1.Research progress of microRNA in the transformation from myelodysplastic syndromes into acute leukemia
Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2014;23(9):569-572
microRNA (miRNA) is a kind of 18 to 25 nucleotide non coding RNAs,which plays an important role in various ways. The abnormal miRNA expression patterns lead to many diseases of hematopoietic system.Myelodysplasitc syndromes (MDS) comprise a heterogeneous group of disorders characterized by ineffective hematopoiesis, bone marrow dysplasia and variable propensity of transformation to acute myeloid leukemia (AML).20 %-30 % MDS patients may progress to AML.miRNA plays a key role in the develpoment, advance and prognosis of MDS.In this paper, the related miRNAs in the transformation from MDS into AML were reviewed.
2.The common causes of premature delivery and the analysis of tocolytic effect
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2009;16(9):1565-1566
Objective To investigate the eomman causes of premature delivery, the tocolytic effect and suc-cess ratio and the birth situation of premature infants. Methods 150 pregnant women with natural delivery or iatro-genie preterm labor from 28 weeks to 34 weeks who carried out tocolytic therapy because of threatened preterm labor or premature delivery after tocolytic therapy were selected. The common inducement of premature delivery, the pro-longed gestational weeks, the success ratio of tocolyis and the birth situation of premature infants were retrospectively analyzed. Results The premature rupture of membranes(PROM) ,the spontaneous uterine contraction and iatrogenic preterm labor were the main reasons of premature labor. The primiparas are the majority. The iatrogenic partus pre-maturus were prolonged, the asphyxia rate of premature infants was still high. The incidence of premature rupture of fe-tal menbranes in pregnant with tocolytic therapy beyond 1 week was 3. 3% ,and the incidence of spontaneous urerine contraction was 4. 8%. Conclusion Antenatal care and prenatal diagnosis are important to decrease the premature labor ratio as early as possible to use the D. X. M to promote the fetal lung maturity, so as not to delay the treatment.
3.Correlation between food intolerance and colon mucosal mast cells and substance P in 27 patients with diarrhea predominant irritable bowel syndrome
Chinese Journal of Digestion 2016;36(2):91-95
Objective To investigate the significance and possible mechanism of food intolerance in diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome (IBS-D).Methods Twenty-seven IBS-D patients matched the Rome Ⅲ criteria were selected as IBS-D group.Twenty-seven healthy individuals without gastrointestinal symptoms were assigned to control group.Food intolerance situation of two groups were analyzed with food intolerance status evaluation questionnaire, and detection of 14 food specific IgG antibody. The severity of IBS symptoms of IBS-D group were scored by IBS-symptom severity scale (SSS).Two pieces of mucosal tissues of both ileocecal junction and sigmoid colon were obtained under colonoscopy. The content of mucosal substance P (SP) was determined by immunohistochemistry. The quantity of mast cells were detected by Giemsa staining.Chi square test and Fisher exact probability method were performed for rate comparison between two groups.Measurement data were compared with t test and Mann-Whitney rank sum test. The correlation between IBS-SSS score and mast cells and the expression of SP positive cells were analyzed by Spearman rank correlation analysis. Results There was no statistically significant difference in positive rates of food specific IgG between two groups (x2 =3.085,P=0.389),however according to food intolerance status evaluation questionnaire, the incidence of food intolerance of IBS-D group was 44.4 % (12/27) which was higher than that of control group (14.8 %,4/ 27),the difference was statistically (x2 =5.684,P=0.017).Food intolerance severity index of IBS-D group (median:0(0,60)) was higher than that of control group (median:0(0,0)),and the difference was statistically significant (U=239.50,P =0.007).In foods that may cause intolerance, the percentage of foods rich in fermentable oligosaccharides and monosaccharides, disaccharides and polyol (FODMAP) such as milk, noodles, soybeans was up to 71.4% (30/42).The expression tates of SP positive cells in the mucosa of ileocecal junction and sigmoid colon of patients with IBS-D were higher than those of the control group (x2-20.735 and 22.071,both P<0.01).The numbers of mast cell in the mucosa of ileocecal junction and sigmoid colonic of patients with IBS D (2.40 ± 1.04/high power field (HPF) and 2.35±1.11/HPF) were more than those of the control group (0.97 ± 0.70/HPF and 0.89 ± 0.72/HPF),and the difference was statistically significant (t=-5.850 and-5.629,both P<0.01).The severity of bowel symptom of patients with IBS-D was moderately correlated with the number of mast cells in the mucosa of sigmoid colon (r=0.576,P=0.002),and was moderately correlated with the expression of SP positive cells (r=0.691,P<0.01).Conclusions There may be relation ship among low-grade inflammation of intestinal mucosa, food intolerance and severity of intestinal symptoms in patients with IBS-D.

Objective To discuss the similarities and differences of clinical manifestation and pathological characteristics in hepatitis B virus related membranous nephropathy (HBV-MN) between children and adult. Methods Ninety cases with HBV-MN were divided into two groups according to the age:children group (33 cases) and adult group (57 cases). A retrospective control study was carried out to analyze the clinical and pathological features of the two groups. Results The incidence of anemia in children group was 45.45% ( 15/33 ), which was significantly higher than that in adult group [15.79% (9/57)](P < 0.01). Nephrotic syndrome was the largest proportion in two groups, but there was no significant difference in the composition of clinical manifestations between two groups (P >0.05). Membranous nephropathy Ⅱ was common in pathological stage in two groups. The incidence of membranous nephropathy Ⅱ in children group was 63.64% (21/33),which was significantly higher than that in adult group [42.11%(24/57)] (P < 0.05 );immunohistochemistry showed "all bright", and the deposition of HBcAg in renal biopsy was also higher than that in adult group (P < 0.05). Conclusion There are some similarities and differences in HBV-MN between children and adult patients, and these will help to improve the levels of diagnosis and treatment.
