve regeneration, induce bud growth, accelerate the growth rate of regenerated fibers, and improve growth and maturity of Schwann cells.
