Anti-glutamic acid decarboxylase antibody-associated encephalitis is a kind of autoimmune encephalitis mediated by anti-glutamic acid decarboxylase antibody, which belongs to anti-neuronal intracellular synaptic protein antibody-associated encephalitis. Clinical manifestations include stiff-person syndrome, cerebellar ataxia, limbic encephalitis, seizures, etc., often associated with a variety of autoimmune diseases, rarely associated with tumors. Detection of anti-glutamic acid decarboxylase antibody is crucial for clinical diagnosis. Immunotherapy helps to relieve symptoms and improve prognosis. The incidence of this disease is low, and there are few reports at home and abroad. This paper intends to review the research on this encephalitis, hoping to improve the clinicians′ understanding and the level of diagnosis and treatment of the disease.

Objective To study whether the effects of bone mineral density by a kidney-tonifying herbal fufang treatment in senile osteoporosis mice (P6) is by the mechanism of improving the expression level of GH mRNA and IGF-1 mRNA. Methods The experimental points four groups as following:SAMR1 mice which feed saline lavage,SAMP6 divid as saline lavage group, subcutaneous injection of rhGH group and a kidney-tonifying herbal fufang treatment group. All intervention is one time everyday. After 3 months and 6 months intervention,we measure the BMD and the expression level of the GH mRNA and of IGF-1 mRNA. Results After 3 months intervention, the BMD of R1 group and the Kidney group were higher than the P6 blank group;but there is no difference in BMD between RhGH group and the P6 blank group. The effect of GH mRNA and IGF-1 mRNA expression levels:the R1 group,rhGH and kidney group were higher than the P6 blank group. After six months intervention, the BMD of the rhGH group and kidney group are higher than the P6 blank group. GH mRNA and IGF-1 mRNA expression levels:GH group and kidney group are higher than the P6 blank group. The expression level of GH mRNA and IGF-1 mRNA in four groups has positive correlation. After six months intervention ,we found the positive correlation between the expression level of GH mRNA and IGF-1 mRNA and each part of the whole body BMD. Conclusion A kidney-tonifying herbal fufang can improve the bone mineral density of P6,and its mechanism may be related to improve expression level of GH mRNA and IGF-1 mRNA.

Objective To assess the effects of Jinghou Zengzhi Recipe(JHZZR),a Chinese prescription with the action of tonifying Qi and blood ,on the ovary apoptosis and expression of Bim in ovarian granulosa cells (GCs) of controlled ovarian hyperstimulation(COH) rats , and analyze the possible therapeutic mechanism. Methods A model of COH rats were prepaered and 30 female SD rats were randomly divided into 5 groups , including control group, positive control group, low, medium and high concentration group in six rats in each group. The apoptosis index(AI)in ovarian GCs were detected by TUNEL ,and the expression of Bim by qPCR. Results The AI of ovarian GCs in high and medium concentration group were obviously lower(P < 0.05)than that in the positive control group, and there is no significant differences(P > 0.05)comparing with control group. The mRNA levels of Bim were lower(P<0.05)in all concentration group than those in positive control group ,but still higher(P<0.05)than that in control group. And there is no significant differences(P>0.05)during the three concentration groups in Bim mRNA. Conclusion JHZZR can inhibit the ovarian GCs apoptosis of COH rats through decreasing the expression of Bim mRNA ,which improve the quality of ovarian follicle.

PURPOSE: To explore whether there is matching relation between the length and the tilting angle of terminal implants in the All-on-Four protocol by studying the effects of different implant configurations on stress distributions of implant, bone, and framework. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Four implants were employed to support a full-arch fixed prosthesis and five three-dimensional finite element models were established with CT images, based on the length (S and L) and distal tilt angle (0degrees, 30degrees and 45degrees) of terminal implants for an edentulous mandible, which named: Tilt0-S, Tilt30-S, Tilt30-L, Tilt45-S and Tilt45-L. An oblique 240 N was loaded at second molar. The von Mises Stresses were analyzed. The implants were consecutively named #1 to #4 from the loading point. RESULTS: 1) Tilt0-S had the greatest stress on the implants, with the other groups exhibiting variable reductions; the four implants of Tilt45-L demonstrated the greatest reduction in stress. 2) Tilt0-S had the greatest stress at bone around #1 implant neck, and Tilt45-L exhibited the least stress, which was a 36.3% reduction compared to Tilt0-S. 3) The greatest stress in the framework was found on the cantilevers distal to #1 implant. Tilt45-S exhibited the least stress. CONCLUSION: Matching different length and tilting angle of the terminal implants led to variable stress reductions on implants, bone and the superstructure. By optimizing implant configuration, the reduction of stress on implants and surrounding bone could be maximized. Under the present condition, Tilt45-L was the preferred configuration. Further clinical testings are required.

Objective To investigate the clinical value of [11C]CFT PET in the diagnosis and severity assessment of Parkinson disease (PD). Methods Thirty-eight patients with PD at various Hoehn & Yahr (H&Y) stages were included and underwent a [11C]CFT PET scan. The correlation between [11C]CFT uptake and unified Parkinson disease rating scale part III (UPDRS III) of PD patients was evaluated by calculating Pearson’s regression coefficient. Statistical parametric mapping (SPM) analysis was performed to compare the difference of dopamine transporter (DAT) distribution between ear-ly and advanced PD patients. Results There was a significant reduction of [11C]CFT uptake in the bilateral striatum of PD patients. There was a significant negative correlation between clinical scores of UPDRS III, rigidity, bradykinesia, pos-ture, gait and [11C]CFT uptake in the striatum. The SPM analysis revealed a significant and asymmetric decrease of [11C] CFT uptake in the striatum, predominantly on the putamen and caudate nucleus contralateral to the onset limb, in the posterior area of ipsilateral putamen in early PD (H&Y 1-2) patients compared with the normal controls. There was a sig-nificant symmetric decrease of [11C]CFT uptake in both putamen and caudate nucleus in advanced PD (H&Y 3-5) pa- tients, compared with normal controls. Compared with early PD patients, the reduction of DAT was more severe in bilater-al caudate nucleus and the ipsilateral putamen in the advanced PD patients. Conclusions [11C]CFT PET is a sensitive biomarker in the diagnosis and assessment of disease severity of PD patients.
