Objective:To analyze the value of Kang'ai injection on gastric cancer patients’ chemotherapy.Methods: Chosen gastric cancer patients with chemotherapy between December 2012 to December 2013 in our hospital as study subject, randomly divided into control group received conventional chemotherapy and observation groups received Kang'ai injection combine with chemotherapy, compared term effect after chemotherapy, immune function and quality of life scores.Results: 1)Observation group patients’ complete remission and partial remission after chemotherapy were significantly higher than control group patients(x2=2.471,x2=2.748;P<0.05); 2)Observation group patients’ IL-6, TNF-α, CD3+, CD4+ value was significantly higher than control group after receiving chemotherapy, CD8+ value was significantly lower than control group patients(t=2.627,t=2.462,t=2.748,t=2.846,t=2.735;P<0.05); 3)two groups of patients’ life quality scores before chemotherapy was no significant,after chemotherapy observation group patients’ life quality scores were significantly higher than control group patients(t=2.637,t=2.647,t=2.983;P<0.05).Conclusion: Kang'ai injection can significantly improve the effectiveness of chemotherapy in patients with gastric cancer,and optimize immune function, while improving the quality of life after chemotherapy.

ObjectiveTo observe the effect of Compound Anisodine Injection in the acupoint of the patients with cerebral infarction (CI) at recovery stage. Methods54 patients with CI at recovery stage were injected Compound Anisodine Injection into the acupoint Taiyang. They were assessed with the Ashworth Scales 0.5, 1, 2, 4, 8 h after injection. ResultsThe scores of Ashworth scale in affected sides reduced first and then reconverted after injection, but no changes in the health side. ConclusionThe Compound Anisodine Injection injecting into the acupoint Taiyang can reduce the muscular tension of paralytic limbs of patients with CI stroke at recovery stage.

Objective To investigate the risk factors for mild cognitive impairment (MCI) in elderly people in Beijing.Methods Using multistage cluster random sampling,129 elderly people aged 60-80 years living around Dongzhimen communities were interviewed by mini-mental state examination (MMSE) and National Institute of Neurological and Communicative Diseases and Stroke/ Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Association (NINCDS-ADRDA) criteria for screening MCI and Alzheimer's disease (AD).Results Thirty-seven cases (28.7%) had amnestic MCI (aMCI),thirty-six cases (27.9%) had AD,and fifty-six cases (43.4%) were with normal cognitive state (NCS).The age was older in aMCI patients or AD patients than in NCS[(67.6±7.5)y vs.(62.5±7.9)y,(67.6±7.5)y vs.(62.5±7.9)y,both P<0.01],Andthe aMCI or AD patients had low level of education (P<0.05).The blood pressure was higher in the patients suffered from aMCI or AD than in people with NCS more or less (P<0.05).The prevalence of aMCI was related to the body mass index (BMI) (P<0.05),while that of AD had no significant relation with BMI (P>0.05).The prevalence of aMCI or AD was not significantly different between male and female or between different birth months.(all P>0.05).Conclusions The prevalence of aMCI increases with age,lower level of education,higher level of blood pressure and BMI,while it has no significant relations with gender or birth month.

Objective To explore the diagnostic value of virtual bronchoscopic navigation (VBN) for peripheral pulmonary lesions. Methods 200 cases with peripheral pulmonary lesions (0.8 cm < diameter < 4.0 cm) were divided into VBN and control group from June 2014 to June 2015. VBN group: VBN guided ultrafine bronchoscope to the target bronchus, control group: ultrafine bronchoscopy with chest CT as a reference guided to the target bronchus. Results There were no significant differences in the diagnosis rates between VBN group and control group in 200 patients (χ2 = 3.31, P = 0.069); But, the diagnosis rates with diameter more than 2.0 cm and less than or equal to 2.0 cm had statistically significant differences of VBN group and control group (χ2 = 13.45, 5.31, P = 0.000, 0.021, respectively); We also found that the mean time of biopsy tool reach to the lesions had significant differences between the two groups (P = 0.047). There were no significant differences in total checking time and complications (P = 0.230, 0.960, respectively). Conclusions Virtual bronchoscopic navigation did not improve the diagnosis rate of pulmonary peripheral lesions, but shortened the time to locate the lesions.

Objective To establish biological detection method for Fuzheng Xiaoji capsule.MethodsTaken Radix astragali,Hedyotis diffusa Willd, Fructus Polygoni orientalis and rhubarb in Fuzheng Xiaoji capsule as targets, the antimicrobial activity of the single fried mixture of Radix astragali,Hedyotis diffusa Willd,Fructus Polygoni orientalis and rhubarb to 4 kinds of standard strains(Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella, Escherichia coli and Bacillus subtilis) were inspected.The standard curve by susceptible strains of the inhibition zone diameter and logarithm of the concentration was established,and this test also determined the biological potency of different batches of Fuzheng Xiaoji capsule according to the dose-response curve.ResultsThe single fried mixture of Radix astragali,Hedyotis diffusa Willd, Fructus Polygoni orientalis and rhubarb have strong anti-bacterial effect to the above four standard strains.There was a good linear relationship between logarithmic dose and response effect when the concentration in the range of 0.029-0.136g/mL(r=0.9583).ConclusionBiological potency detection method can be combined with traditional analysis methods to control the quality of Fuzheng Xiaoji capsule.

Objective To explore the treatment effect of potato homogenate on the treatment of drug extravasation during intravenous injection.Methods 320 cases of drug extravasation patients during the intravenous infusion were randomly divided into the potato homogenategroup,named group A; patato slice group named group B and magnesium sulfate group as group C.The group A,B and C were separately treated with the external application of potato homogenate,thin slice of fresh potato and 33％ magnesium sulfate.The therapeutic effects of the 3 groups were compared.Results The therapeutic effect of group A was superior to that of group B and C,and the healing time in group A was much shorter than that in group B and C,and group B was batter than group C,there was significant difference between the above comparison groups.Conclusions The therapeutic effect of external application of fresh potato in the treatment of extravasation injury caused by the drugs is remarkable.Potato homogenate can improve the treatment effect and shorten healing time when compared with potato slice.

Objective To investigate the adjuvant effect of intravenous immunoglobulin on patients with sepsis-associated thrombocytopenia. Methods A total of 229 patients with sepsis with platelet count less than 3 × 109/L, were included in this prospective, randomized, controlled study. The patients were divided into the intervening group and the control group. Conventional treatments were applied in the two both groups , while in the intervening group, intravenous immunoglobulin with a dose of 0.4 g/(kg·d) for 5 consecutive days was administered. The end-points were the platelet counts on day 1,day 3,day 5,and day 7 post-intravenous immunoglobulin, patients’ in-ICU time and the 28-day in-hospital mortality. Results Compared with the control group, the platelet count recovered dramatically after 5-day intravenous immunoglobulin in the intervening group. Moreover , the 28-day in-hospital mortality and in-ICU time were also dramatically improved in the intervening group. Conclusion Intravenous immunoglobulin can enhance the recovery of platelet counts , shorten the in-ICU time and reduce the hospital mortality in patients with sepsis- associated thrombocytopenia (PLT count < 30 × 109/L).

Objective To investigate the characteristics of health related quality of life(HR-QOL) in Chinese patients with early Parkinson' s disease(PD), to identify the motor and non-motor factors that are associated with a poorer quality of life in patients with early PD. Methods All 391 patients with early PD were identified in a clinical-based study. Motor functions were measured by Unified Parkinson' s Disease Rating Scale (UPDRS) and Hoehn-Yabr Scale. Non-motor variables were assessed by Center of Epidemiological Survey Depression Scale (CES-D) for depressive symptoms, Pittsburg Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) for sleep disturbance, Fatigue Severity Scale (FSS) for fatigue, Alzheimer' s Disease Assessment Scale-Cognitive Sections (ADAS-Cng) for cognitive function, and Constipation Severity Scale for constipation. HR-QOL was measured by SF-36. Motor and non-motor variables were collected at the baseline assessment of a clinical trial and determined during a structured interview and by clinical examination by movement disorder specialists. The results were compared with those in healthy elderly people. Multiple regression analyses were used to determine which variables were strongly associated with lower levels of quality of life. Results Patients with early PD had a lower score on all dimensions of SF-36, except bodily pain dimension. Motor factors, particular physical disability and disease severity, contributed to decreased HR-QOL, but to a lesser extent. The motor score of the UPDRS (23. 8±11.8), Hoehn-Yahr stage(2. 0± 0.7), together with the rigidity score (4.4 ± 3.1), only accounted for 18.9 % (R2=0. 189) of the variance of SF-36 total score. The variables that most strongly predicted a low total SF-36 score were non-motor factors, particularly depressive symptoms, sleep disorders and fatigue. When the CES-D, FSS, and PSQI score were included in the model, the R2 increased from 0. 189 to 0.617, indicating that 61.7% of the variance in HR-QOL could be explained if additional CES-D, FSS and PSQI scores were known. Depressive symptoms, as measured by CES-D, had an overwhelming impact on HR-QOL. When CES-D score was included, the R2 change was 0.433, which indicated that additional 43.3% of the variability in HR-QOL could be explained by adding depressive symptoms. Conclusions PD has a substantial impact on HR-QOL, even if in its early stage. Depressive symptoms, sleep disorders and fatigue correlated strongly with lower quality of life. Depressive symptoms appeared to be the strongest determinant of HR-QOL in early PD patients. Every effort should be made to recognize and treat these conditions, thus improving all aspects of PD and giving these patients as good a quality of life as possible.

Objective To investigate the effect of fungus Aspergillus fumigatus and Candida albicans on the expression of endocellular interferon-γ (IFN-γ) and interleukin-4 (IL-4) in cytokineinduced natural killer (NK) cells.Methods NK cells were cultured with Aspergillusfumigatus or Candida albicans by non-contact or direct-contact methods with a ratio of NK cells to fungus of 10 ∶ 1.The expressions of IFN-γ and IL-4 in NK cells were evaluated by flow cytometry after co-cultured for 6 h.Analysis of variance or SNK-q test was used to compare the expressions of IFN-γ and IL-4 among different groups.Results The IFN-γexpression rates in NK cells with direct contacting to Aspergillus fumigatus hyphae,or to different morphotypes of Candida albicans were (20.12 ± 0.53) ％,(20.69 ± 0.34) ％ and (20.8 ±0.37)％ respectively,while IFN-γexpression in NK cells with indirect contacting to fumigatus hyphae,or to different morphotypes of Candida albicans were (21.40 ± 0.53) ％,(20.57 ± 1.09) ％ and (20.20 ±0.51) ％ respectively,and all were significantly higher than that in the blank group [(15.11 ± 2.60) ％,all P ＞ 0.05].The IFN-γ expression rates in the Aspergillus fumigatus spores direct and indirect contacting groups were (14.33 ± 0.98) ％ and (14.97 ± 1.53) ％,which were not of significant difference compared with the blank group (P ＞ 0.05).The IL-4 expression rates in NK cells with direct contacting to different morphotypes of Aspergillus fumigatus and Candida albicans were (1.25 ± 0.06) ％,(1.21 ± 0.03) ％,(1.22 ± 0.46) ％ and (1.26 ± 0.11) ％,while those in indirect contacting groups were (1.21 ± 0.06) ％,(1.25 ±0.04)％,(1.27 ±0.03)％ and (1.26 ±0.1)％,which were not of significant difference compared with the blank group [(1.23 ± 0.05) ％,all P ＞ 0.05].Conclusion Fungus stimuli can reduce the secretion of IFN-γ in NK cells,but have not significant influence on the secretion of IL-4.

Objective To investigate the expression of blood CD +4 CD +25 Treg GITR,CD +4 T cell GITRL in children with asthma,and the role of them in asthmatic inflammation.Methods 50 cases of severe asthma were selected,and were controlled with thirty two healthy children.The venous blood was collected both in the period of acute episode and clinic remission.The mean fluorescence intensity of CD +4 CD +25 Treg GITR and CD +4 T cell GITRL was detected by flow cytometry.Results The expression of CD +4 CD +25 Treg GITR in the asthma acute period group was (24.2 ±8.2)MFI,which was significantly lower than (28.5 ±6.0)MFI in the control group(t =2.5,P <0.05).While there was no significant difference of CD +4 T cell GITRL expression between the asthma acute period group[(5.2 ±3.6)MFI]and the control group[(4.6 ±1.0)MFI](t =1.1,P >0.05).Moreover,the expression of CD +4 CD +25 Treg GITR in the asthma in remission group after treatment was (29.5 ±8.3)MFI,which was significantly higher than that in acute period group before treatment(t =-9.9,P <0.01 ).Whereas,there was no significant difference of CD +4 T cell GITRL expression in asthma group between in remission after treatment[(5.7 ±3.6)MFI] and in acute period before treatment(t =-1.6,P >0.05).Furthermore,there was no significant correlation between levels of CD +4 CD +25 Treg GITR and CD +4 T cell GITRL.Conclusion The level of CD +4 CD +25 Treg GITR in acute period asthmatic patients was decreased,but it was increased in remission,but no changes of CD +4 T cell GITRL expression were observed.GITR/GITRL signal system might be involved in the asthmatic inflammation procession.
