Objective To explore the risk factors of Qi deficiency syndrome of type 2 diabetes mellitus and to provide evidence for prevention and cure diabetes mellitus with TCM.Methods On the basisof the epidemiological survey,147 cases of Type 2 diabetes mellitus were collected and divided into Qi deficiency syndrome group and non-Qi deficiency syndrome group. The relationships between risk factors and Qi deficiency syndrome were analyzed by unconditional univariate and multivariate Logistic regression. Results Two hours postprandial blood sugar[2PPBS (β value is-0.764,OR (95%CI) is 0.466 (0.236 ~ 0.919)],apolipoprotein-B [APo-B (β value is-1.005,OR (95%CI)is 0.366 (0.140~0.959)],urine glucose [β value is-1.300,OR(95%CI)is 0.273 (0.127~0.584)] were inverse correlation with Qi deficiency syndrome of type 2 diabetes mellitus. Conclusion Qi deficiency syndrome of type 2 diabetes mellitus was inverse correlation with 2PPBS、APo-B and urine glucose.

Objective To establish the decision tree model of Yang deficiency syndrome and clinical conventional indexes in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients. Methods Syndrome decision and clinical indexes collection from 249 type 2 diabetes mellitus patient were observed and analyzed.Tree structure model were built to summarize the correspondence between Yang deficiency syndrome and clinical conventional indexes based on T test, nonparametric analysis, and Spearman correlation analysis. Results The Yang deficiency syndrome accounted for 31.33% of 249 type 2 diabetes mellitus patients. The accuracy identification rate of tree structure model of Yang deficiency syndrome with four core index, such as LPa、FT3、TSH、FINS was 84.74%,the sensitivity and specificity were 74.36% and 89.47%.Conclusion Decision tree model can identify Yang deficiency syndrome of type 2 diabetes mellitus patients clearly and more intuitive.Decision tree model can provide the chance of syndrome objective.

Objective·To analyze the choice of smoking cessation methods and its influencing factors in moderate-to-severe nicotine-dependent population. Methods·A retrospective clinical analysis was conducted for170 moderate-to-severe nicotine-dependent smoking-quitters (Fagerstr(o)m scale ≥ 4).Different smoking cessation methods (pharmacotherapy and non-pharmacotherapy) and abstinence rates of the selected population (7 d point prevalence abstinence rates and sustained abstinence rates 1,3,and 6 months after treatment) were compared and possible influencing factors were analyzed. Results·The differences in choosing the smoking cessation method in moderate-to-severe nicotine-dependent population with different ages, levels of education, and employment status were statistically significant (P=0.000).The Logistics regression analysis showed that the level of education was the major factor for choosing the smoking cessation method (P=0.006).The 7 d prevalence abstinence rate was much lower for pharmacotherapy than for non-pharmacotherapy 1 month after treatment (P=0.000) and was much higher for pharmacotherapy than for non-pharmacotherapy 3 and 6 months after treatment (P=0.000).The sustained abstinence rate was much higher for pharmacotherapy than for non-pharmacotherapy 3 and 6 months after treatment (P=0.002,P=0.000).Conclusion·For moderate-to-severe nicotine-dependent smoking-quitters,attention should be paid to the formulation and implementation of personalized strategies. The choice of smoking cessation methods depends on the age, level of education, and employment status.Reasonable pharmacotherapies can significantly increase the abstinence rate.

OBJECTIVE:
To discuss the multiple-frequency probe tones tympanograms and the normal ranges of admittance, susceptance and conductance in normal newborns.
METHOD:
Tympanometries with 226 Hz, 678 Hz and 1000 Hz probe tones were obtained from newborn infants with normal TEOAE and DPOAE(55 infants, 110 ears), analysed multiple-frequency prone tones tympanograms and values of admittance, susceptance and conductance by using GSI-33 middle ear analyzer.
RESULT:
226 Hz tympanograms for admittance, susceptance and conductance main were W-shaped, the percentages were 90.0%, 99.1% and 85.5%. 678 Hz tympanograms for admittance, susceptance and conductance main were single-peaked, the percentages of single-peaked type were 62.7%, 77.3% and 62.7%, and the percentages of W-shaped type were 34.6%, 20.9% and 31.8%, had a little three-peaked type. 1000 Hz tympanograms for admittance, susceptance and conductance main were single-peaked, and percentages were 96.4%, 99.1% and 97.3%, and had a little W-shape type but no three-peaked type. There were significant differences between admittance and susceptance, susceptance and conductance in 226 Hz and 678 Hz probe tones tympanogram. There were significant differences between admittance and susceptance, susceptance and conductance, admittance and conductance in 1000 Hz probe tones tympanogram.
CONCLUSION
Multiple-frequency probe tones tympanograms and the normal ranges of admittance, susceptance and conductance of normal newborn infants is obtained, and 1000 Hz probe tone tympanometry is a sensitive test for function of middle ear in newborn infants.
