Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 1994;0(09):-
Objective To get a new approach to conserve the germplasm of Platycodon grandiflorum. Methods A method of vitrification was studied to cryopreserve in vitro shoot-tips of P. grandiflorum, and the regenerated plantlets were observed subsequently. Results Shoot-tips, 2—3 mm length, gotten from in vitro shoots of P. grandiflorum precultured on MS medium supplemented with 5% DMSO and 103 g/L sucrose for 3 d, were loaded with the 60% PVS_2 for 20 min at 20 ℃, and incubated in PVS_2 for 90 min at 0 ℃ prior to a direct plunging into liquid nitrogen (LN) and keeping for 1 d. After rapid thawing in water at 40 ℃, the shoot-tips were rinsed in the MS medium supplemented with 410 g/L sucrose for 20 min, and plated on the filter paper sustained by the MS regeneration medium supplemented with 0.6 mg/L KT, 0.2 mg/L BA, and 0.05 mg/L NAA for 1 d in dark and subcultured on the above regeneration medium for one week in dark prior to exposure to the light. The survival of shoot-tips was up to 80%, and they grew normally. Conclusion The method of vitrification to cryopreserve the germplasm of P. grandiflorum is simple in handling with high in survival and normal in regeneration and can be applied in practice.

Chinese Journal of Microbiology and Immunology 2009;29(7):581-585
Objective To discuss the role of p38MAPK signal pathway in the process of TWEAK inducing rheumatoid arthritis(RA) fibroblast-like synoviocyte(FLS) to synthesize MMP-9 and look for a new target for RA treatment. Methods RA FLS were primarily cultured and stimulated with TWEAK. Western blot was used to detect the expression of p-p38MAPK and p65 in RA FLS. FLS were pretreated by SB203580 or not. ELISA was used to detect the concentration of MMP-9 in cell-cultured fluid. The mRNA expression of MMP-9 was measured by RT-PCR. Results TWEAK( 100 ng/ml) can make p38MAPK phosphorylated and increased the expression of p65 protein in the cell nucleus. SB203580 can partially inhibit the expression of MMP-9 and MMP-9 mRNA produced by RA FLS which is induced by TWEAK. Conclusion TWEAK induced RA FLS to synthesize MMP-9, in that process, the p38MAPK signal trausduction pathway was in active state, and induced the expression of NF-κB.

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 2003;0(08):-
Lipoxygenase(LO) pathway had been implicated in the pathogenesis of such cardiovascular diseases as hypertension, atherosclerosis, restenosis, and palys and important role in the development of these disease. LO inhibitiors could suppress vascular contractile responses significantly, reduce blood pressure, inhibit migration of vascular smooth muscle cells(VSMC), attenuate neointimal thickening in the injuried arteries and generation reactive oxygen species(ROS), block monocyte binding to VSMC, etc. The effects of LO inhibitors were associated with marked inhibition of MAPK pathway. Therefore, inhibition of LO pathway may provide a new strategy for preventing and treating above diseases, suggesting that LO mat be a novel taget for such purposes.

Gut microbiota plays an important role in the maintenance of physiological function and genesis of some gut diseases. Brain-gut axis,as an important link between brain and gastrointestinal tract,is a requisite of gut microbiota stability. The dysfunction of brain-gut axis may lead to intestinal dysbiosis through activation of intestinal immune activity. Conversely, intestinal dysbiosis can influence nervous system development and may cause dysfunction of brain-gut axis,in which vagus nerve and metabolites in serum may be the critical factors. This article reviewed the advances in study on interaction between gut microbiota and brain-gut axis.

Chinese Journal of Blood Transfusion 1988;0(04):-
Objective Establishing a trapezoid micro-plate method to detect ABO blood group in serum. Methods Select 32 blood samples containing A,B,O or AB types randomly.Use orthogonal design principle to select the optimum conditions of the blood plasma dilution, erythrocytes density, temperature and static time. The mix-blood samples are serially diluted. The agglutinating and nonagglutinating gray zones are also defined.Based on the optimum conditions and criterions, the reproducibility test, sensitiveness test, accuracy test, lipaemia interference test and haemolysis interference test are carried out.6 ABO subgroup(AM,AX,A2B,A3B,AXB,BM) and 5 irregular antibody(anti-M,anti-N,anti-P1,anti-Leb,anti-HI) are detected to evaluate the ability of the trapezoid micro-plate method to detect special samples. Results The trapezoid micro-plate method's repetitiveness tests coincidence is 100%.Its sensitivity is identical to the test tube method. The accuracy is 99.99%.In the 47 various kinds of lipaemia blood samples' anti-interference tests, the correct interpretation at one time is 100%.In the haemolysis interference tests, when hemoglobin content are below 20g/L,there are no obvious influences found. When sever haemolysis appears(blood plasma hemoglobin content are above 20g/L),there is no effect on the agglutination, but make a difference to the nonagglutinating. The ability to dectect 6 ABO blood subgroups and 5 irregular antibody blood samples is great. Conclusion The trapezoid micro-plate method not only has good ability to detect the ABO blood group both in the red cell typing and serum typing, but also enhances the accuracy in detecting the agglutinating blood samples and improves the exactitude of the tests.
