1.The application of hedging in academic medical English papers
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2015;14(10):1012-1015
Hedging is an important component of vague language. This paper retrieves high frequency expressions of hedgingby using medical English corpus. Pragmatic functions of hedging are analyzed, which can be summarized as politeness principle, authors' self-protection, avoidance of the absolute, pursuit of objectiveness as well as conversational implication. To medical researchers, it is necessary to cultivate the awareness of hedging and learn how to adopt it in their research papers.
2.The analysis of the risk factors of the pulmonary fibrosis patients with pulmonary fungal infection
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2011;18(18):2485-2486
ObjectiveTo investigate the risk factors, prevention measures and treatment methods of the pulmonary fibrosis patients with nosocomial pulmonary fungal infection. Methods50 pulmonary fibrosis patients with nosocomial pulmonary fungal infection were chosen as the observation group. In the same time,50 pulmonary fibrosis patients without nosocomial pulmonary fungal infection were chosen as the control group. The following factors were compared: hospital stay, corticosteroid use, antibiotic use, invasive procedures, a merger of the underlying disease.ResultsThere were 46% (23/50) patients had long-term use of antibiotics in the observation group, much more than the control group(26% ,13/50) ,the difference was statistically significant( P <0.05) ;More than half of patients in both groups using glucocorticoids, the ratio in the observation group was 84% (42/50), which was significantly higher than the control group( P < 0.05) ; In the observation group, the rates of patients with long time hospitalization ( ≥30 days), received invasive procedures, and associated with underlying diseases were much higher than the control group( all P < 0.05). ConclusionMultiple risk factors could lead to the occurrence of pulmonary fibrosis patients with nosocomial pulmonary fungal infection, and the positive and effective preventions and standard treatment should be taken.
3.Progress of methotrexate combined with other drugs for treatment of primary central nervous system lymphoma
Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2017;26(6):375-379
Primary central nervous system lymphoma (PCNSL) is a rare type of extranodal lymphoma, and its incidence rate is increasing nowadays. Chemotherapy is the main means for treatment of PCNSL and the efficacy of high-dose methotrexate (HD-MTX) has been confirmed among those chemotherapeutics. Treatments of HD-MTX combined with other drugs have been studied extensively. Progress of HD-MTX and other drugs for PCNSL are reviewed in this article.
4.Application of permanent needle of deep venipuncture to first aid of extensive burn
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2003;0(10):-
Objective:To explore the clinical application of permanent needle of deep venipuncture in early management of extensive burn.Methods:88 patients with extensively burn are analyzed. Results:The success rate of venipuncture was 96%.The effect was satisfactory, while the complication was less. Conclusion:The permanent needle of deep venipuncture shows an important role in early management of extensive burn.
6.Application of cyclosporine A in noninfectious uveitis
Recent Advances in Ophthalmology 2017;37(3):293-297
Uveitis is a kind of refractory blinding eye diseases.Noninfectious uveitis is an important part of uveitis, which is thought to be an autoimmune disease, and systemic immunosuppressive therapy is usually required to prevent visual loss.As a selective T-cell inhibitor, cyclosporine A is one of the most widely used immunosuppressants, and has obvious therapeutic effect on many kinds of uveitis.Cyclosporine A combined with glucocorticoid, other immunosuppressants or biological agents can improve the therapeutic effect and reduce the side effects.Recently, the inhibitory effect on glucocorticoid-resistant Th17 cells and topical application of cyclosporine A,show its advantage and potential in the treatment of noninfectious uveitis.
8.Temporal and spatial distribution of TGF-β in corneal wound healing
Recent Advances in Ophthalmology 2017;37(2):184-188
Fibrosis is the major cause of corneal scarring.Transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-β) plays a key role in corneal homeostasis and repair.Corneal epithelial basement membrane is thought to be the important barrier of corneal epitheliumstroma interaction. In different stages of corneal wound healing, the isoforms of TGF-β have different temporal and spatial expression. The integrity of basement membrane is a critical factor of these procedures. The temporal and spatial distributions of TGF-β isoforms play the crucial roles in cell migration, proliferation, phenotype changes and deposition of extracellular matrix in corneal wound healing. It is the mechanism of corneal scarring and scar-free healing. This article reviews recent articles to elucidate the biological functions of TGF-β and the temporal and spatial distribution of its isoforms in corneal wound healing.
9.Preparation of chitosan-5-fluorouracil nanometer particle and its drug-release characters
Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1982;0(01):-
Objective To prepare the nanometer particles (NPs) of chitosan-5-fluorouracil (5-FU), and to study its characters of drug release in vivo. Methods Cross-linking polymer technique was employed to prepare the chitosan-5-FU NPs, and their characters were detected by scanning electron microscope and photon correlation spectroscope (PCS); the loaded capacity was measured by ultraviolet spectrophotometry; high-performance liquid chromatography was used to detect the characters of drug release in vivo. Results The chitosan-5-FU-NPs were found to be round or elliptic in shape, with 120 to 150nm in diameter and having a good dispersive ability. The loaded capacity was 31.000%?0.001%. The blood concentration of 5-FU was controlled at 76?g/L, and it was maintained for 48h. Conclusion As a vehicle, chitosan-5-FU NPs can change the behavior of pharmacokinetics and prolong the cycle time of 5-FU in vivo. Chitosan-5-FU NPs ran reduce the initial burst and prolong the releasing time.
10.PROTECTIVE EFFECT OF PHENCYCLIDINE ON ACUTE CEREBRAL ISCHEMIA OF RABBIT-ANALYSIS OF BETA- ENDORPHIN IMMUNOREACTIVITY IN CEREBROSPINAL FLUID
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1987;0(02):-
Acute cerebral ischemia and reperfusion injury of rabbits was produced by permanently occluding the vertebral arteries and temporarily clamping the common carotid arteries for 30 min. Beta-endorphin immunoreactive substance ( ir beta-endorphin ) content were measured in cerebrospinal fluid at pre-ischemia and after ischemia and reperfusion stages. In control group, the content of ir beta-endorphin significantly increased (1.01?0.52 mg/L, P
