1.Expression Levels and Its Influencing Risk Factors of Serum Vitamin D in Type 2 Diabetes Patients
Journal of China Medical University 2017;46(1):68-71,74
Objective To evaluate the serum 25?hydroxyvitamin D3[25(OH)D3]level in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients and explore its rela?tionship with energy metabolism. Methods A total of 254 type 2 diabetes mellitus patients from Liaoning Province admitted to the Endocrinology Department of our hospital from June 2014 to June 2015 were enrolled into this study. The serum 25(OH)D3 levels of the patients were measured , and the subjects were divided into different groups as follow:the measurement time of 25(OH)D3 from January to May and December was group A,June to November was group B. The parameters of 25(OH)D3,hemoglobin A1C,fasting plasma glucose and other metabolic indicators were compared between the two groups. In addition ,the two groups were divided into four subgroups abased on the level of serum 25(OH)D3:≥30 ng/mL in subgroups A1 and B1,20?<30 ng/mL in subgroups A2 and B2,10?<20 ng/mL in subgroups A3 and B3,and<10 ng/mL in subgroups A4 and B4. The metabolic indexes of different subgroups were compared. Results Serum 25(OH)D3 in group B was higher than that in group A (P<0.001). In subgroup A3,hemoglobin A1c was lower than that in subgroup A4(P=0.043). Groups A and B and each subgroup had no statis?tical significance in serum calcium(P>0.05). Conclusion The level of serum vitamin D has a prevalently decrease in type 2 diabetes mellitus in Liaoning Province, especially in winter and spring. These patients would benefit from supplement vitamin D and outdoor exercise. Vitamin D de?ficiency in patients with type 2 diabetes is associated with blood sugar. Serum calcium can not be used as an indicator of vitamin D.
2.Study of breast cancer susceptibility gene 1(BRCA1) in common hematologic diseases
Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2010;19(3):182-184
Breast cancer susceptibility gene 1 (BRCA1) is a tumor suppressor gene, whose encoded proteins play an important role in cell-cycle regulation, DNA damage repair, induction of apoptosis in damaged cells and the maintenance of genomic stability. Some foreign studies reported the down-regulation of BRCA1 expression in initial treatment leukaemia, and this result may have clinical implications for surveillance of therapy and prognosis .In this review, the construction features, biological characteristics of BRCA1 and the expression of BRCA1 in lenkaemia and lymphoma were covered.
3.Comparing and analysis of the early-onset and late-onset neonatal sepsis
Clinical Medicine of China 2013;29(12):1336-1339
Objective To analyse the pathway of infection, risk factors, clinical characteristics and pathogenic bacteria distribution of neonatal sepsis. Methods Eighty-eight neonatal with sepsis were enrooled from January 2006 to December 2011 in the First Affiliated Hospital of Lanzhou University.According to disease stage, they were divided into early-onset sepsis group and late-onset sepsis groups. Results Respiratory infections in two groups was the majority (44.7% vs.46.0%),and there was no significant difference (P =0.906).That premature birth, low birth weight infant, amniotic fluid pollution and asphyxia were risk factors for early-onset sepsis. The most common clinical characteristics in early-onset sepsis were eating less milk(57.9%,22/38) and had fever of the late-onset sepsis(42.0%,21/50).Forty-one cases were with positive blood culture and the rate was 46.6% (41/88),the blood culture specimens were mainly Gram-positive bacteria in two group (75.0% (15/20),90.4% (19/21)).The most common pathogenic bacteria were Staphylococcus aureus and Coagulase-negative staphylococci. Conclusion Premature birth, low birth weight, meconium, asphyxia are risk factors of early onset neonatal sepsis.Early-onset sepsis often shows poor feeding, and late-onset sepsis in children prone to be fever. The common pathogenic germ of early-onset and late-onset sepsis are Grampositivebacteria,Staphylococcus aureus and coagulase-negative staphylococci common. As for neonate with highrisk factors, clinical features of early pathologic examination should be performed in order to further clarify the diagnosis and taking clinical therapy.
4.Bibliometric Analysis of Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma based on SCI database(1999-2012)
Journal of NasoPharyngeal Carcinoma 2015;2(3):1-15
Objective: To understand the development of nasopharyngeal carcinoma researches in worldwide, and to study the development feasibility of professional journal on nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Methods: The literatures on nasopharyngeal carcinoma were systematically retrieved from databases of SCI (Science Citation Index) from 1999 to 2012, and the data of publishing time, journal title, article type, language, research area, first author, correspondence author, district, and fund, etc were collected and bibliometricly analyzed. Results: An increasing trend of paper publication was detected, corresponding with linear and exponential growth pattern. Journal distribution was accordance with Brad Ford’s law; the literatures of nasopharyngeal carcinoma were assembling and parting distribution. The first author distribution conformed to Lotka’s law; whereas, the correspondence author distribution did not. Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan occupied an important position in respect of first author, correspondence author and fund. Conclusion: Nasopharyngeal carcinoma study needs professional journals bearing a larger number of scientific research achievements, and journals run in China, where the Nasopharyngeal carcinoma incidences was reported the highest in the world, may promote the development of this subject.
5.Autophagy and obesity
Chinese Journal of Diabetes 2015;(4):372-374
[Summary] Autophagy is an intracellular degradation process by which the damaged organelles and macromolecules are lysosomal dependently degraded by auto‐phagocyte under the control of autophagy‐related genes. The autophagy level in hypothalamus and adipose tissue changes in obese individuals.Autophagy participates in the regulation of food intake and energy balance ,and associates with adipocyte differentiation and adipogenesis. More and more attention has been paid to the relationship between autophagy and obesity w hich may guide the new research direction of pathogenesis study and therapy of obesity.

Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 2013;29(12):885-887
Western developed countries have already made multi-site physician practice a mainstream in their physicians'regulatory system, which remains however at the beginning stage in China during the ongoing health reform since 2009.This article justified the significance of this practice, then analyzed its main roadblocks encountered in China, and in the end proposed countermeasures in terms of better awareness, better policy support and practicality of the practice.

8.Single cell RNA sequencing technology applicated for drug discovery
Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2023;58(9):2551-2559
Single cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) is an advanced technology to study the transcriptome information at the single cell level. The application of this technology can attribute to analyze the heterogeneous map of cells in the process of disease development, and precisely identify the specific cell subsets that are responsive to pharmacological therapy. Currently, scRNA-seq technology has been widely applied in the field of drug research, including studies on therapeutic targets, drug-induced adverse reactions, drug resistance and vaccine. This work reviews the application of scRNA-seq technology in drug discovery, which offers a scientific basis for personalized and accurate medication therapy.
