China Pharmacist 2016;19(5):836-838
Objective:To study the protective effect and possible mechanism of salvianolic acid B in GK rats complicated with macroangiopathy. Methods:Totally 32 GK rats were randomly divided into four groups:the model group and low, middle and high dose salvianolic acid B groups(40,80 and 160 mg·kg - 1 ),and 8 Wistar rats were used as the normal group. All of GK rats were giv-en high-glucose and high-fat diet. After 16 weeks,GK rats were orally administrated with 10 mg·kg - 1 ·d - 1 N-ω-nitro-L-arginine methyl ester for 8 weeks. At the beginning and the end of the experiment, blood glucose and blood pressure were measured, abdominal aortic blood was collected after anesthesia, thoracic aorta was used to make paraffin sections after bloodletting to observe vasculopathy and the expression of VEGF was detected by Western-blot. Results:The blood glucose was increased in all GK rats with no statistical significance between the drug group and the model group(P > 0. 05). At the end of the experiment, the blood pressure was significant-ly increased in GK rats, indicating that salvianolic acid B could notably reduce the blood pressure in GK rats in a dose-dependent man-ner with statistical significance(P < 0. 05);and it could also remarkably reduce the total white blood cell count and differential blood count, and ameliorate the lesion extent and reduce VEGF expression. Conclusion:Salvianolic acid B has protective effects on aorta in GK rats, and its mechanism may be related with blood pressure lowering,anti-inflammation and reduction of VEGF expression.

3.Effects of Traditional Chinese Medicine Ruanganyin on TGF-1/Smad Signaling Pathway in Carbon Tetrachloride-induced Hepatic Fibrosis of Rats
Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2006;0(02):-
[Aim]To study the effects of Ruanganyin on TGF-1,Smad3,Smad7 expressions of the experimental hepatic fibrosis induced by carbon tetrachloride (CCl4) in rats, and to explore its anti-fibrotic molecular mechanism.[Method] Forty healthy Wistar rats were randomly divided into normal control group, vacant control group,CCl4-induced hepatic fibrosis group, and Ruanganyin treated group. The rats in normal group were treated with normal saline by intragastrical irrigation, and the other groups were subcutaneous injected with CCl4 to establish hepatic fibrosis model. The histological changes of the liver tissues were examined by pathological examination. The protein expression of transforming growth factor beta 1 (TGF-1) and Smad3,Smad7 were measured by immunohistochemical technique.[Result] In comparison with those inmodel group, the levels of TGF-1 were significantly decreased after treatment with Ruanganyin.Meanwhile, the levels of Smad3 was also down-regulated.However,the level of Smad7 expression was significantly up-regulated.The pathological changes of liver tissues in Ruanganyin groups were also markedly alleviated.[Conclusion] Ruanganyin has significant inhibitory effects on CCl4-induced hepatic fibrosis in rats, and its mechanism may be associated with the inhibition of TGF-1 expression,down-regulation of Smad3 expression and up-regulation of Smad7 expression.
4.Efficacy of targeted monitoring and bundle intervention measures on surgi-cal site infection following total abdominal hysterectomy
Chinese Journal of Infection Control 2016;15(12):949-951,955
Objective To investigate the incidence of surgical site infection(SSI)and compliance to bundle inter-vention measures on SSI following total abdominal hysterectomy in patients in department of gynaecology of a tertia-ry first-lass hospital, and evaluate the efficacy of bundle intervention measures in prevention and control of SSI. Methods From March 2014 to October 2015,all gynecology patients undergoing total abdominal hysterectomy were as targeted monitored subjects,March-September 2014 was baseline investigation stage,October 2014 to Oc-tober 2015 was intervention stage(new bundle intervention measures were performed),compliance to bundle inter-vention measures and incidence of SSI before and after intervention were compared. Results A total of 222 episodes of total abdominal hysterectomy were monitored, the incidence of SSI was 5 .86% ,the operation P75 time were 2 hours. Compared with the baseline stage, the compliance to most traditional intervention measures improved after intervention, the largest increase in the compliance to interventions was follow-up after surgery (increased by 64.16% ),followed by preoperative perineal disinfection(increased by 39.07% )and hand hygiene(increased by 21 .34% ). Compliance to new intervention measures was 100.00% . Incidence of SSI following total abdominal hys-terectomy after intervention was significantly lower than before intervention(2.27% [3/132]vs 11.11% [10/90]), difference was significant (χ2= 7.583,P<0.05).Conclusion Targeted monitoring on SSI following total abdomi-nal hysterectomy can improve compliance to bundle intervention measures and decrease incidence of SSI.
5.The expression of COX-2, VEGF, MMP-2 and P-glucoprotein in carcinoma of stomach and its significance
Journal of Chinese Physician 2009;11(7):917-918
Objective To investigate the expression of COX-2, VEGF, MMP-2 and P-g]ycoprotein in carcinoma of stomach and its significance. Method The expressions of COX-2, VEGF and P-glycoprotein inside and beside the tumor tissues of 57 cases carcinoma of stomach were detected with immunohistochemistry method. Result The expressions of COX-2, VEGF, MMP-2 and P-glyeoprotein inside the tumor tissues were significantly higher than that beside the tumor(χ2 = 5.29,5.37,5.62,4.87 ; P < 0.05). The expressions of COX-2, VEGF and MMP-2 were different among different carcinoma metastasis (χ2 = 5.97, 6.17,6.09 ; P < 0.05). P-glucoprotein expressions were positive correlated with gastric cancer(rs' = 0.674,0.65,0.67 ; P < 0.05). Conclusion COX-2, VGEF, MMP-2 and P-glyeopretein were some correlated and overexpressed in stomach carcinoma, which may take part in the genesis, development and multi-drug resistance of this cancer.
