Objective To study the effect of using handhold magnifier on reading speed in patients with low vision and normal-sighted people. Design Prospective,control study. Participants Low vision (13 patients)and normal-sighted readers (37 persons) who use handhold magnifiers or the first time. Method Nine-point text was read by normal vision subjects without magnifier and then with two magnifiers with different magnification (+10 D,+20 D) in different eye-to-magnifier distance (10 cm,35 cm). Nine-point text was also read by low vision people with magnifiers. The big printed text under the same magnification without magnifier was also read by low vision group. Reading speed was recorded. Main Outcome Measures Reading speed (words per minute). Result For normal vision subjects,reading speed without magnifier (194.6?45.2 words/min) is faster than that with a 10D magnifier in an eye-to-magnifier distance of 10cm (159.7?44.7 words/min) (P=0.001),and distance of 35cm (162.5?46.7words/min) (P=0.002),respectively. Objective To summarize the nursing experience of combination therapy of highly agglutinative staphylococcin (HASL) with cisplatin for patients with malignant pleural effusions. Methods After fully draining of pleural fluid in 62 cases with malignant pleural effusion through pleural puncture through central venous catheters and simply suction bottles, we injected HASL and cisplatin into the patients' pleural cavities. During the therapeutic process, firstly, we drained the pleural fluid fully before injection, secondly, we directed the patients to cooperate well and alter the positions properly, and thirdly, we closely observed the patients' condition and adverse reactions. Results 54 of 62 cases were effective after the therapies. The effective rate was 87.1%.Conclusions In order to achieve a satisfled curative effect and reduce the adverse reactions, we need the cooperation of the patients, fully draining of the pleural fluid before injection and proper alternation of the patients' positions during the treatment process.

Objective To construct Four in One informational teaching model based on cloud platforms, simulation training, nursing micro-lectures and multidimensional evaluation investigate, and to explore the effect of theFour in Oneinformational teaching model applied in Medical Nursing teaching. Methods Two classes students of 2014 were selected by randomized sampling and were divided into experiment group and control group, the experiment group operated the Four in One informational teaching mod, the control group operated regular teaching. After the experiment,using the medical nursing theory test, the skill test, the questionnaire survey to evaluate the teaching effectiveness. Results The theoretical examination score, skill examination score and overall results of experiment group were (78.81±6.44), (82.01±5.22), (80.41±6.32) points, while (71.12±8.12), (76.74±6.3), (75.57±5.51) points of control group, and the difference was statistically significant (t=5.47, 4.86, 3.22, P<0.01 or 0.05). The students' interested in the informational teaching model of the experimental group reached 78.72%(37/47) and learning satisfaction reached 91.48% (43/47). Conclusions The Four in One informational teaching model applied in Medical Nursing teaching can improve the study effect .

ObjectiveThe aim was to construct the recombinant plasmid of pET-28a-G-protein pathway suppressor 2 (GPS2) GPS2,express GPS2 protein in E.coli,and obtain specific polyclonal antiserum of GPS2.MethodsGPS2 gene was obtained and the amplified fragment was then cloned into E.coli expression vector pET-28a to construct recombinant plasmid.The recombinant plasmid was transformed into E.coli expression strain BL21(DE3).IPTG induces the expression protein GPS2 protein,and the induction conditions were optimized.The induced product was purified by Ni2+ affinity chromatography,and the purified product was dialyzed with buffer for refolding.The purified protein can be used as antigen,injected to immunize male New Zealand white rabbit to get polyclonal antiserum.The titer and specificity of the rabbit antiserum were detected by ELISA and Western Blotting.ResultsThe E.coli expression vector pET-28a-GPS2 was constructed successfully and the recombinant protein was efficiently expressed and purified.The purified protein was used to immunize male New Zealand white rabbit to get polyclonal antiserum and the ELISA and Western Blot results showed that the high titer of specific polyclonal antiserum.ConclusionGSP2 could be highly expressed in E.coli.Antiserum of GPS2 protein can be obtained by the purified recombinant to analyze its function.

Objective To analyze the clinical significance and features of patient s' with inconsistent antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies (ANCA) test results between indirect immune fluorescence (IIF) and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).Methods ANCA were detected with IIF and ELISA method jointly among 12 386 in-patients and a retrospective analysis on the proportion of clinical features and significance was made in 589 cases with inconsistent results using Microsoft Excel 2007 statistical software.Results Among the 589 patients,68 (11.5％) were diagnosed as vasculitis,in which 51 cases as ANCA-associated vasculitis,and 521(88.4％) were diagnosed as non-vasculitis including 181 connective disease and 340 non-connective diseases in which hypertension and cardiopathy were common.The common inconsistent results of ANCA were p-ANCA/ELISA (-),IIF (-)/anti-MPO (+),IIF (-)/anti-PR3 (+),IIF (-)/anti-PR3 (+) anti-MPO (+) accounted for 24.4％ (144/589),29.5％ (174/589),15.9％ (94/589),18.5％ (108/589) respectively,these accounted for 88.3％(520/589) of total inconsistency.Conclusion The spectrum of diseases and clinical characteristics varies widely and often presents with multiorgan involvement in patients with inconsistent ANCA results.These reasons make it easy to be misdiagnosed.Attention should be paid to identify and different these inconsistency.

Aim To investigate the effects of rosiglitazone(ROZ)combined with cisplatin(DDP)on the growth of transplanted lung adenocarcinoma in mice and the corresponding mechanism.Methods The human lung adenocarcinoma mode was established with A549 cell in nude mice.Twenty eight female Balb/c-nu mice with lung adenocarcinoma were randomly divided into seven groups.① control group;② low-dose DDP group(1 mg?kg-1);③ high-dose DDP group(4 mg?kg-1);④ low-dose ROZ group(10 mg?kg-1);⑤ high-dose ROZ group(30 mg?kg-1);⑥ low-dose DDP plus low-dose ROZ group;⑦ low-dose DDP plus high-dose ROZ group;all the mice were sacrificed at 48 h after the last injection.Subcutaneous tumor was subjected to histological examination.Expressions of PPAR?、PTEN and pAkt in tumor tissues were detected by immunohistochemistry.Results ① In every treatment group tumor growth was suppressed significantly.Intraperitoneal injection of low and high-dose DDP,low and high-dose ROZ,low-dose DDP plus low-dose ROZ and low-dose DDP plus high-dose ROZ group resulted in a significant inhibition of the growth of A549 cells in vivo compared with that of control group(P

Objective: To evaluate the clinical effects of troponin alone and troponin combining copeptin in early diagnosis of Non-ST segment elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI) by meta-analysis. Methods: We searched Medline, EMBASE, Cochrane, Pubmed, CNKI and Wanfang database (1995-01 to 2015-10) for the publications of troponin alone and troponin combining copeptin in early diagnosis of NSTEMI. Based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, we screened the literatures and evaluated their quality by QUADAS items. Manager 5.2 and Meta-DiSc 1.4 software were used to study the pooled sensitivity and speciifcity for troponin alone and troponin combining copeptin in NSTEMI early diagnosis, and to calculate the summary receiver operating characteristic curve (SROC) with the area under curve (AUC). Results: There were 11 articles including 1 Chinese article enrolled. For NSTEMI diagnosis, compared with troponin alone, troponin combining copeptin showed the higher sensitivity (90% vs 75%), but lower speciifcity (60% vs 87%). For SROC, both AUC were > 0.7, while the AUC of troponin combining copeptin was even lower (0.805 vs 0.891). Conclusion: Combination of troponin and copeptin had the better sensitivity for NSTEMI early diagnosis, although it with lower speciifcity while increased copeptin level might suggest the patients associated with other clinical conditions such as heart failure or stroke which were important in clinical practice.

ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical effect of pendulum and straight wire technology in patients with fully erupted second molar.MethodsPatients with Angle class Ⅱ malocclusion were chosen.Control group included patients without erupted second molar.Experimental group included patients with completely erupted second molar.Pendulums were used in two groups to distalize maxillary molars.Then straight wire orthodontic treatment had been performed until treatment was over.Cephalograms of each stage were analyzed.ResultsIn the experimental group,mesiobuccal cusp of first molar was distalized for 4.62 mm,geometric center was distalized for 3.75 mm,about 81 percent of the movement of mesiobuccal cusp.In control group,mesiobuccal cusp of first molar was dis talized for 5.78 mm,geometric center was distalized for 3.20 mm,about 55 percent of the movement of mesiobuccal cusp.It turned out first molar was distalized in both groups,but more rotation took place in control group than that in the experimental group.ConclusionsPendulum can distalize maxillary first and second molars in patients with completely erupted second molar.The pendulum and straight wire technology can treat these patients successfully.
