OBJECTIVETo compare the efficacy differences on delayed encephalopathy after carbon monoxide poisoning (DEACMP) between acupuncture to restore consciousness combined with hyperbaric oxygen treatment and simple hyperbaric oxygen treatment.

METHODSForty-one patients with DEACMP were randomly divided into an observation group (21 cases) and a control group (20 cases). In the observation group, acupuncture was applied at Neiguan (PC 6), Shuigou (GV 26), Baihui (GV 20), Sishencong (EX-HN 1), Fengchi (GB 20), Hegu (LI 4), Sanyinjiao (SP 6) and Taichong (LR 3), and hyperbaric oxygen treatment was given as well. In the control group, simple hyperbaric oxygen treatment was used. The treatment was adopted once every day, and continuous 5 days' treatment made one session in the two groups. There were two days at the interval between two sessions and 6 sessions in the two groups. The changes of scores of mini mental state examination (MMSE) and Barthel index (BI) for activity of daily life and routine electroencephalogram (EEG) before and after treatment were compared.

RESULTSAfter treatment, the scores of MMSE and BI and EEG were all improved compared with those before treatment (all P<0.01). The raise of the scores of MMSE and BI in the observation group was more obvious than that in the control group (both P<0.05) and the improvement of EEG abnormal condition in the observation group was also superior to that in the control group after treatment (P<0.05).

CONCLUSIONAcupuncture to restore consciousness combined with hyperbaric oxygen could obviously improve the cognitive function, activity of daily life and changes of EEG, and it is better than simple hyperbaric oxygen treatment.

TGR5,expressing in many tissue cells,is a kind of bile acid membrane receptor and participates in a variety of metabolic and immune diseases.Activated TGR5 can keep the metabolism system in a steady state by mediating the metabolism of bile acid,lipid,and blood sugar,reducing insulin resistance and increasing the body's energy consumption; TGR5 could regulate the immune responses of mononuclear cell and Kupffer cell in the liver.For example,it can regulate the adaptive immune response by inhibiting the expression and release of inflammatory cytokines in Kupffer cells,and regulating the differentiation and maturation of dendritic cells.This review mainly focused on the function of TGR5 in liver metabolism and immune and further explored the related mechanism,as well as its clinical significance in related liver diseases.

Objective To evaluate the value of multi-slice CT(MSCT)classification in the assessment of the hilar cholangiocarcinoma resectahility.Methods Thirty patients with surgically and histopathologically proved hilar cholangiocarcinomas who underwent preoperative MSCT and were diagnosed correctly were included in present study.Transverse images and reconstructed MPR images were reviewed for Bismuth-Corlette classification and morphological classification of hilar cholangiocarcinoma.Thcn MSCT classification was compared with findings of surgery and histopathology.Curative resectabilty of different types according to Bismuth-Corlette classification and morphological classification were analyzed with chi-square test.Results In 30 cases,the numbers of Type Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲa,Ⅲb and Ⅳ according to BismuthCorlette classification were 1,3,4,5 and 17.Seventeen patients underwent curative resections,among which 1,2,1,4 and 9 belonged to Type Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲa,Ⅲb and Ⅳ respectively.However,there was no significant difference in curative resectability among different types of Bismuth-Corlette classification(X2=0.9875.P＞0.05).In present study,the accuracy of MSCT in Bismuth-Corlette classification reached 86.7%(26/30).The numbers of periducatal infiltrating,mass forming and intraductal growing type were 13,13 and 4,while 6,8 and 3 cases of each type underwent curative resections.There was no significant difference in curative resectability among different types of morphological classification(X2=1.2583,P＞0.05).The accuracy of MSCT in morphological classification was 100%(30/30)in this study group.Conclusion MSCT can make accurate diagnosis of Bismuth-Corlette classification and morphological classification.which is helpful in preoperative respectability assessment of hilar cholangiocarcinoma.

Objective To observe the effect of application of Lamaze childbirth method in childbirth. Methods The observation group(110 cases)was trained by Lamaze childbirth method in late pregnancy period. The control group (110 cases) was not trained by Lamase childbirth method in antepartum period, and were given regular observation and nursing. Mastering of natural childbirth knowledge, pain intensity, childbirth time, mode of delivery and amount of bleeding post- childbirth 2h were observed in the two groups. Results The observation group mastered more natural birth knowledge than the control group, childbirth pain was obviously reduced, natural birth rate was higher than the control group, the first and second labor time was shorter than the control group, the amount of bleeding was obviously less than the control group 2 hours post childbirth. Conclusions Pregnant women need Lamaze childbirth method training before childbirth and instruction of maternity nurses. These may relieve pain, shorten childbirth time and reduce amount of bleeding post childbirth by application of Lamaze childbirth method.

Objective:To explore inhibition of telomerase activity and malignant phenotype on breast cancer cells MCF7 by Dominant Negative human telomerase reverase transcriptase gene(DN-hTERT).Methods:DN-hTERT eukaryotic expression vector DN-hTERT-IRES2-EGFP and empty vector(I) IRES2-EGFP were transfected into MCF7 by lipofectamine2000,after being selected by G418,positive clones were obtained;Tthe transfected cells growth was observed with inverted fluorescence microscope.The expression levels of hTERT mRNA of transfected cells were determined by reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR).Telomerase activity of transfected cells was measured by TRAP-ELISE.Results:The proliferation of MCF7/DN cells were inhibited by DN-hTERT transtection;The expression levels of hTERT mRNA increased in MCF7/DN.Telomeric length was shorter in MCF7/DN than that in MCF7/I.The telomerase activity measured by TRAP-ELISE was 2.36?0.12 in MCF7/DN and was 3.32?0.14 in vacant vector MCF7/I.The telomerase activity in MCF7/DN was significantly lower than in vacant vector transfected MCF7/I(P

The effects of DHAA-urea,a novel dehydroabietylamine(DHAA) derivatives,on cell viability and glucose metabolism,in hypoxia and normoxia human hepatoma HepG2 cells were investigated.Hypoxia cells were achieved using DMEM containing high concentration of glucose without serum and pre-incubating of CoCl_2 (final concentration 150 μmol/L) for 24 h.The antiproliferation effect of DHAA-urea was measured by colorimetric MTT assay.The cellular ATP concentration,the lactate dehydrogenase(LDH) and glucose-6-phosphate dehydro genase (G6PD) activity were detected by their kits.It was shown that DHAA-urea markedly inhibited cell viability,cellular ATP level,LDH and G6PD activity in either aerobic or anaerobic circumstance in a dose-and time dependent manner.This suggested that DHAA-urea possibly inhibited HepG2 cells growth via the inhibition of glucolysis and glucolysis-dependent ATP depletion.DHAA-urea could be a promising candidate in the development of a novel class of agents used for human hepatocellular carcinoma.

OBJECTIVEThis investigation aimed at explore the total distribution of neuropeptide Y-like immunoreactive (NPY-LI) fibers and their changes post-trauma in rat temporomandibular joints (TMJs).

METHODSSix groups of rats were killed individually before trauma, 1, 3, 7, 14 and 28 days after trauma. TMJs were extracted totally, and the avidin-biotin-peroxidase complex method and image analysis were employed to detect NPY-LI fibers in frozen sections of TMJs.

RESULTSNPY-LI fibers were distributed extensively in TMJs, except the central disc band and bone, and they were mainly located around blood vessels, especially arteries. The densities of fibers in the six groups were 160.4 +/- 27.5, 95.8 +/- 16.4, 88.6 +/- 14.5, 114.3 +/- 17.0, 135.0 +/- 20.7, 158.6 +/- 19.5 (unit:mm2).

CONCLUSIONNPY-LI nerve fibers are distributed extensively in the periphery of blood vessels of TMJs and densities changed dynamically when TMJs were impacted. NPY may play an important role in pathologic change of TMJ by regulating local blood circulation.

Objective To explore the clinical effect of corticosteroids combined with Chinese medicine sequential therapy of Guishao Dihuang pill and Yupingfeng granules on children nephrotic syndrome (NS) with yin deficiency of liver and kidney.Methods Fifty patients (the loss of children during the course of treatment were not included in the statistical analysis) with definitely diagnosed NS accompanied by yin deficiency of the liver and kidney admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Gannan Medical University from January 2012 to June 2016 were enrolled,and they were divided into control group and observation group by random number table,25 cases in each group.Conventional treatment of western medicine and long-term treatment of corticosteroids were given to the two groups.In addition,sequential therapy of Guishao Dihuang pills and Yupingfeng granules was given to the observation group on the bases of conventional treatment.The changes of platelet aggregation rate (PAT),cholesterol,cortisol,T cell subsets CD3,CD4,CD4/CD8 were observed before and after treatment for 8 weeks and 6 months,then the clinical efficacy and infection,etc.complications were compared between the two groups.Results There were no statistical significant differences in cholesterol,cortisol and curative effect compared between the two groups before treatment and after treatment for 8 weeks and 6 months (all P ＞ 0.05).Mter treatment for 8 weeks and 6 months,the PAT,cholesterol,cortisol of two groups were significantly decreased compared with those before treatment,while CD3,CD4 were obviously higher than those before treatment,and the degrees of changes of PAT,CD3,CD4 in the observation group were more remarkable than those of the control group [PAT:treatment after 8 weeks was (63.01 ± 6.99)％ vs.(66.62 ± 4.65)％,treatment after 6 months was (51.42 ± 7.74)％ vs.(57.01 ± 6.77)％,CD3:treatment after 8 weeks was 0.56 ± 0.06 vs.0.52± 0.06,treatment after 6 months was 0.61 ± 0.05 vs.0.58 ± 0.03,CD4:treatment after 8 weeks was 0.33 ± 0.06 vs.0.30 ± 0.05,treatment after 6 months was 0.39 ± 0.05 vs.0.33 ± 0.06,all P ＜ 0.05].CD4/CD8 ratio was significantly higher in observation group after treatment for 8 weeks and 6 months than those before therapy (1.68 ± 0.76,1.82 ± 0.95 vs.1.16 ± 0.67,both P ＜ 0.05);the number of patients with infection in observation group was obviously lower than that of the control group (86 cases vs.175 cases,P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions The therapeutic effect of corticosteroids combined with Chinese medicine sequential therapy of Guishao Dihuang pills and Yupingfeng granules for treatment of children NS with yin deficiency of the liver and kidney is better than that of using western medicine therapy alone,as the combined sequential therapy has good effects on reduction of infection,anti-thrombosis and elevation of immunity.
