Objective To construct a design of northwest region army pilot health management based on modularization, which will provide basis for the management of army pilot health management. Methods Using Delphi method, three rounds of questionnaires were done within 30 experts, to build the design of northwest region army pilot health management based on modularization, which contained information module, management module, implementation module, update module and system flow module. Results The experts′ authority coefficient was 0.850, coefficient of determination was 0.865, and familiar coefficient was 0.870. The design of northwest region army pilot health management was determined to contain 5 first-level indicators, 19 secondary indexes. The coordination coefficients of the three level indicators were 0.624 and 0.543,respectively, and the contrast of coordination coefficients had statistical significance (P < 0.01). Conclusions The design of northwest region army pilot health management based on modularization constructed by Delphi method is proved to be scientific, reliable and practical, which can provide the basis for the health management of northwest region army pilot.

Objective To investigate the impact of high plasma LDL-C level with or without metabolic syndrome(MS) on the incidence of stroke in Chinese adults. Methods Totally 42 626 subjects (25 -75 years old) from Chinese National Health and Nutrition Survey in 2002 were stratified four groups based on plasma LDL-C level: < 2. 00 mmol/L group, 2. 00 -2. 50 mmol/L group, 2. 51 -3.31 mmol/L group, and ≥ 3.32 mmol/L group. The prevalence of MS (with 2005 International Diabetes Federation criteria) and stroke and the risk factors of stroke were compared among the four groups. Results ( 1 ) The prevalence of MS and stroke increased with rising of LDL-C level. The prevalence of MS in LDL-C≥3. 32 mmol/L group increased 2. 5 times (7, 9% vs 20. 1% ) as compared with that in LDL-C < 2. 00 mmol/L group and the prevalence of stroke increased 4. 2 times(0. 5% vs 2. 1% ), all P <0. 01. (2) In subjects with similar LDL-C level, the prevalence of stroke was significantly higher in a subgroup with MS than that without (P <0. 01 ). (3) After adjustment for age, sex and smoking, logistic regression analysis showed that both LDL-C level and MS were positively associated with the development of stroke; the odds ratio (OR) was 2. 35 and 3. 15 ( P < 0. 0001 ), respectively. (4) Compared with the subgroup of LDL-C < 2. 00 mmol/L without MS, OR for stroke in the subgroups of LDL-C 2. 00 -2. 50 mmol/L, 2. 51 -3. 31 mmol/L, and ≥ 3. 32 mmol / L without MS was 1.03, 1. 89, and 2.08, whereas the OR for stroke in the subgroups with MS and similar level of LDL-C was 4. 38, 5.23 and 6. 15 ; this indicated that the risk of stroke in subjects with MS increased by 3 - 4 times compared with subjects without ( P < 0. 0001 ). Conclusion Both high LDL-C level and MS are independent risk factors of stroke, but the risk of stroke will be further increased in the presence of high LDL-C level plus MS. It is suggested that combined intervention therapy of LDL-C and MS will play an important role in the prevention of stroke.

Objective: TO explore the effect of VEGF-C gene transfection on the expression of VEGF-C in human cervical carcinoma HeLa cells and the mechanisms of its anti-apoptosis effect. Methods: The con-structed pcDNA3.1(+)NEGF-C vector was transformed into human cervical cancer HeLa cells and was select-ed by G418. The changes in the expression level of VEGF-C mRNA and protein were determined by semi-quantitive RT-PCR and ELISA. HeLa cells with overexpression of VEGF-C were named as HeLa/S1. The expression level of NF-KB and bcl-2 mRNA was determined by RT-PCR in transfected cells. Results: After transfection by liposome, the VEGF-C mRNA level and the expression of VEGF-C protein in transfected cells were higher than those in the control groups. HeLa/S1 cell line was successfully established. In HeLa/S1 cells, the expression of NF-κB (2.06±0.09 vs 1.35±0.02 vs 1.38±0.02 P<0.05) and bcl-2 gene mRNA (2.02± 0.67 vs 0.41±0.06 vs 0.37±0.06, P<0.05) level were higher than those in the control groups. Conclusion: VEGF-C gene transfection by liposome can increase the expression of VEGF-C in human cervical cancer HeLa cells. NF-κB is stimulated and induces the overexpression of bcl-2 gene in HeLa/S1 cells.

Objective To investigate the indirect decompression effect of oblique lateral interbody fusion (OLIF) in the treatment of mild to moderate degenerative lumbar stenosis. Methods From October 2014 to November 2016,23 patients with mild to moderate lumbar spinal stenosis underwent OLIF combined with or without posterior pedicle screw fixation;9 males and 14 females with average age of 59.2±11.6 years old;8 cases at L3,4 segment and 15 cases at L4,5 segment. All cases were followed up for more than 6 months.Thin layer scanning of CT and two-dimensional reconstruction images were used to measure the vertical diameter and area of intervertebral foramen.Intervertebral disc height and spinal canal anteroposterior diameter were measured on median sagittal MRI sequence, and the anteroposterior diameter and the cross-sectional area of the spinal canal were measured on cross-sectional MRI sequence. The clinical effects were assessed by the visual analogue score (VAS) and the Oswestry disability index (ODI) for low back pain, lower limb pain and lower limb numbness. Results Compared with those measurements pre-operatively,the post-operative intervertebral disc height increased by 78.6%±13.4%.The post-operative left vertical diameter of intervertebral foramen increased by 36.7%±7.8%,and the post-operative left area of intervertebral foramen increased by 36.6%± 8.7%,and the post-operative right vertical diameter of intervertebral foramen increased by 40.7%±9.6%,and the post-operative right area of intervertebral foramen increased by 40.0%±8.9%.The post-operative anteroposterior diameter of sagittal spinal canal were increased 32.6% ± 5.9%,and the post-operative anteroposterior diameter of cross-sectional spinal canal were increased 34.4%±6.8%,and the post-operative cross-sectional area of the spinal canal were increased 47.5%±7.2%.All of the differences were statistically significant between pre-operative and post-operative measurements. The VAS score for low back pain was 6.2± 1.7 pre-operatively,and 1.1±0.5 post-operatively.The ODI for low back pain was 81.2%± 18.2% pre-operatively,and 6.1%±2.0% post-operatively.The VAS score for lower limb pain was 5.6±1.4 pre-operatively,and 0.8±0.3 post-operatively.And the VAS score for lower limb numbness was 6.6±2.0 pre-operatively,and 3.4± 1.2 post-operatively.All of the differences were statistically significant between pre-operative and post-operative evaluations. Conclusion There were obvious radiological evidences and remarkable clinical effect of indirect decompression using OLIF technique in treatment of mild to moderate lumbar spinal stenosis at early post-operative stage. However further long-term follow-up studies with multicenter large sample were still needed.
