OBJECTIVE:To strengthen the inspection for qualification of new drugs when introduced in order to guarantee the quality of new drugs and the safety of drug use.METHODS:The problems existing in the inspection for qualification of new drugs were exemplified and classified.RESULTS&CONCLUSION:There existed the problems in the respect of validity,authenticity,effectiveness,and integrality.The good maintainance of the database of SFDA plays a important role in in-specting the new drugs when introduced,while on the other hand such issues as establishment and use of credibility file in medical agencies are worth discussing.

OBJECTIVE:To facilitate the in-depth implementation of Prescription Administrative Policy("New Method" in short).METHODS:The change of the Prescription Administrative Policy and its problems were analyzed through comparison between the "New Method" and the trial edition.RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS:Improvements of Prescription Administrative Policy such as the introduction of prescription comment system,clarifying supervising subjects and strengthening requirement on prescription dispensing rights etc play a role in tightening comprehensive management on prescriptions and promoting rational drug use.However,the defects of Prescription Administrative Policy such as the absence of the regulations unsuitable for medical orders in retail pharmacy and endemic areas and the unidentified prescription forms need to be improved step by step in the practice.

Objective To evaluate the clinical curative effect and methods of external carotid artery perfusion treatment plus radiotherapy for nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). Methods Twenty two patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma diagnosed by nasopharyngoscopy, CT, MRI were treated by interventional chemotheraphy with riamycin(or epi-adriamycin), 5-fluorouracil and cisplatin (or carboplatin) and followed by radiotherapy. Background and purpose:Epirubicin is one of the fi rst line chemotherapy drugs in the treatment of breast cancer, and liposome doxorubicin is a new antitumor drug that has been reported to have less cardiotoxicity and myelosuppression compared to free doxorubicin. Dentritic cells (DC) play important roles in tumor immunity. Our experiment investigated the impacts of epirubicin and liposome doxorubicin on different human breast cancer cell lines and dentritic cells, and evaluated their roles in the treatment of breast cancer. Methods:Human breast cancer cell lines, Bcap37 and MDA-MB-231, along with human dentritic cells isolated and induced into maturation, were cultured with epirubicin and liposome adriamycin at different concentrations (0, 0.25, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 4.0, 10.0 ?g/ml), respectively. The inhibitory effects were detected by MTT method after 24, 48, 72 h. Results:Epirubicin and liposome adriamycin could inhibit the proliferation of Bcap37 cells, MDA-MB-231 cells, and human dentritic cells. Liposome adriamycin exhibited a lighter inhibition on dentritic cells than on human breast cancer cell lines (Bcap37 and MDA- MB-231) (F=22.208, P

This paper explained the sources of Fu-Zhe ng cancer therapy through the analy-sis of its history in order to provide a reference to deepen the theoretical studies in the diagnosis and treat-ment of cancer in the future .

Objective To investigate the clinical value of the YSZ-1 uterine manipulator in total laparoscopic hysterectomy.Methods Total laparoscopic hysterectomy was employed in a total of 78 women by using the LigaSure,ultrasonic scalpel,and the YSZ-1 uterine manipulator.The anterior fornix was opened and the manipulator was placed on the lip of the cervix.Then the uterus was completely removed.Results The operation was completed smoothly in all the 78 patients.The operating time was 45~90 min(mean,63 min),and the intraoperative blood loss was 40~100 ml(mean,65 ml).No urinary tract injuries,vaginal bleeding,or other postoperative complications occurred.The length of postoperative hospital stay was 4~7 d(mean,5.3 d).Follow-up examinations in the 78 patients for 3~6 months(mean,4 months) showed that the vaginal wound normally healed up. Conclusions Use of the YSZ-1 uterine manipulator in total laparoscopic hysterectomy makes the procedure easier and safer.The YSZ-1 uterine manipulator is a useful laparoscopic instrument.
