2.Study on the preparation of mouse embryonic stem cell feeder layer
Journal of Chongqing Medical University 1987;0(01):-
Objective:To establish a stable and effective system of mouse embryonic fibroblasts(MEFs) feeder layer in order to separate and culture mouse embryonic stem cells(ESC) in vitro. Methods:the MEFs were isolated from the mouse embryos at 13.5~14.5dpc(days post-coitus) through primary tissue digestion and tissue piece culture. The optional planting density of cell was determined according to the cellular growth curve detected by MTT and the morphology in the culture dish under inverted microscope. The optional concentration of mitomycin C and the time treating with mitomycin on MEFs were determined by MTT assay.Murine blastcysts(3.5dpc) were cultured on the feeder layer treated by mitomycin C and ESC growth was observed.Result:The method of tissue digestion and tissue piece culture is an efficient way to obtain primary MEFs;1?105~2?105/ml cells is an optional planting density;MEFs proliferation could be effeciently repressed after being treated with mitomycin C 10?g/ml for 3.5 hours or 20?g/ml for 2.5 hours, and the quantity of MEFs could maintain at least for 7 days.ES clone could be obtained from the mouse blastcysts(3.5dpc) after being cultured on the feeder layer. Conclusion:MEFs feeder layer could effectively support mouse embryonic stem cells to grow.
3.Experimental study on IL-3 gene expression induced by TSPG
Journal of Chongqing Medical University 1987;0(01):-
Objective:To explore the effect of TSPG (total saponins of panax ginseng) on gene expression of IL-3 which is one of the important hematopoietic growth factor at early stage of hematopoiesis. Methods:Techniques of RT-PCR and in situ hybridization were used. Results:A band corresponding to IL-3 was observed after RNA extraction from TSPG stimulated Jurkat cells were subjected to RT-PCR,while such band was not observed after RNA extraction from unstimulated Jurkat cells were subjected to RT-PCR.Comparing with the control group, both quantity and intensity of IL-3mRNA expression in fetus thymocytes and splenocytes induced by TSPG were obviously promoted. Conclusion:TSPG can induce human lymphocytes to express IL-3 mRNA,thus promote human hematopoiesis at early stage.
4.EXPERIMENTAL STUDY FOR THE EFFECT OF TSPG ON THE EXPRESSION OF IL-3 IN HEMATOPOIETIC STROMAL CELLS
Acta Anatomica Sinica 1953;0(01):-
Objective Panax ginseng is a well-known Chinese traditional medicine functional in “invigorating qi”,and saponins are one of its main effective fractions. Our study investigates the effect of total saponins of panax ginseng(TSPG)on human hematopoiesis at early stage and its possible regulative mechanism to clarify the hematonic mechanism of Panax ginseng. Methods The techniques of culturing hematopoietic progenitor cells in vitro, bioassay of hematopoietic growth factor(HGF),immunocytochemistry and nucleic acid in situ hybridization were used to study the effect of TSPG on IL-3’s expression in hematopoietic stromal cell and its possible mechanism. Results TSPG directly added into culture system in vitro can markedly increase the colony forming yields of CFU-Mix;the different conditioned culture media prepared with TSPG can promote the proliferation and differentiation of CFU-Mix;the protein and mRNA expression of IL-3 in BMSC and cells of EcV304,THP induced by TSPG has been much intensified. Conclusion TSPG may regulate hematopoiesis at early stage by activating IL-3's gene expression in hematopoietic stromal cell, which is the most important element in hematopietic inductive microenvironment(HIM).

The experimental teaching innovation of Histology and Embryology is summarized in this article, which turned induction, practice and examination, the three stages of experimental teaching into" Problem-Based learning", thus making the teaching effect much better.
6.EEG feature extraction based on quantum particle swarm optimizer and independent component analysis.
Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2014;31(3):502-505
Feature extraction is a very crucial step in P300-based brain-computer interface (BCI) and independent component analysis (ICA) is a suitable P300 feature extraction method. But at present the convergence performance of the general ICA iteration methods are not very satisfactory. In this paper, a method based on quantum particle swarm optimizer (QPSO) algorithm and ICA technique is put forward for P300 extraction. In this method, quantum computing is used to impel ICA iteration to globally converge faster. It achieved the purpose of extracting P300 rapidly and efficiently. The method was tested on two public datasets of BCI Competition II and III, and a simple linear classifier was employed to classify the extracted P300 features. The recognition accuracy reached 94.4% with 15 times averaged. The results showed that the proposed method could extract P300 rapidly and the extraction effect did not reduce. It provides an experimental basis for further study of real-time BCI system.

7.Analysis on professor WANG Juyi's crevice theory from Tao Teh King.
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2015;35(10):1069-1072
The crevice theory proposed by professor WANG Juyi is analyzed in this article. In the crevice theory, it is believed that the meridians are located among "skin, pulse, flesh, tendon and bone", and the crevice is the path for the transportation of qi-blood and body fluid in the body, which is the essential condition for vital movement. This is in agreement with the idea of "action through inaction" from Tao Teh King. Based on crevice theory, the abnormalities of meridians can reflex the deficiency and excess of diseases, and regulating meridians is a significant way to treat diseases, and maintaining smooth meridian is important for healthcare.

8.Research advances in peroxisome proliferator activated receptor-γ and renal fibrosis
Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(medical Science) 2010;30(1):104-107
The end stage of chronic renal diseases is characterized by glomerular sclerosis and interstitial fibrosis. Studies have revealed that effective amelioration of renal fibrosis can significantly delay the progression of chronic renal diseases. Peroxisome proliferator activated receptors (PPARs) are ligand-activated nuclear transcriptional factors of the nuclear hormone receptor superfamily, and PPAR-γ is one of the phenotypes of PPARs. The effect of PPAR-γ on inhibiting renal fibrosis has become a hot spot. In this article the research advances of PPAR-γ in amelioration of renal fibrosis are reviewed.
9.Mixed prostatic carcinoma: a report of 5 patients and literature review
Journal of Central South University(Medical Sciences) 2009;34(7):646-650
Objective To improve the awareness of rare mixed prostatic carcinoma. Methods We reviewed the clinical data of 5 patients with prostatic mixed tumor and relevant literature to ex-plore diagnosis and treatment for it. Results Patient 1 with mixed small cell carcinoma and adeno-carcinoma of the prostate who underwent transurethral electrovaporization of the prostate (TUVP) and flumamide therapy died of lung metastasis 7 months later. Patient 2 with mixed small cell carcinoma and adenocarcinoma of the prostate who underwent TUVP and bilateral testicular resection died of lung metastasis 10 months later. Patient 3 with adenosquamous carcinoma of the prostate who underwent TUVP, radiation therapy and flumamide therapy died of multiple organ failure 8 months later because of the lung, liver, and multiple bone metastasis. Patient 4 with prostatic adenosquamous carcinoma who underwent cystoprostatectomy combined with urinary diversion has already survived for 1 year. Patient 5 with prostatic carcinosarcoma who underwent cystoprostatectomy, urinary diversion, pelvic lymphadenectomy, and radiation therapy died of lung metastasis 13 months later. Conclusion Mixed prostatic carcinoma is quite aggressive with bad prognosis. Its diagnosis relies on detailed pathological examination and immunohistochemical techniques. Patients with prostate adenocarcinoma should be followed up timely after endocrine treatment or radiotherapy. Radical surgery is most effective for mixed prostatic carcinoma.
10.Advances in the pathogenesis of primary intrahepatic cholelithiasis
Chinese Journal of Hepatobiliary Surgery 2011;17(2):168-170
Primary intrahepatic stone is a common disease in China. It is difficult to treat this benign biliary tract disease because it has many complications and the surgery is difficult. Understanding the cause of this disease has important implications in prevention and treatment. This article reviewed the cause of primary intrahepatic stone from four aspects: imbalance of bile components, infection, bile protein, and macromolecular and metabolism of the cells.
