Objective To understand genomic copy number variations (CNVs) and ascertain karyotype for a 46,X0, + der(?) fetus, and investigate possibility and superiority of array-based comparative genomic hybridization (array-CGH ) in clinical cytogenetic diagnosis. Methods G-banded chromosome analysis was carried out. The whole genome of the fetus was scanned and analysed by array-CGH. The results of array-CGH were confirmed by RT-qPCR. Results G-banded chromosome analysis showed that the fetal karyotype was 46,X0, +der(?). Array-CGH revealed the derivative chromosome as Y chromosome without CNVs. A total number of 118 submicroscopic CNVs were identified. Comparable results between array-CGH and RT-qPCR were obtained for 9 novel CNVs. Conclusion Comparing with conventional cytogenetic analysis, array-CGH is of high resolution, high-throughput and high accuracy, which provides a technical platform for accurate detection of submicroscopic chromosomal aberrations.

Objective:To translate the English version of the Questionnaire Assessing the Childbirth Experience (QACE) into Chinese and test its reliability and validity, enriching the evaluation tools used for delivery experience in China, providing guidance for medical personnel to evaluate the delivery experience of mothers, and providing reference for improving the delivery experience of mothers in the future. Methods:Based on Beaton ′s cross-cultural debugging guide, the Chinese version of QACE was developed, including correct translation, comprehensive, back translation, expert consultation and pre-test. The reliability and validity of the questionnaire survey was carried out on 235 participants who visited the postpartum clinic in West China Second Hospital, Sichuan University and Mianyang Central Hospital. Results:In 235 participants, aged 20-29 years old with 79 cases, aged 30-39 years old with 152 years old, aged 40-43 years old with 4 cases. The Chinese version of QACE consisted of 4 dimensions (emotional state, relationship with medical staff, first time spent with newborns, and feelings after 1 month postpartum) and 13 items. The Cronbach α coefficient of the scale was 0.812, the Cronbach α coefficient of each dimension was 0.661-0.844, and the broken half reliability was 0.527. The scale level content validity index was 0.95. Four common factors were extracted by exploratory factor analysis, and the cumulative variance contribution rate was 67.682%. Conclusions:The Chinese version of QACE has significant reliability and validity, and can be used to evaluate maternal delivery experiences.

Objective:To explore the clinical value of shear wave elastography in the diagnosis and pathological classification of nephrotic syndrome. Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 43 patients with primary nephrotic syndrome (primary nephrotic syndrome group) diagnosed through renal biopsy at the Yongchuan Hospital Affiliated to Chongqing Medical University from June 2022 to March 2023. They were further divided into three subgroups: mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis group, membranous nephropathy group, and minimal change nephropathy group. Another 30 healthy individuals were selected as the control group. We applied shear wave elastography to measure the shear wave velocity of the right renal lower pole parenchyma and statistically analyzed the differences in shear wave velocity between each group. Results:There was a statistically significant difference in shear wave velocity between the primary nephrotic syndrome group [(1.76±0.41)m/s] and the control group [(1.55±0.34)m/s] ( P<0.05); The shear wave velocity in the membranous nephropathy group [(1.97±0.36)m/s] was the highest, and there was a statistically significant difference ( P<0.05) compared to the small lesion nephropathy group [(1.54±0.42)m/s]; There was no statistically significant difference in shear wave velocity between the membranous nephropathy group and the mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis group [(1.74±0.38)m/s], as well as between the mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis group and the small lesion nephropathy group (all P>0.05). Conclusions:Shear wave elastography is a non-invasive examination that provides valuable clinical clues for the diagnosis and pathological classification of nephrotic syndrome by detecting the shear wave velocity of the kidney.

Objective To compare the effect of three-dimensional visual (3DV) model, three-dimensional printing (3DP) model and computer-aided design (CAD) modified 3DP model in video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) sublobular resection. Methods The clinical data of patients who underwent VATS sublobular resection in the Affiliated Hospital of Hebei University from November 2021 to August 2022 were retrospectively analyzed. The patients were divided into 3 groups including a 3DV group, a 3DP group and a CAD-3DP group according to the tools used. The perioperative indexes and subjective evaluation of operators, patients and their families were compared. Results A total of 22 patients were included. There were 5 males and 17 females aged 32-77 (56.95±12.50) years. There were 9 patients in the 3DV group, 6 patients in the 3DP group, and 7 patients in the CAD-3DP group. There was no statistical difference in the operation time, intraoperative blood loss, drainage volume, hospital stay time or postoperative complications among the groups (P>0.05). Based on the subjective evaluations of 4 surgeons, the CAD-3DP group was better than the 3DV group in the preoperative planning efficiency (P=0.025), intuitiveness (P=0.045) and doctor-patient communication difficulty (P=0.034); the CAD-3DP group was also better than the 3DP group in the overall satisfaction (P=0.023), preoperative planning difficulty (P=0.046) and efficiency (P=0.014). Based on the subjective evaluations of patients and their families, the CAD-3DP group was better than the 3DP group in helping understand the vessel around the tumor (P=0.016), surgical procedure (P=0.020), procedure selection (P=0.029), and overall satisfaction (P=0.048); the CAD-3DP group was better than the 3DV group in helping understand the tumor size (P=0.038). Conclusion CAD-modified 3DP model has certain advantages in pre-planning, intraoperative navigation and doctor-patient communication in the VATS sublobectomy.
