2.Effects of purslane herb on stress ability of aging mice induced by D-galactose
Journal of Integrative Medicine 2004;2(5):361-3
OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effects of purslane herb aquenous extracts (PHAS) on the stress ability of aging mice induced by D-galactose. METHODS: We observed the survival time to hypoxia and heat survival rate of the mice treated with different doses of PHAS and vitamin E. The contents of lipofuscin and malondialdehyde (MDA), and the activity of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and catalase (CAT) in the brain and liver of the mice were tested. RESULTS: As compared with vitamin E, three doses of PHAS (1.6, 0.8 and 0.4 ml/d) prolonged the survival time to hypoxia and the pole climbing time and increased the heat survival rate, and the 0.8 ml/d PHAS had the best effect. In the group of 0.8 ml/d PHAS, the activity of SOD and CAT decreased less, and the contents of lipofuscin and MDA decreased significantly. The effect of vitamin E was not as good as the PHAS. CONCLUSION: PHAS can prevent the stress ability of the aging mice. One of its mechanisms may be increasing the activity of SOD and CAT, hence decreasing the damage of the oxidation products to the body.
3.Effect of PTTG on the growth and fluorouracil sensitivity of cholangiocarcinoma cell Line QBC939
Chinese Journal of General Surgery 2001;0(08):-
Objective To investigate the effct of PTTG gene on the growth and sensitivity to 5-FU of cholangiocarcinoma cell. Methods The pcDNA3.1-PTTGas that contained full-length antisense PTTG,and pcDNA3.1(+) was transfected into the cholangiocarcinoma cell line QBC939.We successfully established and identified cell sublines tQBC939(PTTG-),tQBC939(pcDNA3.1).Cell growth curve was mapped out, cell proliferation rate was assessed by MTT assay and cell cycle percentage was counted by flow cytometry. After treatment with 5-FU,cell survival rate was assessed by MTT assay and IC50 was calculated.Flow cytometry and Hoechst staining were used to demonstrate discrepancy of cell apoptosis rates. Results Compared with other two groups,tQBC939(PTTG-) grew more rapidly and had a higher proportion of cells in S phase, whereas less cells in G2/M phase(P
4.Analysis of higher vocational nursing students participating in opening professional social practice
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2013;29(32):13-15
Objective To analyze the significance of higher vocational nursing students participating in opening professional social practice, and to explore the effective way of combining social practice with professional learning and clinical practice. Methods After completing the opening professional social practice in summer, the reflection diaries of 30 nursing students were analyzed and the concerns were refined.Questionnaire survey about self assessment of comprehensive effect of the practice of nursing students were conducted. Results Nursing operation and soft skills were mostly concerned by nursing students' in opening professional social practice.Vocational learning, occupation of responsibility, and the occupation ability were improved by practical activities. Conclusions Nursing students who participate in opening professional social practice before clinical work, can re-understand the professional learning, adapt and integrate themselves into clinical practice through the perception of clinical nursing work.
6.IMMUNOHISTOCHEMICAL STUDY OF A- AND B-CELLS OF RATS' PANCREATIC ISLETS DURING EXPERIMENTAL PEPTIC ULCER
Acta Anatomica Sinica 1953;0(01):-
Forty rats were selected for the experiment, which were divided into three groups including experimental ulcer group, normal saline and normal control groups. The pancreatic tissue were prepared for immunohistochemical staining at 6th, 10th, 14th, and 21st day after operation. Sternberger's PAP method was used to show the glucagon cell (A cell) and insulin cell (B cell) in order to observe their changes during the experimental peptic ulcer. In normal control group, the percentage of A cells is 23.31?1.91 (X?SD) and that of B cells is 73.1?4.01. But in experimental ulcer group, the A cell percentage is raised up to 42.6?5.59 and the B cell percentage is lowered down to 57.5?4.55 on the 10th day after operation. Comparing with normal saline group and normal group their differences show statistical outstanding differences. The result may point out that both A and B cells of pancreatic islet take part in the body's natural resistance against the disease, especially A cells.
7.Clinical study of breast-preserving surgery in breast cancer
International Journal of Surgery 2008;35(9):601-604
Objective To study the clinical effects of breast-preserving surgery in early-stage breast cancer. Methods From March 2002 to March 2007, 27 cases of early-stage breast cancer were treated with breast-preser-ving surgery. The control group had 28 cases, treated with radical mastectomy. Survival rate and recurrence rate were observed. Results The short-term progress of breast-preserving surgery in early-stage breast cancer had no significant difference with that of radical mastectomy. Plastic effects of breast were satisfied. Conclusion Breast- preserving surgery in early-stage breast cancer had favorable effects both in progress and in plastic. Therefore, it is warranted for wide use.

Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 1992;0(12):-
Cases of nasopharyngeal carcinoma receiving radiotherapy were treated by Sisheng Decoction which yielded marked antagonistic actions against the decrease of WBC and platelets.Thus,97.4% of the cases were able to successfully receive the whole course of radiotherapy.Animal experiment showed that the ac-tions of the Decoction was realized by regulating thecontents of ?—endorphine in the blood.
9.Clinical curative effects of internal sphincterotomy in the posterior midline and lateral position in treatment of patients with chronic anal fissure
Clinical Medicine of China 2015;(3):266-268
Objective To investigate the curative effects of partial internal sphincterotomy in the posterior midline and lateral position in treatment of chronic anal fissure. Methods One hundred and fifty cases chronic anal fissure patients with stageⅡ or Ⅲ were randomly divided into observation group(80 cases)and control group(70 cases),who were hospitalized in the Shunyi District Hospital of Beijing from Dec. 2009 to Oct. 2012. The patients of two group were treatment by internal sphincterotomy either in the posterior midline or lateral position respectively. The efficacy, healing time, complications and recurrence of the two groups were recorded and compared. Results There were 76 cases with cure,6 cases with improvement and 2 with ineffective effect in the observer group. There were 49 cases with cure,12 cased with improvement and 9 cases with ineffective effect in control group. The difference of the efficacy was statistically significant( P =0. 025). Wound healing time of observation group and control group were(9. 9 ± 0. 8)d and(17. 1 ± 0. 9)d,and the difference was significant( P =0. 048 ). The incidence of anal exudates in observer group was lower than the control group(2. 5%(2/80)vs. 24. 3%(17/70);P=0. 032). The incidence of recurrence in observer group was 5. 0%(4/80),lower than the control group(24. 3%(17/70),P=0. 046). The degree of the postoperative pain, voiding dysfunction and wound edema in observer group were lower than the other group( P =0. 025, 0. 025,0. 049). Conclusion The effect of internal sphincterotomy in the lateral position in treatment of chronic anal fissure is better with quickly repair, fewer complications.

Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 2012;28(3):172-175
Objective To explore the extent of information needs and influencing factors among breast cancer patients. Methods Choose patients by random with a questionnaire for malignant breast cancer patients(Chinese edition),and analyze the influencing factors in a multiple linear regression. Results The total extent of information needs among the patients is 65.615±20.854,with much stronger needs among those with younger age, higher income and/or suitable for surgery. Conclusion Information needs of the patients were found to depend on their various social attributes.Based on this founding, recommendations were made in terms of contents of information needs, care for vulnerable groups, and channels of information communication.
