Journal of International Oncology 2010;37(5):371-375
Triple negative breast cancer(TNBC) is defined by the lack of estrogen receptor (ER) , progesterone receptor (PR) and human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 ( Her-2) expression. It is a subtype of tumor with distinct clinical and pathologic features and lacks effective targeted therapies. It is non - sensitive to endocrine therapy and targeted therapy drug herceptin, leaving chemotherapy as the mainstay of treatment The feature and the treatment of TNBC is the hotspot of resent research.
2.New perspectives of glycogen storage disease
International Journal of Pediatrics 2011;38(1):62-65
Glycogen storage diseases (GSD) are a group of inherited disorders characterized by enzyme defects that affect the glycogen metabolism. Hypoglycemia, hepatomegaly, splenomegaly and growth retardation are the main clinical manifestations. The enzymes affecting glycogen synthesis and degradation are varied.Consequently, the clinical manifestations are different because of different enzyme defection. Most patients treated regularly can obtain the normal growth and grow to adults, but still can be accompanied long-term complications by adulthood. Now some scientists find new modified cornstarch is superior to standard therapy in maintaining blood glucose levels. Gene therapy is still in the experimental animals.
3.C-terminal proteomics: strategies for characterization of protein C-terminus using MS-based techniques.
Chinese Journal of Biotechnology 2014;30(7):1083-1093
C-termini of proteins often play an important role in various biological processes, such as the transcription and translation from DNA to protein and also participating in various biological regulations. The determination of protein C-terminus is so crucial because it provides not only distinct functional annotation, but also a way to monitor the proteolysis-modified proteins. Based on the biological mass spectrometry, a series of novel methods and technologies were developed both for qualitative and quantitative analyses of protein C-terminus. These methods or technologies can be applied to accurate and effective protein C-terminus profiling, including the sequences and quantitative information of C-termini, which reveals the biological function of C-termini in life's activities and provides a better understanding of the degradation of mature proteins. Combined with our research, this review highlights the improvements in C-terminal proteomics study in the past decades, including the methodologies for recognition and identification of C-terminus, as well as the enrichment strategies for protein C-terminus.

Chinese Journal of Neurology 2015;48(12):1052-1056
Objective To investigate the incidence of adult epilepsy patients with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and the characteristics of ADHD subtypes, and to explore the correlations between several epilepsy-related factors with ADHD.Methods According to corresponding inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria, 156 adult epilepsy patients who visited to Neurology Clinic of Zhejiang Hospital and the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University from March 2014 to October 2014 were enrolled as a study group to enter this test.Eighty-six nomal adults were enrolled as the control group who matched for the age, gender, inteligence quotient with the study group.Using the chi-square test and Logistic regression analysis and the other statistical methods to analyze the phenomenon of ADHD in adults with epilepsy and the factors that may contribute to the phenomenon. Results The detection rate of ADHD in 156 adult patients with epilepsy was 26.9% (42/156), significantly higher than that in the heathly control group which was 4.7% (4/86, x2 =17.862, P < 0.05).Symptomatic epilepsy and the electroencephalogram showed multifocal discharge had higher detection rate of comorbid ADHD and the difference was statistically significant (The detection rate of idiophathic epilepsy was 22.1% (21/95), symptomatic epilepsy was 46.7% (14/30), cryptogenic epilepsy was 22.6% (7/31), x2 =7.362, P =0.025.The detection rate of frontal epileptiform discharges was 30.6% (11/36), temporal area was 25.9% (14/54), central area was 18.2% (4/22), multifocal epileptiform discharges was 46.2% (12/26), the normal was 1/18, x2 =10.187, P =0.037).The results of binary Logistic regression analysis showed that epilepsy age of onset (B =-0.889, P =0.049) was possibly an important factor for epilepsy with ADHD.Conclusions The risk of ADHD occurred in adults with epilepsy is higher than that in the healthy adults and attention-deficit is the common subtype. The etiology, age of onset and electroencephalogram features of adults with epilepsy may be associated with the occurrence of ADHD.
5.Application of Psycho-Cardiology in Patients with Heart Failure Complicated with Depressive Disorder
Tianjin Medical Journal 2014;(6):575-577
Obiective To explore the application of psycho-cardiology in patients with chronic heart failture compli-cated with depressive disorder. Methods Hospitalized patients with chronic heart failture were assessed with PHQ-9 and PHQ-2 health questionnaire. A total of 80 patients with depressive disorder were selected and randomly divided into routine treatment group (n=40, received routine medication) and intervention group (n=40, application of psycho-cardiology based on routine medication). After three months, changes of scores before and after therapy were statistically analyzed in these two groups. Results Compared with routine treatment group, total scores of PHQ-9 significantly decreased in intervention group (P<0.01). LVEF, BNP and CRP improved in both groups after intervention (P<0.05), which were more prominent in intervention group compared with routine treatment group (P < 0.05). Conclusion Psycho-cardiology can treat chronic heart faiture and solve psychological problems of patients and provide comprehensive rehabilitation to patients.
