Objective To investigate the effects of short-term sleep deprivation(SD)at different time during night on serum cortisol level and emotion state of healthy men,and to find out the influence of work shift onto human circadian rhythm.Methods Two periods of sleep-time were deprived in the present study:the late-night SD(permitted to sleep from 0:00 to 3:00 each day)and the early-night SD(permitted to sleep from 3:00 to 6:00 each day).Ten healthy male adults were chosen to undergo the late-night SD first,followed by normal sleeping for eight nights for washout,and then underwent early-night SD.Each SD period lasted 6 days,i.e.1 day before SD,4 days of SD and 1 day after SD for recovery.Fasting blood samples,for detection of serum cortisol,were collected at 7:00 am every SD day,and the state anxiety inventory(S-AI)scoring was done at the same time.Results The cortisol levels were lowered after 2 types of SD(P0.05).Dependability analysis showed that the cortisol level during the late-night SD period was negatively related to the SD days(r=-0.954 7,P0.05).Both types of SD could elevate anxiety scores,which positively correlated with the SD days(late-night SD:r=0.990,P

Objective The methods for determination of Chlorogenic Acid(CA) in Eucommia ulmodies Oliv were established and determinated the content of CA. Extract solvent, method, time and times were studied and HPLC method for determination was used. Methods The HPLC system consisted of the column of Lichrospher C18 (4.6 mm?250 mm, 5 ?m) and acetonitrtle-water-phosphoric acid (13∶86.5∶ 0.5) as the mobile phase. The temperature was 25℃. The detective wavelength was 327nm. The flow rate was 0.8 mL/min. External standard method was used. Results The powder of eucommia was extracted twice with 60%methanol-water solution at 100 ℃, the first time for 1.5 h,the second for 0.5 h was the optimum one. The method was linear within the range of 2.22?10-2～55.40?10-2 ?g, the average recovery was 99.55%, and the RSD was 1.98% (n =6). Conclusion The method is simple, sensitive and highly reproductive, and it is suitable for ananlysis of CA in Eucommia ulmodies Oliv.

Objective To identify the gene locus and the mutation of DSRAD (double-stranded RNA adenosine deaminase) in a Chinese dyschromatosis symmetrica hereditaria(DSH) family. Methods After confirming the diagnosis of the DSH proband, the genomic DNA was extracted from the whole blood samples of every members of the pedigree. The DSRAD gene intervals were localized by linkage analysis and haplotype reconstruction. The mutation of DSRAD was detected by direct sequencing. Results The candidate gene was localized at the 1q region, consistent with the reported region. The direct sequencing results showed that there was a CAA→TAA transition at exon 2 of DSRAD in all affected family members, which consequently led to a nonsense mutation of Gln517Ter. Conclusion A nonsense mutation is found in the Chinese DSH family.

Objective To study and the succession of sarcosaphagous insects and their regular activity on carcass in Xinxiang area. Methods Six rats and five rabbits were sacrificed and placed at the remote grassland of Xinxiang Medical University in July 2015. The main insect species and the decomposition process were observed. The different decomposition stages and the community succession of insects were recorded. Results Seven main species could be identified belonging to 3 families from Diptera, main including Musca domestica, Chrysomya megacephala, Lucilia sericata, Boettcherisca peregrina, Helicophagella melanura. Muscina stabulans and Fannia prisca. And showed regulations of the succession of sarcosaphagous flies community. Conclusion It may be used for estimating postmortem interval in Xinxiang area.

Objective To survey the incidence of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) in patients with HBV-related cirrhosis receiving nucleos(t)ide analogues treatment and to assess its risk factors.Methods A total of 141 patients with HBV-related liver cirrhosis receiving nucleos(t) ide therapy from April 2008 to June 2011 were enrolled.The clinical data including virological and biochemical tests were retrospectively analyzed.Univariate and multivariate Cox proportional hazards regression model was used to identify the risk factors of HCC occurrence.Results Patients were followed up for 6.4 to 87.6 months with a median followup time of 32.5 months.During the follow-up period,15 out of 141 patients developed HCC with an average annual incidence rate of 3.8％.HCC incidence was higher in HBeAg positive cirrhosis and in those with family history of liver cancer ( RR =4.524 and 3.858,P ＜ 0.05 ).Conclusions Patients with HBV-related cirrhosis have a high incidence rate of HCC even they recieve nucleos (t) ide analogues treatment.HBeAg positive cirrhosis and family history of liver cancer are independent risk factors for HCC.

Objective To evaluate the efficacy of eszopiclone for patients with acute insomnia and the impact of premedication with eszopiclone on sleep structure of patients with acute insomnia.Methods In an open-label,self-control trial was conducted at Changzheng Hospital Sleep Centers,and patients (n =32) with acute insomnia (12 men,20 women; mean age,36.2 years) were administered eszopiclone 3 mg for three consecutive nights.Sleep was monitored via polysomnography.The insomnia severity index (ISI),and mini-mental state examination (MMSE) were used to assess the degree of insomnia and impact of drugs on cognitive function during the day.Results Eszopiclone can shorten sleep latency ( before treatment:(52.92 ± 11.71 ) min,after treatment:(28.2 ± 10.11 ) min; t =-4.376,P ＜0.01 ),prolong total sleep time(before treatment:(365.22 ±30.13) min,after treatment:(429.18 ±26.93 ) min; t =4.102,P ＜ 0.01 ),decrease wake up times( before treatment:( 5.00 ± 1.92 ) times,after treatment:( 2.73 ± 0.91 )times; t =- 4.592,P ＜ 0.01 ),improve sleep efficiency ( before treatment:72.69％ ± 6.32％,after treatment:82.67％ ± 4.16％ ; t =3.371,P ＜ 0.01 ),reduce awake time ( before treatment:( 88.51 ±17.48) min,after treatment:(65.93 ±21.l0)min; t =-4.592,P ＜0.01 ),decrease light sleep ( NREM1 period) the percentage of time ( before treatment:12.54％ ± 2.10％,after treatment:7.30％ ± 2.90％ ;t=-3.155,P ＜ 0.01 ),and increase the percentage of slow wave sleep (before treatment:8.03％ ±5.37％,after treatment:9.31％ ±5.29％; t =4.228,P ＜0.01).No effect was observed on the percentage of NERM2 period (t =0.731,P ＞0.05) and REM period (t =-0.813,P ＞0.05).Eszopiclone can improve the quality of subjective assessment of sleep ( ISI score decreased,t =- 2.551,P ＜ 0.05) and has no significant effect on cognitive function on first the morning after patients taking the medication.Conclusion Eszopiclone can positively regulate the sleep structure in patients with acute insomnia and improve subjective assessment of sleep quality.It is safe and has no significant effect on cognitive function.

Objective To investigate the value of multi slice spiral computed tomography (MSCT) reconstruction technique for diagnosis and preoperative evaluation of pancreatic carcinoma.Methods The multi-phase enhanced CT images of thirty-five cases of pancreatic carcinoma proved histologically were analyzed retrospectively.The techniques of volume rendering (VR),multi-planar reconstruction (MPR) and curved planar reformation (CPR) were used to deal with the images,and the relation between the pancreatic tumor and its surrounding structures,vessels,bile duct were observed,then the evaluation of possible surgical resection was performed,then it was compared with operative results.Results Among the 35 patients,27 vessels invasion was showed in 9 patients,common bile duct invasion in 19 patients,pancreatic duct invasion in 12 patients,duodenum invasion in 7 patients,posterior wall of stomach in 2 patients was invaded; one patient had regional portal hypertension with splenomegaly,peri-pancreatic lymph nodes enlargement was detected in 14 patients,para-aortic lymph nodes enlargement was detected in 4 patients,and liver metastasis was found in 3 patients.According to CT evaluation,surgery could be performed in 21 cases,finally 19 patients underwent curative pancreatic cancer resection,and 2 patients underwent palliative surgery.According to CT evaluation,surgery could not be performed in 14 cases,and all of the patients underwent palliative surgery.The coincidence percentage of pre-operative evaluation and post-operative results of curative surgery,palliative surgery was 90％ and 88％.Conclusions MSCT reconstruction technique is useful for diagnosis of pancreatic carcinoma regional invasion and metastasis,and it can increase the accuracy of assessment of tumor resectability.

Objective To investigate the analgesic efficacy and safety of parecoxib-sodium in patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Methods Ninety patients received laparoscopic cholecystectomy were divided into parecoxib-sodium group,flurbiprofen group and control group by random digits table, 30 cases in each group, all patients received the drug by vein 30 minutes before surgery. The postoperative pain intensity (VAS score), satisfaction of patients, changes of blood coagulation function and maximum agglutination rate (MAR) of platelet agglutination test before and after treatment and the incidence of postoperative adverse reaction were observed and compared. Results Pestoperative VAS scores and psychiatric symptoms at different time in parecoxib-sodium group and flurbiprofen group were significantly lower than those in control group (P ＜ 0.05), analgesic satisfaction rate were 93.3% (28/30) in parecoxibsodium group and 90.0% (27/30) in flurbiprofen group, which were significantly higher than that in control group [20.0%(6/30)] (P＜0.05). There were no significant difference in blood coagulation function and MAR before and after treatment among three groups (P ＞ 0.05). Conclusion Parecoxib-sodium displays significant analgesic effects and low rate of adverse events for the patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy, it is worthy of clinical application.
