Objective To study the effects of three therapies on shoulder pains after gynecological laparoscopies. Methods After the gynecological laparoscopies,180 patients were randomly assigned to hot compress group(n=57),oxygen therapy group (n=65)and routine care group as control group(n=58).All the patients in the three groups were given oxygen inhalation for three hours.Besides, those controls were given mental care, comfort support and massage, while those in the two experiment groups were managed with hot compress on the shoulder and oxygen inhalation via nasal tube at 2 L/min each for 2 hours at 8 am and 4 pm on the first day.The three groups were compared in terms of shoulder pains,at different time points on the first day(at 8 am,4 pm and 8 pm). Results After intervention, there were significant differences between the three groups in terms of shoulder pains(P<0?05).In both experiment groups, the scores on the shoulder pains after intervention were significantly lower than those before intervention(P<0?001). Conclusions Hot compress and oxygen treatment are both effective in relief of the shoulder pain after gynecological laparoscopy. Therefore, the therapy can be decided on economic conditions and postoperative rehabilitations.

We retrospectively analyzed the etiology of 26 new-onset pituitary neoplasms, which were diagnosed at outpatient department of internal medicine over the last 2 years. Our results showed that most patients visited doctors for hypertension, diabetes, obesity, and menstrual cycle disorder. In addition, gynecomastia, visual field defect, and headache could also be the primary condition. This study indicates that it should be critical to raise awareness of diverse clinical manifestation of pituitary neoplasm.

Objective KIF18A is a protein that has close relation with mitotic regulation and tumor development. This study aimed to establish KIF18A protein expression system in baculovirus, which may help to realize high efficient synthesis of KIF1 8A protein in vitro. Methods Transfer vector was constructed with molecular cloning method, and recombinant baculovirus were obtained through gene transposition.KIF18A protein was expressed by transforming recombinant baculovirus into infected insect Sf-9 cells to realize the synthesis efficiency. Results It was confirmed by DNA sequencing, microscopic observation and Western Blot that the KIF18A protein expression system in baculovirus was successfully established. Conclusions Conditions for transfer vector and recombinant virus transfection are defined, and high efficient KIF18A protein baculovirus expression system are successfully constructed.

Objective To evaluate the impact of vagal denervation (VD) that is derived from circumferential ablation of pulmonary vein ostium for paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (AF) on the therapeutic results. Methods A total of 50 patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation were enrolled in this study. Circumferential ablation of pulmonary vein ostium was carried out in all the patients. The end point of ablation was pulmonary vein electricity isolation. The patients in whom VD occurred during the performance of ablation were regarded as VD- positive group (n = 19), and the remaining patients were used as VD- negative group (n = 31). The recurrence rate of AF six months after the treatment was recorded, and the results were compared between the two groups. Results The end point of ablation was successfully achieved in all the fifty cases. Six months after the ablation, the therapeutic effect of VD- positive group was significantly better than that of VD- negative group (84.21% vs 64.51%, P ≤ 0.05). Conclusion The vagal denervation effect that is derived from circumferential ablation of pulmonary vein ostium in treating AF can significantly increase the success rate of radiofrequency ablation for AF.

Objective: To analyze the effect of different treating factors on cure depths of light curing composite resin, and discuss the relationship between different treating factors and cure depths. Methods:192 samples were designed with factorial experiment. The whole samples were scanned by Planmeca ProMax panoramic X-ray unit and cure depths were measured. The data was statistically analyzed by SPSS 11.5 software package for t test and stepwise regression analysis. Results:There were significant differences among different light curing units, irradiation distances and cure time(P

Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2011;10(2):207-210
It is very necessary to apply case-teaching method to Emergency Medicine in Universities of TCM. To establish the case-teaching system,we ourselves have written teaching materials, trained teachers, and designed all sorts of the medical records. Moreover, we have deployed other methods and principles to put this teaching into practice, used clinical skill practising as a essential supplement of teaching effect. Comparing with the traditional teaching method, it is clear that case-teaching method could make students' learning initiative and positivity improved significantly, their test scores promoted obviously. Thus, carrying out case-teaching method in Emergency Medicine could advance students capability of acquisition of knowledge and their clinical thinking .

Objective:To observe the bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell isolation, identification methods and protection mechanisms in the kidney of diabetic rats. Methods: Thirty-one rats were used to isolate bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) by adherent culture method.Cell morphology was observed by phase contrast microscope. The surface molecular weight of cultured cells was detected by Real-time PCR.30 rats were induced by intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin to establish diabetic rat model (n=15).And stem cell treatment group (n=15) according to the different treatment methods.Rats in the control group were treated with insulin combined with probucol.Stem cell treatment group was implanted with stem cells. Before and after treatment, fasting blood glucose,24 h urinary protein excretion, creatinine clearance rate and kidney weight were measured.PAS staining. And the renal tissue was detected by Western blot. Results: The primary bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) were cultured for 24 hours, and the cells were irregularly distributed in the culture flask. After 7 days of culture, the cells were regular, elongated, elliptical, and strong refraction, and the cells were fused with each other. The morphology of BMSCs was uniform and showed a long fusiform shape,CD44,CD31 and CD34 were observed by RT-PCR.The levels of fasting blood glucose,24 h urine protein excretion and creatinine clearance rate in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05).The results of PAS staining showed that the glomerular structure was clear, the morphology was regular, the arrangement rules of glomerular cells, the basement membrane and the encapsulation of the glomerular membrane were significantly higher than those of the control group Man′s capsule clear (P<0.05).In the control group, the glomerular volume increased, the mesangial area widened and the stroma increased significantly. The Bcl-2 protein level and the Bax and Caspase-3 protein levels were significantly decreased in the stem cell treatment group. The levels of Bcl-2 and Bax and Caspase-3 protein in the control group were significantly decreased (P<0.05).The ROS,MDA and SOD levels in oxidative stress group were lower than those in control group (P<0.05).The difference of ROS,MDA and SOD between the two groups was not statistically(P>0.05).Conclusion: It is suggested that BMSCs can be isolated from rat bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells by using adherent culture method and labeled with green fluorescent protein in vitro.Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells can protect the kidney and inhibit the oxidative stress of diabetic kidney.
