Chinese Pediatric Emergency Medicine 2014;21(10):637-640
Objective To explore the diffusion-weighted magnetic resonance imaging (DWI) and apparent dispersion coefficient(ADC) value in cerebral infarction diagnosis and judgment of cerebral infarction outcome and staging of the value. Methods According to different stages,26 patients were divided into 3 phases, phase Ⅰ (6 ~72 h) had 11 cases, phase Ⅱ (4 ~ 10 d) had 12 cases, phase Ⅲ (10 d later) had 9 cases,of which 3 cases were reviewed,3 cases were recurrence of cerebral infarction. Each patient's MRI included T1 weighted imaging,T2 weighted imaging,DWI and ADC sequence scan image reconstruction, the ADC map obtained one regions of interest (ROI),and the mean ADC value of ROI were calculated, the average ADC value of the corresponding contralateral area were also calculated by the same method, and then the mean relative ADC value were calculated. Results DWI image of all cases showed high signal,11 cases showed high signal and 1 case showed low signal in phase Ⅱ.In phase Ⅲ,1 case showed normal signal and 1 case showed high signal,2 cases showed mixed signal,1 case were reduced, and the rest were all low signal.Compared with the contralateral corresponding region, the average ADC values were reduced in phase Ⅰ.The infarction average ADC values were 0.434 × 10 3mm2/s,0.653 × 10-3mm2/s,1.600 × 10-3mm2/s in phase Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ respectively, and the average ADC values of contralateral corresponding region were 0.938 × 10-3 mm2/s,0.814 × 10-3 mm2/s,0.757 × 10-3 mm2/s respectively; the mean relative ADC values were (51.5 ±16.8)%,(79.2 ±30.0)%,(210.9 ±45.1)% in phase Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ respectively (P < 0.05).Conclusion ADC value of cerebral lesions area and relative ADC value of the variation in time provides an objective basis for the diagnosis of DWI,contributes to timely and accurately determine the age of cerebral lesions and pathophysiology of the changes.

Purpose:Cochlear implant is a sort of device which is used to restore normal heating for the profoundly deaf by electrical stimulation of the auditory nerve.Simulation of multiple channels demonstrates that the number of channels has significant influence on sound effect.Method:This paper reviews the Continuous Interleaved Sampling (CIS) strategy for cochlear implants, and simulates it in PC.The audible sound of cochlear implanter is synthesized, and preliminary analysis of the speech identification rate of CIS strategy in different channels has also been done based on the simulation.Result:CIS strategy using 6 or 8 channels can achieve better sound effect .Conclusion:Simulation results show that CIS strategy with envelope extraction and high number of channels can produce satisfactory speech synthesis effect

In the design of oral cone beam CT, cooperation between synergic control of X-ray source, real-time acquisition of flat detector and motion of mechanical structure affects the CT image quality. Based on the full analysis of the flat detector's timing signal characteristics, this research was carried out with microprocessor controller (MCU), complex programmable logic device (CPLD), and light couplings to design and realize synchronous exposure control system. To evaluate whether the design of the synchronous exposure control system in this project could reach the required imaging accuracy, we employed the projected images in the system to analyze its stability, linear consistency, signal to noise ratio and precede the FDK construction.

Generally, pencil beam kernels for photon beam calculation are obtained through Monte Carlo calculations. In this paper,a pencil beam model is set up with a method of deconvolution from measured broad beam profiles. These profiles are usually available in a radiotherapy planning system.Furthermore, this method is applied to computing dose distributions at different sizes.Comparisons with measurements show that the accuracy of the calculated dose distributions fits well in a1%error interval in high dose gradient regions.

Ninety elderly patients with coronary heart disease were randomly divided into 2 groups:in study group (n = 45) the cognitive-behavioral intervention as well as conventional medical treatment were performed and in control group ( n = 45 ) only conventional treatment was given. Short Form-36 ( SF-36),symptom checklist 90(SCL-90), Hamilton anxiety scale( HAMA), Hamilton depression scale( HAMD)were evaluated before and after intervention, the serum total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG)and body mass index (BMI)were measured, the smoking and drinking behaviors were recorded. After 6-month of intervention the smoking [(0. 6 ± 0. 2)cigarettes/d] and drinking [(10. 1 ± 2. 3)g/d] behaviors, the scores of SF-36 (85 ± 16), SCL-90 (104 ±4), HAMA (10 ±4) and HAMD (12 ±3), the systolic blood pressure [( 123 ± 11 ) mm Hg ( 1 mm Hg = 0. 133 kPa)], diastolic blood pressure [(77 ± 5 ) mm Hg], the fasting blood glucose [(4. 2 ± 2. 6 ) mmol/L] and BMI ( 22.5 ± 0. 5 ) in study group were significantly improved compared to control group ( P < 0. 01 ). The results indicate that cognitive-behavioral intervention can improve the mental state and quality of life in elderly patients with coronary heart disease.
