With the expanding of ultrasonic applications, the development of ultrasonic surgical equipment has become a focus in related fields. Ultrasonic horn system is an important component of surgical equipment,and the horn resonance properties directly affect the technical performance of ultrasonic surgical equipment. In this paper, a number of tuning and matching methods appeared in recent years are discussed, and the advantages and problems are analyzed. On the basis, foreground of the research is prospected.

Objective To investigate the association between pet ownership and lung function in children without asthma,and to provide scientific basis for the improvement of lung function in children. Methods Data was drawn from the cross-sectional study ,the clusters were randomly selected from 1 to 2 junior middle schools and primary schools in 24 administrative regions of seven cities in Liaoning Province. The ATS questionnaire survey was performed,and lung function including the forced expiratory volume in 1 second(FEV1),forced vital capacity (FVC),maximal mid-expiratory flow(MMEF)and peak expiratory flow(PEF)was measured by utilizing portable electronic spirometers. Results In this study ,about 6280 children without asthma aged 7 ~ 14 years were enrolled,49.47 % of the children was male. The average lung function of FVC,FEV1,PEF and MMEF was (2.63±0.75)L,(2.47 ± 0.70)L,(4.80 ± 1.42)L/s and(3.37±1.05)L/s,respectively. By adjusting confounding fac-tors,we found pet ownership in the first 2 years of life was significantly associated with the predicted lung function impairment of FVC<85%(aOR=1.30;95%CI:1.01~1.67);current pet ownership was significantly associated with the predicted lung function impairment of FVC < 85%(aOR = 1.32;95% CI:1.09 ~ 1.61),the predicted FEV1<85%(aOR=1.47;95%CI:1.19~1.83),the predicted PEF<75%(aOR=1.48;95%CI:1.16~1.88) and the predicted MMEF<75%(aOR=1.35;95%CI:1.09~1.66). The in utero exposure was not related to lung function impairment. Conclusion Pets ownership has damaging effects on lung function in children without asth-ma,and it reduces FVC,FEV1,PEF and MMEF in children.

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of ultrasound-guided percutaneous transhepatic gallbladder drainage (PTGBD) in the treatment of acute cholecystitis.Methods A retrospective analysis was performed for the clinical data of 81 patients with acute cholecystitis who underwent ultrasound-guided PTGBD in General Hospital of Lanzhou Petrochemical Company from March 2013 to February 2016.The changes in related parameters after the placement of drainage tube were analyzed.The t-test was used for comparison of continuous data between groups.Results All the 81 patients underwent a successful one-time puncture.After the surgery,1 patient experienced tube dislodgement and 2 experienced obstructed bile drainage,while no patient experienced serious complications such as bleeding,bile leakage,and hemopneumothorax.Within 12 hours after surgery,there was a significant improvement in pain in the right upper quadrant and significant reductions in the major axis and radial width of the gallbladder (t =13.28 and 9.54,P =0.023 and 0.041),as well as significant reductions in white blood cell count and neutrophil count (t =8.70 and 8.03,P =0.028 and 0.034).Of all patients,38 achieved symptom remission after the placement of drainage tube and refused selective surgical treatment,and 43 underwent cholecystectomy within 3 months after surgery.Conclusion PTGBD is simple,convenient,visible,and safe and can effectively reduce patients' pain,increase the success rate of the treatment of acute cholecystitis,improve patients' clinical outcomes,and reduce the incidence of complications.It also provides the conditions of selective surgery for critically ill patients with acute cholecystitis,and therefore,it holds promise for clinical application.

By reviewing documents and learning from the Dai medicine teachers, the papertried to show the theory and methods of Dai medicine on diagnosing and treating Rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Dai medicine took a note that RA was caused by the unbalance of the interal Sita and affected by the external Paya Longgananhuang. Those pathogeny can make the partial joint and muscle's function abnormal, which resulted in the RA. RA can be separated into three types which are Longmengshahoufeixiang. They could be treated by boththe internal and external treatments. The etiology and pathogenesis of RA and its diagnosis and treatment methods of traditional Dai medicine were profound, unique and useful. It`s worth of clinical application and further researches.

Objective To construct the plasmid that can produce long,double-stranded RNA and identify nonspecific apoptosis induced by long, double-stranded RNA in human osteosarcoma cells. Methods Plasmid pCI-neo-dsRNA was constructed by two promoters driven DNA sequence based on nontoxic, completely exoteric gene EGFP from the head and the end simultaneously to synthesize sense and antisense RNAs. Human osteosarcoma cells MG63 were transfected with pCI-neo-dsRNA and 48 h later the transfected cells were assessed by Apoptosis Detection System, FCMand MTT method. Results Plasmid pCI-neo-dsRNA was constructed successfully, MTT measurement showed that the absorbance of cells decreased gradually with the increase of plasmid pCI-neo-dsRNA dose(0.05 ?g, 0.10 ?g, 0.15 ?g, 0.20 ?g,0.25 ?g,0.30 ?g). MG3 transfected with pCI-neo-dsEGFP presented a great amount of irregular green fluorescence that indicated cell apoptosis. As the quantity of dsRNA increased, the percent of apoptosis cells also raised. While the dose of pCI-neo-dsEGF was 3.0 ?g, the apoptotic results of pCI-neo-dsEGF in MG3 were similar to that of 5-FU. Conclusion Long, double- stranded RNA could trigger human osteosarcoma cell apoptosis and the further research on using long, double-stranded RNA in osteosarcoma gene therapy can be done based on this theory.

Objective To investigate the level change of interleukin-4(IL-4) and IL-12, and their effect on airway inflammation in rat asthma. Methods Rat model of asthma was set up by ovalbumin sensitization. Total cell count and eosinophil count in branchoalveolar lavage fluid(BALF) were performed, and levels of IL-4 and IL-12 in BALF were measured by ELISA. Results After ovalbumin sensitization, airway occurred obvious inflammation. Eosinophil count began increasing at 1 hour after sensitization, obviously increased at 8 hours, reached a maximum at 24 hours, started declining at 96 hours, and decreased to near normal range at 7 to 14 days. The changes of total cell count had the same tendency as eosinophil count changes. The level of IL-4 in BALF elevated at 1h after sensitization, reached a maximun at 8 to 96 hours, and reduced to near normal level at 7 to 14 days. The changes of IL-12 in BALF had the same tendency as IL-4 level changes. Eosinophil count was positively related with IL-4 level(r=0.74,P0.05). There was a close correlation between IL-4/IL-12 ratio and eosinophil count (r=0.85,P

ObjectiveTo summarize the clinical result of the proximal femoral shaft splitting at sagittal view in primary total hip arthroplasty (THA) in treatment of ultimate hip disease combined with femoral metaphyseal stenosis deformity.MethodsA retrospective study was done on 18 patients with proximal femoral deformity (22 hips including 14 patients with unilateral hips and 4 with bilateral hips)treated from January 2000 to December 2009.There were three males and 15 females, at age range of 41-75 years (average 54 years).According to Berry classification system, all patients were indentified as metaphyseal segment abnormality and deformity, including developmental type disease (congenital hip dysplasia) in 17 patients and old tuberculosis of the hip in one.The congenital hip dysplasia was diagnosed as type Ⅳ by using the Crowe classification system.All the patients were treated with the proximal femoral shaft splitting, subtrochanteric shortening with overlapping femoral resection and V-shaped derotational osteotomy.In the meantime, standard biological fixation of the femoral stem prosthesis was performed.ResultsThere found no dislocation, infection, lower extremity nerve stretch injury or uncontrolled proximal femur fractures.X-ray showed that all acetabular cups were placed at the anatomical position and that the initial femoral stem prosthesis fixation was rated as good.All osteotomy areas were healed within 3-6 months.Limb length discrepancy was restored to average 3 cm after surgery.The patients were followed up for 1-10 years (average six years), which showed that the average Harris hip score was improved from preoperative 30 to postoperative 93, with no aseptic loosening or osteolysis or radiolucent line around the femoral component, no prosthesis sinking or varus displacement, or no patients needing revision of the femoral component.ConclusionsThe proximal femoral shaft splitting at sagittal view and standard biological fixation of the femoral stem prosthesis can attain satisfactory result for patients with ultimate hip disease combined with femoral metaphyseal stenosis deformity.

Objective To investigate clinically chromosome micro imbalance in children with unexplained mental retardation(MR) or development delay(DD) by using high resolution microarray comparative genomic hybridization(Array-CGH),to identify chromosome micro imbalance which might be associated with MR/DD,and evaluate the effectiveness of Array-CGH in etiological diagnosis of children with unexplained MR/DD.Methods One hundred and twenty-six children with unexplained MR/DD were recruited for this study by Array-CGH to detect chromosome micro imbalance.All chromosome micro imbalances were verified with database of genomic variation(DGV),Database of Chromosomal Imbalance and Phenotype in Humans using Ensembl Resources(DECIPHER) and literature review,to determine if the chromosome micro imbalances found in these children were associated with MR/DD.Results Twenty eight clinically relevant chromosome micro imbalances were detected among 26 children out of 126 children with unexplained MR/DD.The diagnostic yield for the MR/DD children was 20.6％ (26/126 cases).These chromosome micro imbalances were undetectable by chromosome analysis.All MR/DD children with chromosome micro imbalances had face dysmorphism and/or surface,organ dysmorphism.The most common abnormality was Prader-Willi syndrome/Angelman syndrome(3/26 cases,11.5％),which was followed by DiGeroge syndrome(2/26 cases,7.6％),Cri-du chat syndrome(2/26 cases,7.6％) and 16p11.2 deletion syndrome(2/26 cases,7.6％).Conclusions Chromosome micro imbalance is one of the most common causes of unexplained MR/DD.Array-CGH can detect disease associated with chromosome micro imbalance as a useful evaluation to help differential diagnosis of children with unexplained MR/DD.Screening for chromosome micro imbalance should be firstly carried out in those MR/DD children with face dysmorphism and/or surface,organ dysmorphism.

Objective:To analyse the anatomical change of the human temporomandibular joint(TMJ) in the position of mandibular lateral displacement and to provide the anatomical data for temporomandibular disorder.Methods:3 of the 8 samples of selected fresh cadavers were adjusted to mandibular lateral displacement position, and 5 to edge-to-edge occlusion position,then samples were fixed and sectioned according to coronal and sagittal planes by using plastination technique. The feature of the thin plastination sections of the TMJ in the mandibular lateral displacement position and were compared with that in edge-to-edge occlusion position.Results:On the working side in mandibular lateral displacement position, condylar moved backwords,upwards and outside in the articular fossa. Articular discs of TMJ did not move following condylar movement,but posterior band of the articular disc was suppressed by the condylar and articular fossa. On the non-working side in mandibular lateral displacement position, condylar moved ahead,downwards and inwards along posterior incline of articular tuberculum,then articular discs did not move,and middle band of articular discs was suppressed by the condyle and articular tuberculum.Conclusions:The TMJ disc does not shift as TMJ condylar process turns in articular fossa.When the condylar turns and slides at the same time,the articular discs shift.

Objective To explore the therapeutic effects of Ni-Ti memory alloy embracing fixator on the multiple fracture of ribs and flail chest. Method From January 2006 to December 2009, the effects of operation and long-term follow-up after internal fixation operation with memory alloy embracing fixator in patients with multiple fracture of ribs and flail chest were observed. Results The hospital stay of patients treated with memory alloy embracing fixator was 10.31 ± 3.14 days and pain was significantly reheved after treatment ( P= 0.02) .The rate of post-operative complications was 17.65% such as atelectasis, pulmonary infection, etc. There were fewer longterm complications and less influence to daily activity of life. Conclusions It is a advanced and practical method for patients with the multiple fracture of ribs by using Ni-Ti memory alloy embracing fixator with slighter trauma,simple, safe, reliable, good histocompatibility and fewer post-operative complications.
