5.Molecular mechanism of autophagy in autoimmune disease
International Journal of Pediatrics 2016;43(1):5-8,9
Rheumatoid arthritis ( RA ) and systemic lupus erythematosus ( SLE ) are the most important and typical autoimmune diseases, however their exact mechanisms has not yet been clear. Autohpagy,a highly conserved process, depends on catabolism of lysosomal degradation of macromolecules or organelles within the cell itself. Autophagy exists widely in various tissues and is involved in maintaining survival and differentiation of cell or the stablility of internal environment. Recently, autophagy has gained wider attention and been one of the hot points of relative reserches. In this review we′ll sum up the development of autophagy in RA and SLE.

Objective To investigate the clinical application and curative effect of Carbon Nano-particles in curative resection of mid-low rectal cancer .Methods 26 patients with mid-low rectal cancer were divided equally into carbon nano-particle group and routine group .The labeling group were injected with carbon nano-particles 20~24 hours before operation and treated with TME laparoscopic radical resection .The data of lymph nodes detected in the two groups were compared .Results (1)Total number of lymph nodes detected in the labeling group was higher than that of the routine group (287 vs .124 ,P<0 .05) .(2)The labeling group had higher average lymph nodes detected per patient (22 .12 ± 3 .50 vs .9 .56 ± 1 .50 ,P< 0 .05) ,as well as higher average lymph nodes smaller than 5mm per patient(9 .18 ± 1 .41 vs .3 .50 ± 0 .82 ,P<0 .05) .(3)The metastasis rate of lymph nodes detected in la-beling group lacked statistical significance as compared with that of the routine group (3 .10 ± 0 .37 vs .2 .62 ± 0 .25 ,P>0 .05) .Con-clusion Adoption of carbon nano-particle in curative resection of rectal cancer can increase the number of lymph nodes detected ,re-veal more accurately the metastasis situation of lymph nodes ,facilitate the resection of lymph nodes and rectal cancer during the op-eration ,and provide guidance for postoperative clinical staging and treatment .
7.Effectiveness of filling ex vivo mandibular central incisor using bypassing root canal preparation with two kinds of warm gutter fillings and cold lateral condensation technique
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2010;14(16):2921-2924
BACKGROUND: The filling compactness can not be guaranteed due to apparatus retention in traditional lateral condensation. The warm gutter filling can achieve good results because of the easy changeable of gutta-percha in softening states.OBJECTIVE: To compare the warm gutta-percha fillings (Obtura Ⅱ and BeeFill 2 in1 filling) and cold lateral compacted gutta-percha with the bypassing root canal preparation in the intracanal separated instrument of oval canal.METHODS: Firstlythe 60 oval root canals of fiat mandibular central incisors were randomly divided into three groups, with 20 teeth in each group. After that, the root canal was filled with BeeFill 2 in1, Obtura Ⅱ condensation, and lateral condensation. The percentage of void at 5-mm to root tip versus cress section area was observed under a scanning electron microscope.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Under in vitro condition, the difference of percentage of void area versus root canal area between the Obtura Ⅱ condensation group and the lateral condensation group had significance (P=0.013), and the similar difference could be found between the BeeFill 2 in1 condensation group and the lateral condensation group (P=0.014), but the difference had no significance between the BeeFill 2 in1 condensation group and the Obtura Ⅱ condensation group (P=0.088).The results revealed that the root canal can be sealed accurately when establish hypass root next to the separated instrument and filled with BeeFill 2 in1 warm gutter filling.
8.Epstein-Barr virus and inflammatory bowel disease
Journal of Chinese Physician 2016;18(9):1281-1284
Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) is the first human virus related to oncogenesis.EBV infection is associated with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) with unknown causality. The prevalence of EBV in intestinal tissue from patients with IBD is significantly higher and related to the exacerbation of the disease and refractory IBD.Immunosuppressive therapy has improved outcomes associated with IBD.However,it is also associated with an increased risk of opportunistic infection, and lymphoproliferative disorders (LDs) maybe due to EBV infection. Here we review our current understanding of the pathogenesis of EBV infection in colonic mucosal inflammation,EBV-induced disease exacerbation, lymphomagenesis in IBD,and clinical approaches therefrom.
