1.Imaging Diagnosis of Annular Pancreas in Newborn

Objective To evaluate the imaging findings of the annular pancreas in newborn and the diagnostic value.Methods Clinical data,X-ray and CT features of annular pancreas in 7 cases of newborn were retrospectively analyzed,and 6 cases were confirmed by operations.Results Abdominal erect position plain films were performed in six patients and showed typical "double bubble sign" without distal gas in 5 cases,with a little gas in 1 case.Seven patients underwent upper gastrointestinal contrast studies and showed stenosis of the descending duodenum like "the thin striation",and contrast agent passed with difficulty.There were soft tissue shadows encircling the descending duodenum in 4 cases on CT plain scans,in which 3 cases showed stenosis of the descending duodenum like "the mouse tail",and the soft tissue shadows obviously enhanced the same as enhanced pancreas on contrast-enhanced CT scans.Conclusion The annular pancreas in newborn are of characteristics at imageology.
2.The Method and Evaluation of Measurement of Hip Joint in the Gluteal Muscle Contracture in Children

Objective To evaluate the effect on the development of hip joint by gluteal muscle contracture and to study the significance of early surgical treatment for this disease.Methods X-ray films of pelvis in 102 cases with gluteal muscle contracture were taken before surgical treatment.The acetabular index,the neck-shaft angle and the acetabular-head index(AHI) were measured.Results The neck shaft angle(x=149.64) and the CE angle(x=34.12) were increased,the acetabular-head index(x=72.3%) was decreased,and the acetabulainr index(x=13.6) was normal.Conclusion The gluteal muscle contracture can causes coxa valga and subluxation of the hip joint,early surgical treatment is needed.
3.Fingerprint Determination of Panax Notoginseng by LC/MS

The fingerprints of Panax Notoginseng medicinal material,intermediate product and injection were detected and 75% ethanol was confirmed as the most suitable extracting solution. Notoginsenoside R 1 and ginsenoside R g1, R f, Rb 1, R d, R e etc. were indentified by LC/MS technigue. The fingerprints of medicinal material, intermediate product and injection were compared with each other.
4.THE OBSERVATION OF ULTRASTRACTURAL LOCALIZATION OF ALKALINE PHOSPHATASE IN CANCEROUS AND PRECANCEROUS ENDOMETRIUM

Ultrastructural localization of alkaline phosphatase (AKP) was observed with histochemical method in 10 cases of endometrium. AKP was localized on plasma membranes of glandular cells in normal proliferative and adenomatous hyperplastic endometrium. Uhrastractural、locatization of AKP has no significant change in endometrial cancer. In differentiated endometrial cancer AKP was predominantly localized on microvilli and apical plasma membranes of tumor cells which were adjacent to glandular cavity; and in undifferentiated cancer AKP was evenly distributed on plasma membaanes of tumor cells.
5.Laparoscopic cholecystectomy combined with laparoscopic appendectomy: a report of 130 Cases

Objective To study the feasibility of laparoscopic cholecystectomy(LC)combined with laparoscopic appendectomy(LA).Methods One hundred and thirty patients of cholecystitis with acute appendicitis or chronic appendicitis were treated by LC combined with LA at the same operation.Results One hundred and tweent-nine cases were operated successfully.1 case was converted to open operation .No complications occurred in this series.Conclusions LC combined with LA in treating patients with cholesystitis combined with acute appendicitis or chronic appendicitis is a preferable method.
6.The clinical analysis of 157 cases with colorectal polyps treated by endoscopic therapy

Objective To analyze the clinical feature,the endoscopic treatment,therapy of complication of colorectal polyps.Methods According to polyps'size,location and shape in 157 patients with colorectal polyps,corresponding endoscopic treatment method was selected and observed the complication of the endoscopic treatment and therapeutic efficacy.Results 219 colorectal polyps were found in 157 patients.Colorectal polyps occurred frequently in rectum and sigmoid colon.Moreover,inflammatory polyps and hyperplastic polyp were the majority,and a small portion of polyps may turn cancerous.By using endoscopic therapy,hemorrhage was found in 12 samples,and the bleeding ratio was only 5.5%.Conclusion A diversity of methods used in endoscopic therapy of colorectal polyps is safe,efficient,resulting in less complications.
7.Preparation and characterization of poly (lactic-co-glycolic acid) microspheres containing RGD-hirudin

Purpose The main purposes of our research were to: 1. set up the method of the RGDHirudin microsphere preparation; 2. set up the method to test the activity and the content of the medicine contained in the microsphere; 3. analyse the key factors on the quality of the microsphere preparation. Methods Co-poly lactic acid glycolic acid (PLGA) microsphere was prepared by a modified solvent evaporation method by a double emulsion with the use of polyvinylalcohol (PVA) as emulsification; PLGA was used as biodegradable material and dichloromethane as organic solvent. The influence of formulation factors including the W1/O on microsphere diameter distribution and yield coefficient;PVA concentration on microsphere appearance, encapsulation and yield coefficient; ultrasound on spherulization average and medicine activity; stirring speed on spherulization average and microsphere appearance; PLGA on microsphere appearance and microsphere dispersity; concentration of NaCl on encapsulation efficiency, yield coefficient and medicine content etc were studied. Results The size of all the fabricated microsphere was measured according to the several factors that affect the particle size. The average diameter was 81.38 μm, which is good for further research. The medicine content and the percent yield of all the microsphere was high, which ranged from 83. 92% - 96. 3% and 79.93% - 95.05% respectively. The encapsulation efficiency was about 23.95% - 65. 13%. We found that the concentration of the NaCl and PVA were the very important factors to the encapsulation efficiency. Physiological activity of RGD-Hirudin containing in the microsphere and the release rate of the microsphere were controlled. Furthermore, the release rate was stable. Conclusions The physiologic activity of RGD-Hirudin released from the microspheres was stable. PLGA-RGD-Hirudin microspheres were controlled released by the in vitro studies. Therefore, the in vivo experiment was well grounded.
8.Limited internal fixation with calcaneal traction to treat Pilon fracture

Objective To analyze the etiology and features of Pilon fractures and to explore their best operative method.Methods 92patients with pilon fracture were treated operatively and followed up between1991and 2001.According to the Ovadi a -Beals' s classification,there were 7cases of Type I fracture,12of II,30of III,26of IV,17of V.During the o peration,55patients had limited in ternal fixation with calcaneal trac-tion,18with calcaneal traction and plaster splint,10with tibial and fi bula internal fixation,9with external fixation apparatus.Results92patients were followed up for an av erage time of 53months(ranging from 4~103months).According to Mazur ' s criteria,the results of the treatm ent were rated as excellent in 42patients,good in 34,fair in 11and poor in 5.Conclusion The pilon fracture is caused by both t he force of falling from a high altitude and the force of rebounding which act in the distal end of tibia an d fibula.Limited internal fixation with calcaneal traction is a right choice of operative method to treat pilon fr actures.[
9.Homing ability of the SCA-1+/CD45+/CD31+ subgroup of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells

BACKGROUND:Since the FDA was the first to approve autologous bone marrow stem cel transplantation for treatment of myocardial infarction in 2003, there has a large number of clinical and basic research reports. However, their conclusions are different and stem cel homing is a key point. OBJECTIVE:To explore the homing abilities of different subgroups of mouse bone marrow mesenchymal stem cels in myocardial regeneration. METHODS:After mouse bone marrow mesenchymal stem cels were detected using a mouse cardiac stem cel surface differentiation antigen, four cel subgroups were separated on the basis of CD45 and CD31. The homing abilities of the four subgroups were assayed in a Transwel chamberin vitro. The different cel subgroups were injected into the model mice suffering from myocardial infarction for 48 hours. The mice were sacrificed at 48 hours, 96 hours, and 7 days after injection; the hearts were taken and analyzed through whole-body imaging and fluorescence intensity detection. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The SCA-1+/CD45+/CD31+ subgroup exhibited the strongest homing ability. The whole-body imaging indicated that the fluorescence intensity of SCA-1+/CD45+/CD31+ subgroup was higher than that of the other subgroups at 48 hours, 96 hours and 7 days after stem cel injection. The migration rate of SCA-1+/CD45+/CD31+ subgroup was also the highest. These findings indicate that the homing ability of the SCA-1+/CD45+/CD31+ subgroup of mouse bone marrow mesenchymal stem cels exhibit a homing trend to the damaged myocardial tissue.
10.Rabbit artery bypass grafting model by using vascular anastomosis wheel

Objective To establish a close clinical and easy to operate animal artery bypass grafting model by using vascular anastomosis wheel.Methods 15 rabbits that weighted 2.5-3.5 kg were studied.Each animal underwent an end-toend anastomosis of jugular vein and carotid artery by vascular anastomosis wheel.Carotid ultrasound and flow detection were taken immediately and 2 months after surgery respectively,as well as morphology and pathology were recorded to analyze and evaluate the intimal hyperplasia of vein graft and arteriovenous anastomotic site.Results 14 rabbits were successfully established CABG model,however 1 rabbit died of respiratory inhibition caused of excessive anesthesia.Compared with normal carotid artery,the vein bridge showed significantly lower blood flow [(50.81 ± 1.33) ml/min vs.(70.59 ± 0.68) ml/min,P <0.01,higher PI(2.15 ±0.07vs.1.22 ±0.04,P <0.01)] immediately after surgery.Compared with the vein grafts immediately after surgery,the vein grafts 2 months after surgery showed significantly lower blood flow [(27.46 ± 2.15) ml/min vs.(50.81 ± 1.33) ml/min,P < 0.01].Compared with normal jugular vein,the vein grafts 2 months after surgery showed significantly higher intimal hyperplasia[(160.30 ± 1.78) μm vs.(49.06 ± 2.76) μm,P < 0.01],and higher number of elastic plates(12.36 ± 0.25vs.3.21 ± 0.15,P < 0.01).Conclusion The use of vascular anastomosis wheel to establish an artery bypass graft model can imitate the pathological changes of vein grafts after CABG,which can provide an ideal animal model for various researches on vein grafts.
