Objective To improve the understanding,diagnosis and treatment for urethra syndrome of menopausal women.Methods 626 female patients with urethra syndrome took nilestriol of 2 mg/2 weeks orally after initating invalid antibiotic therapy.Then the therapeutic effects were observed and compared.Results 143 cases showed specially remarkable effect (2 weeks),426 cases presented remarkable effect (4 weeks),55 cases produced obvious effect (6 weeks) and 2 cases had common effect (8 weeks).The total effective rate was 100%.There was no complication.Conclusion Nilestriol supplementary treatment for urethra syndrome of menopausal women (1～2 mg/2 weeks) is safe and reliable with good effect.

Objective To evaluate zinc therapy in the management of infertility due to semen of poor quality. Methods Oral 0.05% zinc gluconate was instituted to 876 cases of male infertility due to semen of poor quality (group A) and 10% calcium gluconate orally to 116 patients as controls (group B).548 men with normal semen served as normal contrast (group C).Semen routine and zinc content in semen fluid and blood semen were assessed 4 weeks before and 4 weeks after the treatment in all.Their couples were followed up for pregnancy or not. Objective To investigate the clinical characteristics of sever acute pancreatitis (SAP) with high triglyceride(TG). Methods 82 patients with onset of SAP within 72 hours were involved in this study. These patients were divided into high TG group (n=26) and normal TG group (n=56) according to serum TG lev-els tested (high TG group≥1.7 mmoL/L;normal TG group<1.7 mmol/L on admission). Results 31.71% (26/82) SAP patients were discovered with high TG APACHE-Ⅱ grade of high TG group was higher than that of normal TG group on admission[(14.62±7.58) vs (10.68±5.21),P<0.01]. Within the onset of 72 hours,the incidence of cardiac,pulmonary and kidney dysfunction in high TG group was higher than those of normal TG group (34.62%,34.62% and 19.23% vs 5.36%,3.57% and 1.79%,P<0.01),and the incidence of pancreatic pseudocysts was higher in high TG group than that of normal group(42.31% vs 7.14%,P<0.01). No emergency and early-stage surgical cases in high TG group but 13 cases(23.21%) in normal group. There were 2 cases of high TG group and 4 of normal group averting to operation. Conclusion SAP patients with high TG have high incidence of early-stage organ dysfunction and local complication,in this case nonsurgical intervention is the first choice.

Low-triiodothyronine syndrome is a condition characterized by decreased total serum T 3 and free T3 , along with in-creased serum reverse triiodothyronine but normal levels of thyroxine and thyrotropin .However , it is not caused by the thyroid gland diseases.The latest research progress of mechanisms , diagnosis and clinical significance , and therapy strategy of low T 3 syndrome is reviewed in this paper .

Objective To study the changes and clinical significance of serum matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9) ,tissue inhibi-tor of metalloproteinase-1(TIMP-1) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in infants with early wheezing .Methods Ser-um levels of MMP-9 ,TIMP-1 and VEGF in 116 infants with early wheezing(wheeling group)and 36 healthy infant (control group) were detected by using ELISA .Results Serum levels of MMP-9 ,TIMP-1 and VEGF in wheeling group were significantly higher than those in control group(P<0 .05);In wheeling group ,there was a linear relationship between the level of MMP-9 and VEGF ;the ratio of MMP-9/TIMP-1 was significantly lower in wheeling groups than in control group(P<0 .05) .Conclusion The infants with early wheezing have the dangerous of airway remodeling .Detection of serum levels of MMP-9 ,TIMP-1 and VEGF is of a cer-tain significance for intervention therapy to wheezing infants as early as possible .

This paper introduces the basic concept of man-machine interaction technique and the pathological and physiology basis of its application in guiding equipment. Based on the analysis of demands of blind people, the design for novel intelligent guiding equipment based on man-machine interaction technique was proposed. This method used multiple sense information mainly by infrared technique to detect obstruction and control the advancing direction of whole guiding equipment through the intellectualized judgment and processing by microprocessor to guide the blind. In addition, the principle and process of detecting method, control function, command definition, program design and debugging improvement of the guiding equipment were introduced, and its application and prospect were discussed.

[Objective]To assess the protective effects of Xianlinggubao on articular cartilage and subchondral bone in experimental osteoarthritis induced by anterior cruciate ligament transaction (ACLT)in rabbits. [Methods]Thirty healthy Japanese white rabbits were divided randomly into three groups:sham group,ACLT+XLGB group and ACLT+ NS group. Rabbits in ACLT+XLGB group and ACLT+NS group received anterior cruciate ligament transection(ACLT)on the right knee. Rabbits in sham group received untreatment as control. ACLT+XLGB group received a daily administration of XLGB at a dose of 125 mg/kg of body weight for 6 weeks.In contrast,ACLT+NS group received saline at the same dose. All rabbits were sacrificed at 6 weeks after operation. The right femora were removed,measured for bone mineral density (BMD),and then were observed for the macro-pathologic changes with HE staining and graded by Mankin's scale.
