Primitive neuroectodermal tumor (PNET) is a kind of malignant tumor, which most often affects children and adolescents. The incidence of PNET has risen recently. PNET has low early diagnosis rate and poor treatment effect. With the application of RT-PCR and FISH in pathological diagnosis, and MRI and PET-CT in imageological diagnosis, as well as the implementation of target treatment and multidisciplinary integrated treatment concept in the treatment, the pathogenesis, diagnosis technology and treatment means of of PNET have made remarkable progress.

The Viet Duc Hospital found 6 cases of the postoperative left gauze by ultrasound during 1997-1998. The diagnosis based on the clinical symptoms (infectious sign), operative history, position and size of foreign body. The foreign bodies found earliest in the 20th days and longest in the 4th years after an operation. The form, size and structure of the foreign bodies have not been changed through the round of examination.

Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) family consists of a group of secreted dimeric glycoprotein with a cysteine knot motif of regularly spaced eight cysteine residues,which plays a key role in vasculogenesis,angiogenesis and lymphangiogenesis via their special receptors.VEGF-A,one of VEGF families,is essential for vasculogenesis and angiogenesis.So inhibition of VEGF is available in the treatment of cancer and some diseases of pathological angiogenesis.Some studies imply that VEGF receptor-2 (VEGFR-2)is expressed in some nonvascular tissue and exerts an important role in the differentiation and survival of the cells.The expressions of VEGF and VEGFR-2 in lens epithelial cells(LECs) can be detected in the formation of lens vescle in embryo stage to adult.VEGF secreted by lens itself is concerned with the differentiation and development of lens via autocrine and paracrine.

The ketogenic diet has been used for the treatment of epilepsy for 90 years, it also has been introduced to our country for more than 10 years.Its clinical efficacy has been recognized,but its antiepilepsy mechanisms are still unclear.This paper reviews its possible antiepilepsy mechanisms from the ion channels, neurotransmitters, neuroprotection, adenosine, mTOR signaling pathway and immune factors.

Objective To establish a HPLC method for determining of the content of palmatine hydrochloride in Fuke Qianjin Tablets. Methods HPLC was performed on Shimadzu-C18 column. The mobile phase consisted of 0.05 mol·L-1 sodium acid phosphate (pH=3, adjusted by phosphoric acid)-acetonitrile (72 : 28). The detection wavelength was at 265 nm. Results The linear correlation was in the range of 0. 051 μg～0. 255 μg(r=0. 999 9). The average recovery was 100. 04 %, and RSD=1.03 % (n=5). Conclusion The method is accurate and specific.

Objective To explore application of GE Light speed 16 CT scanning technique in acute abdomen. Methods The technical parameters of GE Light speed 16 CT in acute abdomen were summarized systematically based on related studies. Results Logical scanning parameters can help to diagnose acute abdomen rapidly and accurately which should choose based on causes and positions about acute abdomen. Conclusion The technique of GE Light speed 16 CT scanning,based on individual characteristics of acute abdomen,is not only a rapid method for getting image material of acute abdomen and diagnosis,but also a reliable access to improve diagnostic accuracy.

Objective To study the CT findings in diagnosis of pulmonary mycosis and to improve its radiological diagnosis.Methods The CT findings of 32 cases of pulmonary mycosis were retrospectively analyzed,9 cases were confirmed by sur-gical pathology,13 cases were confirmed by sputum cultures,4 cases were confirmed by percutaneous needle lung biopsy,5 cases were confirmed by fibrobronchoscopy and brush biopsy,1 cases was confirmed by cerebrospinal fluid cultures.All of them were performed GE Light Speed 16 CT scan and reconstruction.Results Focus distribution: 10 cases in left lung,14 cases in right lung,11 cases in bilateral lung.Most of lesions are multiple,and they often can be found in inferior of bilateral lung.14 cases are solitary / multifocal mass or nodule(44%),9 cases are solitary or multiple patchy foci(28.4%),7 cases are patchy foci mixed with nodules(27.6%).Conclusion Pulmonary mycosis with characteristic mani-festation can be correctly diagnosed by CT scan.
