Objective To study the characteristics of two operation methods and to choose a better one for repairing the sunken upper eyelid deformity by comparing with the traditional operation methods. Methods Two kinds of operation method were used, in which the brow fat pad flap and free fascia fat tissue graft were transfered for repairing the sunken upper eyelid deformity. Results Four cases of sunken upper eyelid were repaired successfully using the transferring of brow fat pad flap. The operative results were satisfactory with less complications. The fat did not absorb after a year follow-up. Other 5 cases of sunken upper eyelid were repaired successfully using free fascia fat tissue graft. The fat absorbed a little after a year follow-up and the shape of the upper eyelid was satisfactory. Conclusion The inversion of brow fat pad flap is a new method to repair the sunken upper eyelid deformity and has the following advantages: ⑴the fat tissue transferred to the recipient site has good blood supply with no absorption, and the long term result is permanent; ⑵the construction of brow fat pad is similar to the orbital septum fat, and the result is better and more natural; ⑶the donor site is adjacent to the recipient site, and the brow fat pad can be transferred easily, and ⑷there is no apparent postoperative scar in the donor site. The fascia-fat composite is expected to have a better survival rate than free fat alone and to be lighter than a dermis-fat, and is much similar to the anatomical structure of the repair site. Therefore, the method of fascia fat graft is one of good methods to be selected to repair the sunken upper eyelid.

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of new-type patent endotracheal tube in difficult endotrachea intubation patients.Methods Seventy-three patients with the abnormal airways were selected as our subjects.Patients were given the traditional endotracheal tube by mouth after anesthesia.The successes patients in terms of endotracheal intubation were as group Ⅰ (n =73).The failed patients were asgroup Ⅱ (n =63),who performed the secondary endotracheal intubation with new type patent endotracheal tube.Analyze the success rate of intubation of the two groups when on use the tube core.Results The first time intubation success rate and intubation success rate was (2.7％ (2/73),13.7％ (10/73) respectively) in Ⅰ group,and 73.02％ (46/63) and 98.41％ (62/63) respectively in the group Ⅱ,and there was the significant difference between two groups (x2 =36.01,31.08 respectively,P ＜ 0.01).Conclusion The new type endotracheal tube was proved with three advamage of good plasticity,without need of auxiliary core intubation with trachealtube and give full play to lead the soft cannula guide tubes leading role.Therefore,the new type patent endotracheal tube has more efficacy over traditional tube.

Objective:To study effect of tripterygium glycosides(TG)on T-lymphocyte subsets in rats with idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura(ITP),and further to discuss the possible mechanism of TG in treating ITP.Methods:ITP animal model was established by intraperitoneal injection of exogenous anti-platelet–serum(APS).Sixty model rats were randomly divided into five groups:normal group,saline group,the high and low dosage of TG groups,prednisone group.Every rat was giving liquid medicine by intragastric administration one time per day for ten days 36 hours after the first intraperitoneal injection of exogenous APS.The changes of peripheral hemogram,the amount of megakaryocyte of bone marrow and T-lymphocyte subsets were observed.Results:In high dosage of TG group,the number of platelet count increased obviously,the number of megakaryocyte in bone marrow,CD8+and CD4+decreased,and CD4+/CD8+increased.Conclusion:High dosage of TG had obviously therapeutic effect on IPT rat,such as increasing platelet count obviously,reducing number of megakaryocyte in bone marrow obviously and ameliorating T-lymphocyte subsets.The mechanism may be related to regulating the cell immune function.

Objective To discuss the application and effect of predictive care in stage divided treatment and salvage of children's persistent status of epilepsy (SE).Methods Sixty-four children with SE were admitted to the First Peoples Hospital of Wenling in Zhejiang Province from December 2014 to December 2016 as the research objects, a controlled study was adopted, in which the stage divided therapeutic method was compared with the conventional method for treatment of SE, and the children were divided into an observation group and a control group, 32 cases in each group. Foresight treatment method was used in the observation group: the first stage of treatment (early treatment or pre-hospital treatment) was intravenous injection of the first-line drugs (benzodiazepines); the second stage of treatment (progressive stage treatment or initial treatment) mainly used epileptic drugs to prevent recurrence; the third stage treatment (referred to after the first-line drug in combination with one second line antiepileptic drug treatment, the disease was still unable to be controlled) adopted the mild hypothermia therapy to reduce the SE attack amplitude and decrease recurrence; in terms of aspects of predictive nursing measures, the respiratory tract nursing, basic nursing, the prediction of complications and their nursing, etc. were implemented. The routine nursing without care about the stages was carried out in the control group. The SE control time, skin lesions, false aspiration, lung infection, tongue bite, cerebral edema, etc. the incidenceof complications were observed in two groups of children.Results The SE control time was significantly shorter in observation group than that in the control group (minutes: 18.13±3.15 vs. 25.19±2.69,P < 0.05), and the incidence of complications was obviously lower in observation group than that in the control group [6.25% (2/32) vs. 28.13% (9/32),P < 0.05]. Conclusion Using different therapy at different stages of children SE combined with predictive care can effectively shorten the SE control time, decrease the incidence of complications and elevate the therapeutic and nursing effects.

BACKGROUND: How to solve the source of material substitute for repair of urethral dcfoct and improve the blood supply of new urethra has become a critical problem in the urethral repair and reconstruction.OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effects of endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs) on improving blood circulation in the new urethra following urethral defect repair.DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING: In vivo tissue engineering experiment,performed at the Laboratory of Deparanent of Surgery,First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University between January 2006 and February 2008.MATERIALS: Thirteen 3-5-month-old male Japanese rabbits were included for this study.Of them,one was used for preparation of bone marrow mononuclear cells,and the remaining twelve rabbits were divided into EPC repair group (n=8) and model group (n=4).METHODS: Under the aseptic condition,bone marrow was taken from the rabbit bilateral anterior superior lilac spine.Mononuclear cells isolated by Percoll method were induced in vitro using medium supplemented with vascular endothelial growth factors (VEGFs) and bovine basic fihroblast growth factors.When covering the whole bottom of culture flask,the mononuclear cells were digested with trypsin for passage.Animal models of urethral defect were developed in the two groups.One piece of aseptic fresh acellular human amnion (1 cm2) was sutured to each defected urethra using 0/6 DG suture for forming urethra.In the EPC repair group,1010/L passage 3 rabbit bone marrow mononuclear cell suspension was injected to two anastomotic stomas of the new urethra,0.1 mL for each stoma.The subcutaneous tissue was interruptedly sutured to the formed urethra using 0/6 DG suture.In addition,0.5 mL bone marrow mononuclear cell suspension was added to the region between each anastomotic stroma and newly repaired urethra.The same procedure was performed in the model group except that bone marrow mononuclear cell suspension was replaced by cell-free medium.At weeks 4 and 12 after surgery,paraffin sections of urethral tissue were made.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Identification of cellular morphology; vascular regeneration of urethral tissue after urethral defect repair.RESULTS: After surgery,rabbit bone marrow mononuclear cells adhesively grew in vitro.Four days later,these cells exhibited rapid clone-like growth.Ten days later,they had typical slabstone-like change,presenting with strip-shaped and bundle-shaped growth.The phenotype of cultured cells gradually turned from CD34+/CD 133+/CD31+ to CD34+/CD 1337CD31+.At weeks 4 and 12 after surgery,the number of regenerate,d blood capillaries in the urethral tissue was significantly greater in the EPC repair group than in the model group (t=-9.034 to 5.985,P ＜ 0.01).CONCLUSION: Rabbit bone marrow mononuclear cells-differentiated EPCs can apparently improve local blood circulation in the urethral defect repair.

Objective To observe the effect of Jiawei Siwu Decoction for idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) on the effi‐cacy and immune aspects of the model mice .Methods We used guinea pig anti mouse platelet serum immune IT P model ,then con‐duct the corresponding drug treatment .The mice were observed in peripheral blood ,bone marrow changes of nuclear cell count ,ser‐um IL‐6 content and changes in the spleen index .Results Compared with the model group of physiological saline of peripheral blood WBC ,prednisone group and Chinese medicine group PLT count ,bone marrow nucleated cell counts were significantly elevated (P<0 .01) ,the content of IL‐6 in serum were increased significantly (P<0 .01) ,no difference between the two treatment groups . Thymus and spleen index increased too (P<0 .05) .Conclusion Jiawei Siwu Decoction may be related to the regulation of cellular immunity ,increased serum IL‐6 content ,improve bone marrow hematopoietic microenvironment to achieve therapeutic effects in the ITP mice .

ObjectiveTo investigate the relationship between the presentation of color knowledge and the motion knowledge. Methods39 patients with brain injury and 39 healthy volunteers were recruited in this study. They were tested with the color attribute judgment task and the motion attribute judgment task. Group analysis and case analysis were taken to investigate the correlation and dissociation between these two tasks. ResultsGroup analysis revealed a positive correlation between the color attribute judgment and the motion attribute judgment task. As for case analysis, 5 patients showed significantly better performance on color attribution judgment than motion attribution judgment. In contrast, another 5 patients showed significantly better performance on motion attribute judgment than color attribute judgment. ConclusionColor knowledge and motion knowledge are represented independently in the brain, which is consistent with the distributed semantic memory theory.

ObjectiveTo study the relationship between representations of verbal sound and non-verbal sound in the brain. Methods39 patients with brain injury and 39 healthy volunteers were recruited in this study. They were tested with the sound-verification task (a non-verbal sound test) and the sound attribute judgment task (a verbal sound test). The software developed by Crawford and Garthwaite was used for data analysis. ResultsGroup analysis revealed a positive correlation between the verbal sound test and non-verbal sound test. As for case analysis, some patients were impaired in the comprehension of verbal sound test, but normal in the comprehension of non-verbal sound test. In contrast, some patients were impaired in the comprehension of non-verbal sound test, but normal in the comprehension of verbal sound test. ConclusionVerbal sound and non-verbal sound are represented independently in the brain. In the process of language rehabilitation of aphasia, attention should not only be paid to verbal sound training, but also to non-verbal sound training.

ObjectiveTo observe the effects of attention training with conventional cognitive training on cognitive impairment after stroke. Methods52 cases with cognition dysfunction after stroke were divided into the attention training group and conventional cognitive training group. They were assessed with Basic Cognitive Ability Test, Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE), Barthel Index, and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale （NIHSS） before and 8 weeks after training. ResultsAll the patients improved their cognitive function after training, but the attention training group improved more in the digit span test, two-word recognition, and MMSE score than the conventional cognitive training group. ConclusionAttention training is a useful way to improve cognitive function in patients after stroke.
