2.Vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty: biomaterials and biomechanics
Chinese Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma 2002;0(04):-
Percutaneous vertebroplasty (PVP) and kyphoplasty (PKP) are perf or med by image-guided spinal procedures and consists in percutaneously transpedic ular injection of the polymer polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) into a fractured ver tebral body to relieve the pain and to strengthen the bone. Advantages of the te chnology include its relative simplicity, fewer complications and minimally inva sive surgery. PKP can also restore vertebral height. This paper is to sum up the results of biomechanical comparison of different cements, different volumes and different distribution in the vertebras. This article also indicates the disadv antages of PVP and PKP at present. To achieve the goal in the future, the operat ions and ideal biomaterials should be improved and developed.
3.Expression of S100B Protein in the Placenta and Umbilical Cord of the Pregnant Women at Different Gestational Ages
Journal of China Medical University 2009;(10):781-782,789
Objective To investigate the expression and localization of S100B protein in the placenta and umbilical cord tissue of the pregnant women at different gestational ages. Methods The placenta and umbilical cord tissues were obtained from 60 healthy pregnant women at different gestational ages:13~27 weeks (a = 20),28~36 weeks (n = 20),37~41 weeks (n = 20). The localization and expres-sion of S100B protein was detected by S-P immunochemical method and Western blotting. Results In the placenta, the S100B protein lo-cated in the trophoblast.myofibroblasts.macrophages and smooth muscle cells. The intensity of immunostaining and protein concentration in-creased with advancing gestation. In the umbilical cord, the S100B protein was found in the smooth muscle cells, myofibmblasts, amnion ep-ithelium, macrophages and monocytes. S100B piotein expression showed no significant difference in the different cells of the umbilical cord. Conclusion S100B protein expression in the placenta and umbilical cord tissues is throughout the gestation and increases with advancing gestation in the placenta.
4.Current status and recognition of pulmonary surfactant for the treatment of acute respiratory distress syndrome
Chinese Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2016;31(18):1372-1375
Exogenous surfactant replacement has been successfully achieved and become standard therapy in neonatal respiratory distress syndrome, but clinical trials in acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) had mixed results.Early studies show that pulmonary surfactant(PS) administration in ARDS can significantly improve oxygenation and decrease mortality, but in recent years, some clinical trials haven't achieve the most substantial benefits to long-term patient outcomes. The inconsistent results of clinical trials may have related to aspects of drug composition, dosing, delivery, and timing. At this time, surfactant therapy cannot be recommended as routine therapy in pediatric ARDS.

6.Preparation and Quality Control of Ankang Oral Liquid
China Pharmacy 2005;0(19):-
OBJECTIVE:To prepare Ankang oral liquid and to establish its quality control method.METHODS:Quali?tation identification of the principal agents like Fructus citri sarcodactylis and Radix Curcumae were performed by TLC,the content of hesperidin was detemined by HPLC.RESULTS:The TLC spots were clear and centralized, the linear range of hesperidin was0.04168?g~0.4168?g,the average recovery was98.11%,RSD=0.25%.CONCLUSION:The preparing technique was simple and its quality is stable, the quality control method is accurate and feasible.
7.Emphasis on the study of correlation between retinal vascular abnormalities and systemic vascular diseases
Chinese Journal of Ocular Fundus Diseases 2016;32(4):349-352
The abnormalities of retinal vessels such as retinal arteriolar narrowing, arteriovenous nicking,micro-aneurysms,retinal hemorrhages, and cotton wool spot are closely related to systemic diseases including hypertension, diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular disorders, stroke and renal diseases. The modern retinal vessels examination technology has features of quick noninvasive, quantitative standardized and intelligent analysis.Taking advantage of these to fully discover the retinal vascular abnormalities and get deeper understanding of the relationship between its' mechanism and systemic vascular diseases is not only helpful to better diagnose and treat retinal vascular diseases, but also contributes to predicting the risk and prognosis of systemic diseases. We suggest emphasizing on the study of correlation between retinal vascular abnormalities and systemic vascular diseases using modern retinal vessels examination technology. It will provide the preventive clue of diseases of circulatory system by finding out the retinopathy.Meanwhile, correctly treating systemic diseases would get a better prognosis of the retinopathy. They exist side by side and play a part together for providing a better prognosis, which would be a new direction for the doctors and scientists in the new era.

9.Determination of Gallic Acid in Yuanhu Zhitong Soft Capsule by HPLC
Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2014;(4):80-81,85
Objective To establish the determination method of gallic acid in Yuanhu Zhitong Soft Capsule by HPLC. Methods Chromatography was performed on a Unitary C18 column (250 mm× 4.6 mm, 5 μm) at 254 nm. The mobile phase consisted of a mixture of methanol and 0.5%phosphate acid (5∶95) at flow rate of 1.0 mL/min. Results The standard curve of linear relationship was 0.024 8-0.496 μg and r=0.999 9. The RSD of precision, repeatability and stability was 0.27%, 0.21%, 1.40%, respectively. The average recovery was 99.81%, RSD was 0.72%. Conclusion The established method was accurate and reliable for the determination of gallic acid in Yuanhu Zhitong Soft Capsule.
