Objective To investigate the method and effects of nurse-led chronic disease management clinic in patients with cardiovascular disease. Methods A total of 300 patients admitted to the nurse-led chronic disease management clinic for cardiovascular disease of West China Hospital, Sichuan University from January to June 2016 were selected by convenience sampling and surveyed using self-designed questionnaire to investigate the satisfaction of patients. The nurse-led clinic volume and revisiting volume were collected in the first half year of 2015 and 2016 respectively. The effects of nurse-led clinic were evaluated with both revisiting and satisfaction rate. Results The revisiting rate in the first half year of 2016 was 51.9%, while in the first half year of 2015 was 33.8%, and there was a significant difference between the two periods(x2=5.58,P<0.05). Patients had a higher satisfaction rate of 95.7% for the chronic disease management in clinic. The two aspects with lower satisfaction rate were disease surveillance and emotion management. Conclusions Patients are satisfied with the chronic disease management in nurse-led clinic. Management of cardiovascular chronic disease clinic can effectively strengthen the management of patients with chronic disease.

Objective To explore the effectiveness of multidisciplinary team management mode in the nursing and treatment of patients with coronary heart disease ( CHD) . Methods Totally 151 CHD patients from the department of cardiology in a tertiary hospital from March to June 2015 were selected as the research object. 151 CHD patients were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group. 77 patients in the control group only received the routine nursing and health education. 74 patients in the experimental group received the intervention of multidisciplinary team management for six months on the basis of routine nursing and health education. After the intervention, patients in two groups were investigated by chronic disease self-efficacy scales and self-management questionnaire of CHD patient, and patients′self-efficacy level and self-management level were compared between two groups. Results The scores of self-efficacy and self-management in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusions The implementation of multidisciplinary team management mode intervention for CHD patients can enhance the self-efficacy of patients and improve their self-management ability.

Objective:To explore the efficacy and safety of whole-brain low-dose radiotherapy(LDRT)combined with PD-1 inhibitor sin-tilimab and intrathecal pemetrexed(IP)for the treatment of refractory non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)with leptomeningeal metastases(LM).Methods:Retrospective analysies were was performed on eight NSCLC patients with LM at the West China Hospital of Sichuan Uni-versity from December 2022 to May 2024.Among the eight patients, there were four were males and four were females, with a median age of 49 years(rangeing, between 34 to 58 years). All patients were treated with whole-brain LDRT combined with immune checkpoint inhibit-or(ICI)and intrathecal chemotherapy regimens, and the therapeutic efficacy was evaluated according to the Response Assessment in Neuro-Oncology(RANO)criteria and the Karnofsky physical status(KPS)score.Adverse reactions were assessed according to the Common Criteria for the Evaluation of Adverse Events(CTCAE version 5.0).Survival analysis was performed using the Kaplan-Meier method. The classification proportion of cerebrospinal fluid subsets before and after treatment was analyzed using by single-cell sequencing, and the differential ana-lysis of gene expression in parallel cells was performed. Results:The best clinical treatment effects in eight patients were were evaluated us-ing the RANO criteria:five patients(62.5%)were evaluated as improved and three(37.5%)as stable. The median KPS score of the eight pa-tients was 30(20-50)before treatment, which was significantly improved to 60(40-90)after treatment(P=0.000 9).The remission rate of neurological symptoms was 100%(8/8)in eight patients. The median neurological progression-free survival(NPFS)was 12 months. The res-ults of single-cell sequencing in CSF of patientss(P1)showed that the proportion of T cells in the patient samples after whole-brain LDRT treatment was significantly higher than that before treatment(6.08%vs.68.87%),and the proportion of tumor cells was significantly lower(12.92%vs.0.6%).The differential analysis of gene expression showed that CCL5 and CXCL13 were significantly upregulated in T cells of CSF after WB-LDRT treatment. Conclusions:The combination of whole-brain LDRT with ICI and IP in the treatment of NSCLC with LM can signific-antly alleviate neurological symptoms, improve quality of life and prolong the NPFS of patients, which is a safe and effective treatment.

V-raf murine sarcoma viral oncogene homolog B1 (BRAF) is a pro-oncogene, which is one member of the RAF family. Mutated BRAF is found in approximately 8% of human tumors. BRAF gene mutations lead to continuous activation of the mitogen-activatd protein kinase (MAPK) pathway, which resulting in abnormal cell proliferation and tumorigenesis. In recent years, recurrent MAPK signaling mutations were identified in ameloblastoma, among which BRAF-V600E is the most prominent type. This provides new strategies for the targeted treatment of ameloblastoma. This paper reviewed the latest advances in BRAF gene mutation associated with ameloblastoma and its potential clinical significance.

Pulmonary fibrosis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, acute lung injury, asthma, and infectious pneumonia are common pulmonary inflammatory diseases worldwide. There is evidence that mitochondria produce a large amount of reactive oxygen species (ROS) when stimulated by inflammation, leading to oxidative stress that affects the onset and progression of pulmonary inflammatory diseases. With in-depth research, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has made significant progress in the treatment of pulmonary inflammatory diseases. An increasing amount of evidence indicates that single TCM and their active components, as well as TCM compound formulas, can improve mitochondrial oxidative stress status through multi-target and multi-pathway mechanisms, thereby effectively treating pulmonary inflammatory diseases. Currently, there is a lack of systematic review and summary of TCM research in this field both domestically and internationally. Therefore, this article aims to summarize and conclude the mechanisms by which TCM regulates mitochondrial oxidative stress to intervene in pulmonary inflammatory diseases, providing a scientific basis for its clinical application and offering new ideas and references for in-depth research on the prevention and treatment of pulmonary inflammatory diseases with TCM.
