The alkaline elution and flurometric DNA assay for the mesurement of the DNA single-strand breaks (SSB) and the thiobarbituric, acid test for the mesurement of molondialdehyde (MDA) were adopted in this article to study the effects of sodium selenite (Na_2SeO_3) on the mutagenicity of AOH. Objective To study the effects of enriched environment on the capacity of learning and memory and expression of brain derived neurotrophie factor(BDNF) expression of CA1 hippocampus in Wistar rats. Methods 20 male Wistar rats were raised from weaning(21 days old) to young adulthoed(50 -60 days old) in either an enriched or normal environment. The ability of learning and memory was measured with the Morris water maze test,and the expression of BDNF of CA1 hippocampus neuron was detected by immunohistochemistry. Results During Morris water maze test, the mean latency in enriched environment group was significantly shorter than that in the normal control group(24.37±5.45)s Vs (31.28±5.39)s;the time taken to cross the target in enriched environment group was significantly more than that in the normal control group(3.38±0.79)Vs (2.21± 0.49);the swimming distance of platform quadrant increased in the enriched environment group, and the decreased gray intensity of BDNF expression in CA1 hippoeampus was found in the enriched environment group. Conclusions Enriched environment can improve the capacity of learning and memory of the rats, which were realized may be through BDNF pathway.

Objective: To investigate the application of conventional ultrasound and 16-slice CT examination in clinical diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and hepatic focal nodular hyperplasia. Methods: To choose 94 cases patients were receiving treatment in our hospital who were diagnosed as hepatic focal lesion through percutaneous biopsy of hepatocyte or histopathological examination of postoperation, and then take conventional ultrasound and 16-slice CT, respectively, to detect them. To compare and analyze the two methods in series of indicator, such as accuracy, the number of lesion size and the imageology character. Results: Conventional ultrasound diagnosis of benign tumor lesions was consistent with spiral CT results, and the difference was not statistical significance (x2=0.5556, P>0.05). The accuracy of spiral CT for hepatic carcinoma was higher than that of conventional ultrasound, and the difference was significant (x2=8.1987, P<0.05). The consistent rate of the spiral CT group with real result for micro-miniature carcinoma (the diameter less than 1 cm) was higher than that of conventional ultrasound group, and their difference was significant (x2=14.4028, P<0.05). The disappear and persist time of hepatic carcinoma patients were longer than that of non-hepatic carcinoma patients, and the difference between them was significant (t=9.7531, P<0.05). Conclusion: It is higher accuracy that 16-spiral CT can diagnose malignancy lesions in earlier stage.

In this study, cryopreservated platelets were transfused to 1560 patients. of them, 536 were patients with acute leukaemia, 285 with anemia, 253 with thrombocytopenia due to chemical or radicalized treat, 438 in perioperation, and 48 with DIC or hemorrhage of rupture esophagus varix. The storage time of cryopreserved platelets ranged from one week to thirteen months. Most of the cryopreserved platelets had not been washed before application and no obvious adverse-effects were observed except for garlic smell in patients' exhalation after transfusing cryopreserved platelets. The results showed that transfusion of cryopreserved platelets has a remarkable on effect hemostasis and can enhance the platelet count in peripheral blood. Compared with liquid-preserved platelets, cryopreserved platelets for clinic use have the following advantages:1) the potentiality of large stock, 2) much longer shelf life, 3) higher safety, 4) superior hemostasis effect, and 5) capacity to meet emergent massive clinic demand.

Objective To investigate the frequency of type 2 diabetes and diabetic complications. Methods The clinical and laboratory data of 1433 cases of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus were retrospectively analyzed. Results The frequency of diabetic complications of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus were 88.28%(1626/1433). The rates of complicated hypertension, coronary heart disease, peripheral neuritis, diabetic renopathy, diabetic retinopathy, hyperlipoidemia, urethritis, diabetic acidosis, pneumonia, fatty liver, diabetic foot gangrene, cholecystitis, skin infection, brain vessel disease and vegetative nerve disease were 46.9%, 33.2%, 29.7%, 25.4%,22.0%,13.0%,7.5%,4.2%,4.0%,4.0%,3.5%,3.5%,3.3%,2.9%,and 2.0%, respectively. Conclusion The frequency of diabetic complications of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus were much high, and the distrubution of diabetic complications was different in different ages, course of disease and syndromes.

Objective To estimate the efficacy and safety of cryopreserved platelets in surgical patients.Methods 238 patients in recent years with hemorrhage or high risk of hemorrhage induced by thrombocytopenia or functional platelet defects during or after surgery, who had been transfused with cryopreserved platelets, were included in our study. The following items were recorded: bleeding time before and two hours after transfusion of cryopreserved platelets; the persist time of blood oozing from wound after transfusion; platelet count before and one hour after transfusion; platelet count before and immediately after surgery; and the number of patients with adverse transfusion reactions. The hemostatic efficacy was judged by the bleeding time and platelet count change.Results Bleeding times before and two hours after cryopreserved platelets transfusion were (9?3)min,(4?2)min respectively; blood oozing from wound stopped 0.5～2 hours after transfusion; the platelet level was elevated by(5～42)?10 9/L one hour after transfusion; the postoperative platelet count was decreased by(130?69)?10 9/L compared to preoperative count; four patients had urticaria and five had febrile reaction. The hemostatic efficacy was 95%(226/238) Conclusion Cryopreserved platelets function immediately to bring about the cessation of blood oozing from the wound,and elevation of peripheral blood platelet count.

Objective To study the pericarp surface of Fructus Viticis from three main production area under the scanning electron microscope (SEM), and to provide evidence for distinguishing the Fructus Viticis and its false and the different variety of it. Method Using scanning electron microscope, the pericarp surface characteristics from three main production area were comparative studied. Result The pericarp surface characteristics of the fruits of Vitex trifolia L. var. simplicifolia Cham from Shandong and Jiangxi were extremely similar, but they were obvious different with the fruits of Vitex trifolia L. from Guangxi. Conclusion The pericarp surface characteristics of Fructus Viticis from three main production area under SEM were obvious. The methods was simple and provides the new reference to discriminate the Fructus Viticis from different places.

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the drug use in outpatients of our hospital. METHODS: A total of 10.680 prescriptions prescribed since the issuing of the Prescription Management Method on May 2007 were reviewed for an analysis of the irrational ones involving nonstandard writing and inappropriate drug use. RESULTS: 12.0% prescriptions were nonstandard in writing and 51.6% were irrational in drug use. CONCLUSION: The prescriptions in our hospital under study are somewhat irrational in prescription writing and drug use,which is worth the highest alert.

Objective To investigate the actual cost and benefit of stoma nursing at present as a reference for the improvement of stoma care cost management program. Methods A cross sectional study was carried out in gastrointestinal surgery of a tertiary- level hospital in southwestern China from April 2014 to December 2014. The consumption of intestinal stoma care work, the average monthly income/average monthly working hours ratio and other indicators of stoma care nurse specialist were measured by the step cost allocation method, to investigate the actually cost of a single stoma care service which colostomy patients had received and analyze the gap between actually costs and charge standard of Sichuan Province. Results The directly human cost of stoma care expenses were (22.33 ± 3.66) yuan; working fee expenses were (4.18 ± 0.68) yuan;administrative expenses were (1.87 ± 1.32 ) yuan; research and education expenses were (1.87 ± 1.32 ) yuan; the total cost of investment was (29.14 ± 4.76) yuan, which was much higher than the current charge standard of Chengdu Bureau of Commodity Prices (t=119.50, P <0.05). Conclusions There is a difference between the actual cost and charge standard of stoma care. The situation of low pay to labor is not in line with economic laws, and not conducive to the future development of stoma care speciality.

Objective The purpose of this study was to identify the effect factors on family adaptation of hospitalized children.Methods A survey was conducted in 330 hospitalized children's parents using questionnaires such as FSI,FVI,FHI,FWBI.Results Multiple factor analysis showed that the strongest resilience factor was family hardiness,the second one was general family value on family adaptation of hospitalized children.Conclusions Family hardiness and family value have the adjusting role on family adaptation of hospitalized children.Therefore,the significance of this study can be used to develop family nursing intervention program based on family resilience to strengthen family adaptation of hospitalized children.
