Purpose　To investigate the pathomorphological and immunohistochemical features of gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST). Methods　Light microscopy was used to study the morphologic characteristics of 77 cases of GIST. The expression of c-kit(CD117), CD34, vimentin, SMA and S-100 protein were detected in all cases with S-P immunohistochemical method. Results　GIST tended to have a higher degree of cellularity and lesser degree of cytoplasmic eosinophilia than observed in classic leiomyomas. The neoplastic cells of GIST were spindle, epithelioid or both in different proportion. Focal to prominent cytoplasmic vacuolization was often seen. The histological spectrum included interlacing fascicles, diffuse sheets, storiform and palisading pattern. The formation of cell clusters was rather special. Stromal and vascular hyalinization was common. GIST primary in the mesentery tended to have a higher potentiality of malignancy. The positivity of CD117 and CD34 were 90%, 92%, respectively. Conclusion　The characteristic histological features exist in GIST. The detection of CD117 and CD34 is helpful to differential diagnosis.

Objective To establish a model of isoniazid induced necrosis and apoptosis in HepG2 cell and to observe the expressions of Fas/Fas ligand (FasL) in this model.Methods HepG2 cells were treated with different dosages of isoniazid (0,1,2,4,6 and 8 mg/mL) or blank control for 24 hours.Flow cytometer was used to observe the cellular morphology of the HepG2 cell.Annexin V/propidium iodide double staining and flow cytometry were employed to detect the necrosis and apoptosis of HepG2 cells.The expressions of Fas/FasL on the cells were also determined by flow cytometry.The data were analyzed by one-way ANOVA.The comparisons between the drug groups and the control group were performed by using Dunnett t test. Results The higher the dose of isoniazid (4,6,8 mg/mL) was,the more necrosis and apoptosis were observed.In the 4,6 and 8mg/mL isoniazid arms,the total mortality rates were all higher than the control group [(32.1 ±7.5)％,(34.9±8.1)％,(38.2±9.4)％ vs (7.2±1.5)％ respectively](t=4.62,5.14 and 5.75,respectively; all P＜0.01 ).The expression levels of Fas increased along with the dose of isoniazid increasing [(8.7±2.2)％,(11.5±2.8)％,(12.3±3.0)％ and (10.6±2.9)％ in isoniazid 2,4,6and 8 mg/mL arms,respectively],which were all higher than that in control arm [(3.1 ±0.8) ％](t=2.97,P＜0.05; t=4.46,P＜0.01; t=4.88,P＜0.01; t=3.98,P＜0.05).Furthermore,the expressions of FasL increased as well when the dose of isoniazid increased.The expression levels of FasL were (16.2±3.5)％,(21.7±4.8)％ and (18.7±4.9)％,respectively in isoniazid 4,6 and 8 mg/mL arms,which were all higher than that in the control group [(7.4±1.4)％](t=3.11,P＜0.01; t=5.06,P＜0.01; t=3.99,P＜0.05).HepG2 cell necrosis increased with isoniazid of 8 mg/mL.However,the increase of apoptosis was not observed.Conclusion Isoniazid can induce HepG2 cell necrosis and apoptosis,and the apoptosis may be related with the increased expressions of the Fas/FasL on the cells.

Objective To study the effect of listening to music with headphone or background music on pain reduction of patients undergoing colonoscopy. Methods 180 patients undergoing colonoscopy were randondy selected as the headphone group,background music group and the control group.The headphone group listened to relaxed music with headphone after measurement of vital signs.The background music group listened to relaxed music played by CD after measurement of vital signs.The control group did not listen to music.Pain degree was measured by pain intensity number scale during colonoscopy.Heart rate,blood pressure,saturation of blood oxygen and appraisal to the music by the former two groups were observed.Results Pain degree of the headphone group and the background music group was lower than that of the control group(P＜0.05).Pain degree of the headphone group was lower than that of the background music group with no significant difference(P＞0.05).Heart rate of the control group after colonoscopy was faster than before colonoscopy(P＜0.05).Conclusions Relaxed music can alleviate pain of patients undergoing colonoscopy.Listening to background music is a convenient and economical method for alleviation of pain without any side effects for patients undergoing colonoscopy.

Objective To evaluate the best experimental technique with high-sensitivity and specificity for enhancing positive rate of syphilis screen test and preventing the blood dissemination of this disease.Methods Comparison of the results of TP-ELISA,TRUST and TPPA methods of syphilis examination was performed.Results Using three methods to exam 43,323 samples,299 samples were for positive syphilis.Among them, 294 positive samples with the ELISA method,the positive rate of syphilis test was 98.33%(294/299):92 positive samples with TRUST method,the positive rate only 30.77%(92/299);239 positive samples with TPPA method,the positive rate 79.93%(239/299).Conclusion TP-ELISA method with high sensitivity is suitable for the instrument standardization and data preservation,which is an ideal method for blood screen test of syphilis.For guarantee of blood safety and conventience and economic benefit of blood syphilis screen test, it is the best way to use both TP-ELISA and TRUST methods.The specificity of TPPA method is perfect, which is suitable for confirmation test of syphilis positive samples.

Objective To explore the relationship of traditional Chinese medical syndrome patterns with renal pathological changes and clinical laboratory parameters in patients with lupus nephritis.Methods Syndrome patterns were differentiated according the clinical manifestations.The data of laboratory examination and renal pathology were collected and analyzed in 40 patients with lupus nephritis.Results(1) Of the fundamental syndrome patterns,pattern of spleen and kidney Qi deficiency had higher activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT),erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR) and 24-hour urine protein amount than the pattern without spleen and kidney Qi deficiency.(2) Of the incidental syndrome patterns,water-damp pattern had higher APTT than damp-turbidity pattern;hemoglobin(HGB) level in water-damp pattern and damp-turbidity pattern was lower than the normal,and HGB level in water-damp pattern differed from that in blood-staiss pattern and damp-heat pattern(P

[Objective] To observe the effect of Qi-strengthening and blood-activating method for chronic nephritis (CN). [Methods] One hundred and ten patients with CN were randomized into 2 groups. Group A (n = 60) was treated with symptomatic treatment combined with Qi-strengthening and blood-activating herbs including Radix Astragali, Radix Codonopsis, Poria, Rhizoma Dioscorease, Fructus Corni, Rhizoma Curculiginis, Herba Lycopi, Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae, Semen Persicae and Flos Carthami. Group B (n = 50) was treated with symptomatic treatment combined with oral use of Bailing Capsule, the principal ingredient of which is fermented Cordyceps powder with the actions of tonifying lung and kidney and invigorating essence and Qi. The treatment course lasted 8 weeks. Total therapeutic effect, and the changes of symptoms, immune function, hemorrheology indexes and urine routine indexes before and after treatment were observed. Objective: To investigate the change of functional marker and morphology of vascular endothelium induced by simulating diving condition. Methods:14 rabbit were put in the chamber. They stayed for 35 min under 0.55 MPa, and another 35 min under 0.7 MPa, then decompressed to 0.1 Mpa following a stage decompression schedule. Blood sample were draw at 30 min before compression and after decompression for testing endothelin-1(ET-1) and von Willebrand factor (vWF). These parameters were compared to see the change from pre-compression to post-decompression. The morphological change of vascular endothelium was observed under electrical microscope after decompression. Results: After decompression, plasma levels of ET-1 was increased from (1.33?0.23)ng/L to (2.99? 0.35)ng/L and activity of vWF was reduced from (2.35?0.47)% to (1.89?0.34)%. Swelling and defluvium of vascular endothelium was found under electrical microscope. Conclusion: Compression-decompression can cause the damage of vascular endothelium.
