International Journal of Surgery 2015;42(7):484-488
Laparoscope has been widely recognized as a treatment of distal gastric cancer.Totally laparoscopic distal gastrectomy and laparoscopy-assisted distal gastrectomy are two main types of laparoscopic distal gastrectomy.Apart from a smaller incision, some other advantages which totally laparoscopic distal gastrectomy has is the key point for further study. The thesis aims to compare totally laparoscopic distal gastrectomy to laparoscopy-assisted distal gastrectomy, and to analyze the characteristic in the aspect of operation time, the degree of pain, postoperative complications and the time of gastrointestinal recovery via collecting a great quantity of literatures.

Objective To investigate the quantity and species distribution of diatoms in Chuanyang River of Pudong new area of Shanghai and provide references for the invesitigation of water body in forensic practice. Methods The water samples collected from 15 areas in Chuanyang River of Pudong new area in September 2012 were examined by microscope to identify the species of diatoms. Results Cyclotella and Pinnularia were found to be the dominant species within the 12 species of diatoms in Chuanyang River, which showed differences in species among the sections of Huangpu River, the center and the East China Sea. Conclusion The differences in subsectional distribution of diatom species in Chuanyang River may provide a new foundation for forensic identification in drowning cases especially in the deter-mination of falling location.

Objective To get photoacoustic (PA) image of vascular structure inside mouse brain in vivo. Methods A 532nm pulsed laser was used as the pumping source to generate PA signal, and a wide-band PVDF unfocused ultrasound transducer was used to collect time-domain PA signal by circular scan.PA signal recorded at each scanning position was then de-noised by wavelets transform using soft-thresholding.The PA image of the mouse brain vessel was reconstructed by time-domain spherical back projection algorithm. Results PA image agreed well with the histological picture of mouse brain vessel. Conclusion The experimental result indicates the potential value of clinical application.

Gastric cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors in China, with a high incidence and poor prognosis. It is still the focus of current work to improve the diagnosis rate and investigate the new treatment for gastric cancer. In recent years, intelligent medicine represented by artificial intelligence has been gradually applied in gastric cancer diagnosis and treatment, especially in gastroscopy examination, imaging examination, pathological diagnosis and so on. In terms of minimally invasive surgery for gastric cancer, the emergence of new technologies such as 4K and 3D have further improved the accuracy of surgery. At the same time, laparoscopic fluorescence imaging technology represented by indocyanine green imaging is gradually becoming a new direction for the development of minimally invasive surgery. Combined with the literature at home and abroad, the authors expound the application of minimally invasive intelligent technology in the process of diagnosis and treatment of gastric cancer to fully understand the opportunities and challenges faced by gastric cancer intelligent diagnosis and treatment, break the boundaries of disciplines, and carry out a wide range of 'medical-engineering integration′ research. This will finally benefit patients with gastric cancer.

Objective:To investigate the radiosensitization and the cell-cycle of mild hyperthermia(≤42℃)on human pulmonary adenocarcinoma cell line SPC-A-1 in vitro. Methods: The human pulmonary adenocarcinoma cell line SPC-A were treated with radiation and the combination of radiation with mild hyperthermia. Radiosensitivity was determined by clonogenic assay and quantified by calculating the thermal enhancement ratio (TER). Flow cytometry was used to observe the cell-cycle. Results: Do, Dq calculated from the dose-response curve for radiation combined with 41.5℃ were 1.390 Gy, 1.426 Gy, whereas 1.693 Gy, 2.453 Gy for radiation alone, respectively. TER was 1.218. The proportion of cells in S phase was found to be 14.81% in the radiation group. The values, after 48 hours and 72 hours, with 6Gy radiation combined immediate 41.5℃ one hour mild hyperthermia, were 5.89% and 9.08%, respectively, versus 18.8% and 31.91% with 6 Gy radiation alone. Conclusion:Radiosensitization of mild hyperthermia in SPC-A-1 cells associated with the hyper-radiosensitization of the cells in S phase.

Aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AHR) is a ligand-activated transcription factor, which can be ac-tivated by the binding of exogenous atyl hydrocarbon chemicals, then increase many metabolic enzymes and their activity, and oncogenic products of metabolism increase, ultimately resulting in occurrence of tumor. Herein, we mainly review the fundamental concept of AHR and its relationship with tumor.

China Pharmacy 2016;27(30):4285-4287
OBJECTIVE:To establish the quality standards for Fufang ningshen granule. METHODS:TLC was used for the qualitative identification of Radix angelicae and White paenoy;HPLC was adopted for the contents determination of spinosin and verbascoside:the column was Kromasil C18 with the mobile phase of acetonitrile-0.1% acetic acid(16∶84,V/V)at a flow rate of 1.0 ml/min,detection wavelength was 330 nm,column temerpature was 30 ℃. RESULTS:The TLC spots of R. angelicae and W. pae-noy were clear with good separation, negative control without interference. The linear range was 0.055 44-0.277 2μg for spinosin(r=0.999 4)and 0.055 98-0.279 9 μg for verbascoside(r=0.999 5);RSDs of precision, stability and reproducibility tests were lower than 3.0%;recoveries were 95.62%-100.53%(RSD=1.77%,n=9) and 95.63%-102.57%(RSD=2.74%,n=9). CONCLU-SIONS:The standard can be used for the quality control of Fufang ningshen granule.

Objective To investigate the clinical features, treatment, prognosis, and occurrence of neurogenic pulmonary edema(NPE) in children with severe hand-foot-mouth disease (HFMD) complicated with brain stem encephalitis and abnormal cranial magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).Methods 386 cases of severe HFMD were hospitalized in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) from May to October 2010,of which 24 cases had abnormal cranial MRI.Their clinical symptoms,MRI features, treatment, and prognosis were analyzed. Results The clinical symptoms of severe HFMD with brainstem encephalitis included fever, startle, lethargy, vomiting, difficulty swallowing, drooling, and so on.The patients with abnormal cranial MRI were prone to have a neurogenic pulmonary edema (NPE) (5% vs 6.5%,x2 =34.55,P <0.01).Conclusions The nervous system-affected parts of severe HFMD is the brain stem, thalamus, and spinal cord.Brain stem inflammation can be found early by the cranial MRI to be highly vigilant of NPE.During course of 1 ~ 5 day, special attention should be paid to the symptoms of the nervous system. The early detection, timely intervention, and prevention from NPE would result in the good prognosis.
