3.Study on the effects of the TT1 prescription in treating light and medium hypertension without blood lipid metabolic disorder
Journal of Practical Medicine 2005;517(8):74-77
A controlled prospective study included 50 normal Swiss white mice and 62 patients with mild and moderate hypertension without blood lipid metabolic disorder were divided into two groups randomly. The control group: 31 patients treated by Caporil 25mg, two tablets twice daily, (at 12 hours intervals). The study group: 31 take a TT1 prescription daily within 28 days continuously. The result showed that: No acute toxicity from TT1 prescription on trial dose of white mice: 50g/kg. No side effects occur when the patient uses a TT1 prescription daily. No blood lipid metabolic disorder on mild and moderate hypertension patients. TT1 had clearly good efficacy on hypotension. This efficacy after two weeks treatment is less effective than Caporil 25mg, twice daily but equivalent with Caporil 25mg, twice daily after 4 weeks. Some symptoms such as dazzle, dizziness, headache, red face, red eyes, tightness on chest had improved by TT1 and it was much better than Caporil.

6.Study on the impacts of the TT2 prescription in treating hypertension in the patients with blood lipid metabolism disorder
Journal of Practical Medicine 2005;519(9):48-50
A study was carried out on 51 patients with hypertension and blood lipid metabolism disorder at the Clinic Department and Heart-Renal-Joint Department in the Military Traditional Hospital and at the General Enterology Department in the Son Tay Hospital from Feb 2004 to Sept 2004. The patients were divided into two groups: study group included 2 patients using a TT2 traditional repice/day for 28 days; control group included 9 patients using Caporil 25mg x 2 tablets/day for 28 days. 50 white mousses of Swiss species were provided by The National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology. TT2 experiment showed no acute toxicity with experimental dose 50g/1kg of mouse weight. Boiling and drinking a TT2 traditional repice/day did not cause any side effects. TT2 helps to decrease blood pressure significantly in patients with hypertension and blood lipid metabolism disorder. After 4 weeks, the blood pressure level in patients using TT2 is as equivalent as in patients using Caporil 25mg x 2 tablets/day. TT2 improves symptoms of the both of disease type: dizzy, headache, neck pain, dyspepsia, insomnia, lose appetite, red face, red eyes and constipation.

7.Contribution to the study on process of lipid peroxydation in cellular membran and modifications of some anti-oxydant enzymes during the storage process of erythrocytes
Pharmaceutical Journal 2005;0(5):11-13
Study on the peroxidation of membrane lipid and the change of some anti-oxidant enzymes during the storage of erythrocytes by additive system. The invitro study was conducted with two additive systems: one is the AS-T which is the first preparation in VN and the other is the preparation of Terumo, a leading company of the world on the blood preparations. The results demonstrate that the two systems are equally in the anti-peroxidation activation of membrance lipid. The ability to maintain enzyme activation of Superoxyd dismutase (SOD) and Gluathion peroxidase (GCH-Px) of erythrocytes during of storage process (from ) to 35 days), the erythrocyte mass which is preserved by AST solution abilize activity of SOD and GSH-Px better than by Terumo solution, with this result os signficant slower increasing of MDA concentration at the end of storage

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2022;39(1):112-119
Liposomes with precisely controlled composition are usually used as membrane model systems to investigate the fundamental interactions of membrane components under well-defined conditions. Hydration method is the most common method for liposome formation which is found to be influenced by composition of the medium. In this paper, the effects of small alcohol (ethanol) on the hydration of lipid molecules and the formation of liposomes were investigated, as well as its coexistence with sodium chloride. It was found that ethanol showed the opposite effect to that of sodium chloride on the hydration of lipid molecules and the formation of liposomes. The presence of ethanol promoted the formation of liposomes within a certain range of ethanol content, but that of sodium chloride suppressed the liposome formation. By investigating the fluorescence intensity and continuity of the swelled membranes as a function of contents of ethanol and sodium chloride, it was found that sodium chloride and ethanol showed the additive effect on the hydration of lipid molecules when they coexisted in the medium. The results may provide some reference for the efficient preparation of liposomes.

9.Lipid metabolic disorders in type 2 diabetics
Journal of Practical Medicine 2000;383(6):20-23
This study was carried out on 91 participants. They were divided into 2 groups: 60 patients with type 2 diabetic mellitus, aged more than 40 years were involved in one group and 31 non-diabetics matched by age were served as control group. Symptoms and complications of diabetes were determined by physical examination. Waist and hip circumferences were measured and BMI and waist to hip ratio was calculated. Fasting blood samples were collected and analyzed for glucose, total cholesterol, triglycerid, HDL-C, Apo A1 and Apo A2. The total cholesterol to HDL-C and Apo A1 to Apo A2 ratios were calculated from the result of lipid parameters. The findings of research suggested that the lipoprotein profile in type 2 diabetics was characterized by elevation of serum triglyceride, lowering in HDL-C and increasing in total cholesterol to HDL-C ratio. Most of patients a moderate BMI (53.44%) but the central obesity was common (63.71%). The waist circumference was positively correlated with triglyceride concentration (r = 0.3). The waist to hip ratio was negatively correlated with HDL-C concentration (r = -0.45) and positively correlated with total cholesterol to HDL-C ratio (r = 0.3).
