To compare and understand the trends in quality control data changes in public and private medical institutions specializing in plastic and aesthetic major in China over the past three years. The national quality control center of plastic and aesthetic major formulated quality control indicators, collected indicator data through the National Clinical Improvement System, conducted feedback verification on the data, organized and summarized the final data, and convened expert committees to analyze the data change trends. In the past three years, the number of both public and private medical institutions specializing in plastic and aesthetic major has shown an upward trend. The number of doctors increased significantly in 2022, with over 90% of doctors in public institutions (about 70% in private institutions) receiving higher education. In recent years, the proportion of doctors from other specialties engaging in plastic and aesthetic activities has increased. The proportion of inpatients seeking aesthetic treatments has also increased. Among outpatient patients, the proportion of injection procedures was relatively low. About one-third of private medical institutions have not yet adopted an electronic medical record system. Data feedback is the cornerstone of medical quality control in Chinese plastic and aesthetic major. Existing data indicates that the related industry is developing steadily, but there is still room for improvement in terms of some indicator data. However, due to the limited data from private medical institutions, it is still necessary to encourage them to improve their reporting enthusiasm in order to conduct a more comprehensive assessment in the future.

To construct a quality control indicators system for Chinese plastic and aesthetic major and lay foundation for medical quality control. National Quality Control Center of Plastic and Aesthetic Major established a working group in February 2023. Guided by the "structure-process-outcome" theory, the working group formulated medical quality control indicators for Plastic and Aesthetic major by learning from relevant indicators of other majors, reviewing literature, discussing in meetings, and combining opinions from quality control experts. The quality control indicators system was finally established by Delphi expert consultation. Delphi survey was 100% of 2 rounds. The authorities of 2 rounds of expert consultation were 0.854 and 0.857. The harmonious coefficients were 0.387 of primary indicators and 0.425 of secondary indicators( The quality control indicators system established in this study for Plastic and Aesthetic major in China has a certain degree of scientificity and rationality, which offers reference for medical quality control of Plastic and Aesthetic major in China. However, this system should be improved and ameliorated in practical application.

Chinese Journal of Plastic Surgery 2019;35(8):741-747
Objective:
To study the morphological characteristics and important anatomical structures of each soft tissue layer of gluteal region, and discuss the recommended levels and safe areas for liposculpture in this region.
Methods:
Twenty-eight specimens of unilateral buttocks from 14 adult cadavers, including 16 specimens of unilateral buttocks from 8 fresh cadavers and 12 specimens from 6 formaldehyde fixed cadavers were dissected. Among the cadavers, there were 2 males with an average age of 49 years, and 12 females from 23 to 72 years old, median age 46 years. Through anatomy study of soft tissue layers of gluteal region, the morphological features of each layer were observed and documented, and the characteristics of fascia system and adipose tissue, as well as the relationship between the blood vessels and nerves with corresponding layers.
Results:
The layers of the gluteal region that range from superficial to deep are skin, subcutaneous fat, superficial fascia system, deep fascia system, muscle and fascia compartments. Subcutaneous fat is distributed in superficial and deep layers; the superficial fascia system is well developed and dense with a layered structure; the deep fascia is thin with the characteristic of epimysium. There is a danger zone for deep fat graft in the gluteal region, with its apex at the first sacral vertebra, and its base goes along the gluteal fold, compromising the thighs′ medial two-thirds. Nearly all important blood vessels and nerves of gluteal region are located in deep layer of this danger zone.
Conclusions
Based on the characteristics of buttocks of Chinese people, liposuction is mainly performed in the iliolumbar region and posterolateral thigh, which can significantly increase the relative height and fullness of buttocks. For full buttocks, deep fat can be sucked appropriately, which should be longitudinal and gentle to reduce the damage to the superficial fascial system. There is a high risk for fat graft in the buttock. It is recommended to use a blunt needle with an inner diameter of more than 3 mm parallel to the fiber orientation of gluteus maximus for uniform fan-shaped injection with needle withdrawal. Satisfactory result can be obtained by injecting most fat into the subcutaneous adipose layer. Deep injection of grafts into dangerzoneis forbidden.

Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine 2020;17(6):863-874
BACKGROUND:
Due to adipose-derived stem cells (ASCs) being easy to obtain, their rapid proliferation rate, and their multidirectional differentiation capabilities, they have been widely used in the field of regenerative medicine. With the progress of decellularized adipose tissue (DAT) and adipose tissue engineering research, the role of DAT in promoting angiogenesis has gradually been emphasized.
METHODS:
We examined the biological characteristics and biosafety of DAT and evaluated the stem cell maintenance ability and promotion of growth factor secretion through conducting in vitro and in vivo studies.
RESULTS:
The tested ASCs showed high rat:es of proliferation and adhered well to DAT. The expression levels of essential genes for cell stem maintenance, including OCT4, SOX2, and Nanog were low at 2–24 h and much higher at 48 and 96 h. The Adipogenic expression level of markers for ASCs proliferation including PPARγ, C/EPBα, and LPL increased from 2 to 96 h. Co-culture of ASCs and DAT increased the secretion of local growth factors, such as VEGF, PDGF-bb, bFGF, HGF, EGF, and FDGF-bb, and secretion gradually increased from 0 to 48 h. A model of full-thickness skin defects on the back of nude mice was established, and the co-culture of ASCs and DAT showed the best in vivo treatment effect.
CONCLUSION
The application of DAT promotes wound healing, and DAT combined with ASCs may be a promising material in adipose tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.

Objective:The purpose of this study was to observe the anatomical features in the area of forehead and further to discuss precautions of forehead autologous fat injection. Methods:A total of 12 fresh adult cadaveric specimens (6 males and 6 females, 47.5±11.7 years old) were studied during January 2018 to December 2018. Combined with routine anatomy and microanatomy, forehead tissues were dissected to observe important structures and their surroundings. The important blood vessels and tissues thickness were measured by electronic vernier caliper. Results:The forehead is composed of skin, subcutaneous adipose tissue, superficial musculoaponeurotic system(SMAS), loose connective tissue and periosteum. There are three superficial fat compartments. The width and length of superficial central forehead compartments is(2.17±0.27) cm and(4.16±0.38) cm. The width and length of left superficial lateral forehead compartments is(2.09±0.31) cm and(3.65±0.39) cm and right superficial lateral forehead compartments is(2.14±0.29) cm and(3.18±0.55) cm. The three deep fat compartments shape is similar to superficial fat compartments. It is an avascular layer.Retro-orbicularis oculi fat lies deep to the supraorbital area with the thickness is (2.58±0.03) mm and the length is (2.55±0.05) mm. The blood supply of forehead is provided by the supratrochlear artery, the superaorbital artery and the superficial temporal artery with internal diameters of (1.01±0.16) mm, (0.85±0.12) mm and (1.35±0.15) mm, respectively. Conclusions:Forehead autologous fat transfer should be injected into the avascular forehead deep fat compartments. Avoiding injected into superficial fat compartments to avoid unnatural mask face. Because there are potential channels in the superficial central fat compartments and the area of the upper eyelid, it should be avoided to form periorbital migratory fat granuloma caused by postoperative acupressure.
