Objective To observe the influence of systemic and intraperitoneal hyperthermic perfusion chemotherapy on serum vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) and human epididymis protein 4 (HE4) in patients with ovarian cancer.Methods 116 cases with ovarian cancer were,randomly divided into the observation group and the control group according to the number table,58 cases in each group.The observation group was given systemic and intraperitoneal hyperthermic perfusion chemotherapy,and the control group received systemic chemotherapy,they all completed a total of two cycles of chemotherapy.Serum VEGF and HE4 were measured before and after chemotherapy.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 74.1％,and that was 56.9％ of the control group,the difference was significant (x2 =4.290,P ＜ 0.05).After chemotherapy,the serum VEGF and HE4 were signifi cantly decreased in two groups,and compared with the control group,the observation group decreased more significantly(t =3.180,2.725,all P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Systemic and intraperitoneal hyperthermic perfusion chemotherapy in treatment of patients with ovarian cancer can significantly reduce serum VEGF and HE4.

Objective To observe the effect of neoadjuvant chemotherapy for patients with advanced cervical cancer.Methods According to the digital table ,106 patients with advanced cervical cancer were randomly divided into the two groups ,53 cases in each group .The observation group was given TP Scheme neoadjuvant chemotherapy before surgery ,the control group underwent surgery directly .The total effective rate of chemotherapy and the changes of diameter of tumor before and after chemotherapy were observed .The serum levels of vascular endothelial growth fac-tor(VEGF) and matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9) of the observation group were detected ,and the operation condi-tions were compared between the two groups .Results After chemotherapy ,the total effective rate of the observation group was 60.4%.Before and after chemotherapy ,the average tumor diameter of the observation group was (5.24 ± 1.35)cm,(2.64 ±0.67)cm,respectively,the difference was significant (t=3.947,P<0.05).The operative time, blood loss and lymph node metastasis in the observation group were significantly less than those in the control group (t=3.725,5.392,χ2 =4.28,P<0.05 or P<0.01).After chemotherapy,the serum levels of VEGF and MMP-9 were significantly lower than that before chemotherapy (t=3.130,4.724,all P<0.05).Conclusion Neoadjuvant chemotherapy in the treatment of advanced cervical cancer can significantly reduce serum VEGF and MMP-9 expression.

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of combined needle-embedding and SSRIs for depressive sleep disorder. Method: Upon admission, 71 depression cases were randomized into needle-embedding group of 24 cases, using combined needle-embedding and SSRIs, acupuncture group of 21 cases, using combined acupuncture and SSRIs, and medication group of 26 cases, using SSRIs alone. After 1, 2, 4 and 6 weeks of treatment, the HAMD sleep scores were compared. Result: The HAMD sleep scores in the needle-embedding and acupuncture group were remarkably superior to the medication group and there was significant statistical difference after 1, 2 and 4 weeks of treatment (P<0.01). However, there was no statistical difference after 6 weeks of treatment. Conclusion: SSRIs can improve HAMD sleep scores. The combined needle-embedding or acupuncture with SSRIs can work faster and better than medication alone. There was no statistical difference between needle-embedding and acupuncture group, however, needle-embedding can reduce the treatment frequencies and therefore has more active clinical meaning.

Objective To explore the effect of mefformin on glucose metabolism of rat myoblast with high fat environment.Methods The skeletal muscles of suckling Wister rats were subjected to primary culture.The myoblasts of passage 5 were divided into 5 groups:The control group was cultured in DMEM with 0.5％ BSA for 12 h.The high-fat group was exposed to 0.3 mmol/L palmitic acid for 12 h.On the basis of high-fat treatment,three intervention groups were added with 2.5,5.0 and 7.5 μg/ml metformin,respectively,for additional 24 h.Isotope tracer method was conducted to show the influence on 2-dexoy-D-[3H]glucose uptake of rat myoblast.Results With the increasing concentration of mefformin,[3H]-G uptake elevated [ ( 1.83 ± 0.34) 10-2pmd/( min · g) vs (2.33 ± 0.47 ) 10-2 pmd/( min · g),P ＜ 0.05 ],and the group of 7.5 μg/ml metformin uptakes the most.Conclusions Metformin can upregulate the glucose-uptake in rat myoblasts under the environment of high fat,and it shows a dose-dependent relationship.

ObjectiveTo study the effect of Ghrelin on activation of UCP3 and phosphorylation of ACC under the high fat environment in rat myoblast,and to support the study on prevention of type 2 diabetes.MethodsThe rat myoblast were exposed to 0.3 mmol/L palmitic acid for 12 h,at the same time,10-11 mol/L,10-9 mol/L,10-7 mol/L Ghrelin were added.The expression of UCP3 mRNA was determined by RT-PCR.The protein levels of UCP3 and p-ACC were measured by western blotting.ResultsCompared with the control group,UCP3 mRNA and the protein levels of UCP3 and p-ACC were obviously decreased in 0.3 mmol/L PA group(UCP3 mRNA:P =0.000,UCP3 protein levels:P =0.000,p-ACC protein levels:P =0.003).Compared with the 0.3 mmol/L PA group,with the increasing concentration of Ghrelin,UCP3 mRNA and the protein levels of UCP3 and p-ACC were elevated.The effects of 10-7 mol/L Ghrelin were significant(UCP3 mRNA:P =0.017,UCP3 protein levels:P =0.000,p-ACC protein levels:P =0.007).ConclusionsGhrelin could enhance activation of UCP3 and phosphorylation of ACC under high fat environment in rat myoblast.

Two cases of nevus of Ota resistant to multiple sessions of Q-switched laser treatment are reported.Both of the patients were females,who developed beige or blue patches on the left side of the face (zygomatic region,cheek)several months after birth.No conjunctiva or sclera was involved.The lesions spread to the left retroauricular region and posterior neck during pregnancy in one patient.Histopathological examination of the lesions showed scattered melanocytes and melanophages in lower dermis and subcutaneous adipose tissue as well as apparent proliferation of collagen.Immunostaining for CD34 showed no abnormality in the distribution of vascular endothelial cells in these tissues.No obvious improvement was observed in either of the patient after more than 10 sessions(12 sessions in 1 case,and 13 sessions in the other case)of treatments with Q-switched alexandrite(755 nm)or Q-switched Nd:YAG laser(1064 nm).The immediate response of lesions to laser irradiation was unusual.Purpura or errhysis was absent in the lesions after repetitive irradiation with high-energy laser,but both were visible in the adjacent normal skin even after irradiation with low-energy laser.

Objective To investigate the relationship between the onset of lower extremity venous thrombotic disease and seasons.Methods A retrospective study was conducted, 300 patients with lower extremity venous thrombotic disease admitted to HandanCity Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) from August 2012 to February 2014 were enrolled, the incidences and TCM syndromes of patients with lower extremity venous thrombotic disease in different seasons were observed, and the pathogenesis and relationships between the types of TCM syndrome and seasons were analyzed.Results There were 142 patients with lower extremity superficial thrombophlebitis, and 158 cases with lower extremity deep venous thrombosis, the incidence of lower extremity venous thrombotic disease in spring was significantly higher than that in summer and autumn [32.8% (86/262) vs. 21.3% (54/254), 18.4% (50/272), bothP < 0.01], but lower than that in winter [32.8% (86/262) vs. 37.2% (110/296)], the difference was not statistically significant (P > 0.01); while the incidence of lower extremity venous thrombotic disease in winter was significant higher than those in summer and autumn (allP < 0.01). The incidences of damp and heat downward flow type in autumn and summer were increased compared with those in winter and spring [55.6% (30/54), 60.0% (30/50) vs. 20.0% (22/110), 23.3% (20/86), allP < 0.01], while the incidences of lower extremity venous thrombotic disease with damp heat and stasis syndrome in winter and spring were increased compared with those in summer and autumn seasons [80.0% (88/110), 76.7% (66/86) vs. 44.4% (24/54), 40.0% (20/50)].Conclusions The incidence of lower extremity venous thrombotic disease is related to seasons, and the onset is high in winter and spring, damp heat and stasis syndrome being the main type; according to different seasons, clinical treatment can direct to different pathogenic factors to adopt different preventive measures interfering with the patient's constitution in order to eliminate or reduce the risk factors, achieving the effect of the disease prevention.

Objective To investigate the interconnection of the executive control network in major depressive disorder when they recognized the sad facial stimuli,and to discuss the aberrant mechanism of emotion processing.Methods Twenty major depressive patients and 20 well-matched healthy volunteers participated in the experiment.The brain actions of all subjects were recorded by the magnetoencephalography (MEG) when they were required to distinguish the emotion face.Based on prior knowledge,the interested brain area consisted of the primary visual cortex (V1),the orbitofrontal cortex(OFC),the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC),the anterior cingulated cortex (ACC).Then constructing three competing models to select an optimal model by the method of dynamic causal model(DCM),finally the differences of the effective connections of the optimal model between the depressed patients and healthy controls were analyzed.Results According to the results of Bayesian model selection (BMS),model 1 had the most exceedance probability of 0.80 with the features that there were bidirectional modulatory connections between the OFC,ACC and DLPFC.Given the best model,the parameters of effective connectivity of the optimal model were extracted,and then two-sample t-test over the model 1 was adopted.The modulatory effective connectivity from the OFC to the DLPFC in both hemisphere(t=-2.73,P=0.0096;t=-3.01,P=0.0046) and the OFC to the ACC (t=-2.93,P=0.0057) in the left hemisphere were significantly reduced in MDD.Conclusion There exists abnormal function of executive control network in depressed patients,the decreased effective connections between the OFC and the DLPFC,as well as the OFC and the ACC,may have correlation with the negative

Objective To analyze the effect of adjustments of control strategy on epidemic trend of iodine deficiency disorders (IDD) in Shanxi Province after universal salt iodization (USI),and to provide basis for timely adopting targeted control countermeasure and scientifically adjusting intervention strategy.Methods A method of retrospective analysis was performed to collect data from IDD surveillance at national or province levels after 1995,and from iodized salt surveillance of the province after 2004.According to the statistics and analysis of children's goiter rate,median urinary,median and mean of salt iodine,coverage rate of iodized salt,qualified rate of iodized salt,consumption rate of qualified iodized salt and their relationship.Results Since 1995,the children's goiter rate by palpation and B-ultrasound showed a steady descending trend.The median salt iodine,mean salt iodine and children's median urinary iodine showed a trend of rise→decline→stable→decline.Namely:The three indicators began to rise year by year from 1995 (29.1 mg/kg,31.7 ± 15.0 mg/kg,199.3 μg/L),in 1999 (48.7 mg/kg,53.4 ± 29.4 mg/kg,407.5 μg/L) reached its climax; and then decreased,in 2001 (34.7 mg/kg,36.2 ± 11.9 mg/kg,282.1 μg/L)stoped; which were basically stable from 2001 to 2011; since 2013 (26.0 mg/kg,26.5 ± 6.3 mg/kg,192.0 μg/L),a significant decline began.The rate and edible rate of qualified iodized salt showed a trend of decline→rise→stable.Two indexes began to decline circuitously from 1995 (72.61％,68.25％),and dipped to a low point in 1999 (44.80％,43.67％); then began to rise,until 2002 (94.73％,91.80％) reached basic stability; and remained steady from 2002 to 2013.Conclusions Following the process of prevention and treatment of IDD for more than 30 years in Shanxi Province,with the depth understanding of the range of adequate iodine nutrition,according to the monitoringfeedback mechanism,the strategy of salt iodization has been adjusted several times,the target of continuous elimination of IDD has achieved since 2000 and the levels of iodine nutrition in population are more reasonable.Salt iodization strategy should continue to adhere to.
