Social network is a type of structure of social actors by their relations.Human immunodeficiency virus(HIV)transmits among population followed a type of structural and non-random mode,so we use social network concept and socio-metric analysis to conduct HIV related research that may enhance the understanding and prediction of HIV epidemic patterns and intervention measures.

Five organic compounds were isolated from the marine sponge Axinyssa aplysi- noides collected from South China Sea. Their chemical structures were identified by UV, IR, NMR, and MS as 4-hydroxybenzaldehyde (I); (22E)-24,26,26-trimethylcholesta-6,22,25 (30)-trien-3?-ol(Ⅱ); 3- (17Z-tetracose-nyloxy)-1, 2-propanediol (Ⅲ); 24-isobutylcholesta-3, 25(31)-dien-3?－ol(Ⅳ); Uracil (V). It's the first report about the marine sponge Axinyssa aplysinoides from South China Sea.

Objective To investigate the expression of Brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF)and its receptors mRNAs in ovary tissues of letrozole-induced polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)in rats.Methods The SD rats were divided into two groups (moder group and control group),20 rats in each group.The rat models of PCOS were established by letrozole.Serum sex hormone levels were determined by radioimmunoassay.The histologic changes in ovaries were observed by Hematoxylin-eosin stai-ning,and the expression of BDNF and its receptors gene in ovary tissues was detected by Real-time PCR.Results Although the se-rum testosterone,follicle-stimulating hormone and luteinizing hormone levels in model group were markedly increased more than those in the control group (P < 0.01 ),estradiol and progesterone in model group showed a considerable reduction (P < 0.05 ). When compared with the control group,model group rats showed increased ovarian volume and high incidence of subcapsular ovari-an cysts together with decreased number of corpora lutea.The expression of BDNF and p75 mRNAs was significantly higher in model group than that in the control group(P <0.05),but the expression of TrkB mRNA reduced(P <0.05).Conclusion BDNF/TrkB/p75 expressed in ovarian tissues may play a specific role on follicular developmental disorders in letrozole-induced PCOS rats.

The acupoint selection was retrieved from the ancient and modern literature on the treatment of sub-healthy condition with acupuncture. The law of acupoint application was analyzed so as to provide a certain reference to the determination of acupoint prescription in clinical acupuncture. The ancient literature was retrieved from Chinese basic ancient literature database. The modern literature was retrieved from Cochrane Library, Medline, PubMed, Ovid evidence-based medicine database, Chinese biomedical literature database, China journal full-text database, VIP journal full-text database and Wanfang database. The database mining software was adopted to explore the law of acupoint application in treatment of sub-healthy conditions with ancient and modern acupuncture. The acupoint use frequency, compatibility association rule, law for meridian use and the use regularity of specific points were analyzed. In the ancient treatment for sub-healthy condition, the top five commonly used acupoints are Shenmen (HT 7), Zhaohai (KI 6), Taibai (SP 3), Daling (PC 7) and Taixi (KI 3). The most commonly combined points are Zhangmen (LR 13), Taibai (SP 3) and Zhaohai (KI 6). The most commonly used meridians are the bladder meridian of foot-taiyang, kidney meridian of foot-shaoyin and liver meridian of foot-jueyin. The most commonly used specific points are the five-shu points. The most commonly used acupoints are located in the lower limbs. In the modern treatment, the top five commonly used acupoints are Zusanli (ST 36), Sanyinjiao (SP 6), Baihui (GV 20), Shenshu (BL 23) and Guanyuan (CV 4). The most commonly supplemented points are Hegu (LI 4) and Taichong (LR 3). The most commonly used meridians are the bladder meridian of foot-taiyang, the conception vessel and the governor vessel. The most commonly used specific points are the back-shu points. The most commonly used acupoints are located in the lower limbs. After the systematic comprehension of the relevant ancient and modern literature, the most commonly used acupoints are selected along the bladder meridian of foot-taiyang, and the most commonly used specific points are the back-shu points, the five-shu points and the front-mu-points. the acupoints are mostly located in the lower limbs.

Objective To investigate expression of polysaccharides biosynthetic genes in biofilm formation in Pseudomonas aeruginosa PAO1. Methods Real-time RT-PCR was used to quantify mRNA to analyze their mRNA level during planktonic growth and biofilm cells. Results Analysis of the relative ex-pression levels indicated that the level of transcripts of planktonic pslA, algD, pelA was significantly lower than that of biofilms sessile growth in all other form bacteria. The levels of transcripts of pslA, algD, pelA were the highest at the first day of biofilms development. Conclusion From the observations in the present study, transcripts of the pslA, algD, pelA involved biofilm development.

The relationship of medical papers and growth tendency with medical and health funds in different countries of the world was studied by analyzing SCI-covered medical papers published in 2007-2016,which showed that medical and health field was one of the research hotspots in the world,the number of papers published by the top 10 countries showed a growth tendency,their medical and health funds were closely related with the production of scientific papers (r=0.99),and the compound growth rate of medical and health funds was closely related with that of the number of scientific papers (r=0.91).

Objective To investigate the risk factors for mild cognitive impairment (MCI) in elderly people in Beijing.Methods Using multistage cluster random sampling,129 elderly people aged 60-80 years living around Dongzhimen communities were interviewed by mini-mental state examination (MMSE) and National Institute of Neurological and Communicative Diseases and Stroke/ Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Association (NINCDS-ADRDA) criteria for screening MCI and Alzheimer's disease (AD).Results Thirty-seven cases (28.7%) had amnestic MCI (aMCI),thirty-six cases (27.9%) had AD,and fifty-six cases (43.4%) were with normal cognitive state (NCS).The age was older in aMCI patients or AD patients than in NCS[(67.6±7.5)y vs.(62.5±7.9)y,(67.6±7.5)y vs.(62.5±7.9)y,both P<0.01],Andthe aMCI or AD patients had low level of education (P<0.05).The blood pressure was higher in the patients suffered from aMCI or AD than in people with NCS more or less (P<0.05).The prevalence of aMCI was related to the body mass index (BMI) (P<0.05),while that of AD had no significant relation with BMI (P>0.05).The prevalence of aMCI or AD was not significantly different between male and female or between different birth months.(all P>0.05).Conclusions The prevalence of aMCI increases with age,lower level of education,higher level of blood pressure and BMI,while it has no significant relations with gender or birth month.

AIM: To study the relationship between the activity of phospholipase A 2 (PLA 2) and pulmonary structural remodeling with the model of chronic isobaric hypoxic pulmonary hypertension. METHODS: 29 healthy Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into normal control group, chronic hypoxic group and hypoxia plus Polidatin (PD) group. By diameter, the arteries were divided into two groups: arteries of group I (30 ?m-100 ?m) and group II (101 ?m-200 ?m). The mean pulmonary arterial pressure (mPAP) was measured by inserting a microcatheter into the pulmonary artery. The PLA 2 activity was measured with modified microtitrimetic method. The pulmonary tissue and arterioles morphology changes were examined under light microscope. RESULTS: It was found that after 21 days hypoxia, the mean pulmonary arterial pressure (mPAP), the PLA 2 activity in blood and lung homogenate increased significantly. Objective:To observe the effects of aging performance on the property of dental zirconia sintered by microwave furnace and conventional furnace.Methods:48 zirconia wafer specimens were fabricated and randomly divided equally into 2 groups.The samples were sintered in a microwave furnace(Mgroup)and a conventional furnace(C group)respectively.The samples from the 2 groups were divided into 2 sub-groups and treated by room temperature and dry condition(A group)and 1 34 ℃ with 0.2 MPa pres-sure(B group,accelerated aging)respectively.The m phase fraction of the samples was determined by X-ray diffraction analysis.The biaxial flexural strength was examined by universal testing machine.The fracture cross section was observed by SEM.Results:CB and MB groups showed higher m phase fraction than CA and MA groups(P <0.05).The grain size of zirconia sintered by microwave method was uniform.The fracture surface of zirconia showed no obvious crack and no grain size change after accelerated aging.The biaxial flexural strength of the samples showed no significant difference among groups(P >0.05).Conclusion:The aging perform-ance of zircinia sintered by microwave method were similar to that sintered by conventional method.

Objective To observe the localization of NG2 positive cells and morphological character in the brain of adult rats. Methods Immunohistochemical method was applied to determine the expression of NG2 positive cells in the cerebrum cortex, hippocampus, dentate gyrus, thalamencephalon and hypothalamus of adult rats. Image analysis program Image Pro Plus 5.0 was used to count the positive cells and for statistic analysis. Results NG2 positive cells were strongly expressed in multiple brain regions of adult rats, of which strongest signals were centralized in gray and white matter of cerebral cortex, hippocampus, dentate gyrus, thalamic subventricular zone and hypothalamic periventricular region. The NG2 positive cells were seen with abundant process arborization which bifurcated two or more times. The soma of NG2 positive cell displays a star-like morphology with different shapes in the gray and white matter of cerebrum cortex. Conclusion NG2 positive cells are numerous in adult rat brain and display the special glial with a stellate morphology.
