Objective:To improve the work of drug quality sampling and testing. Methods:The regulation of testing related work in Drug Quality Sampling and Testing Regulation was analyzed and discussed. Results and Conclusion: Some suggestions were pro-vided in order to improve the regulation of testing work in Drug Quality Sampling and Testing Regulation.
2.Update on the side effects of antithyroid drugs

Antithyroid drugs(ATD)is the main treatment for hyperthyroidism and its adverse reactions have been much concerned by physicians. Methimazole(MMI)and propylthiouracil(PTU)are the two common antitithyroid drugs used currently. Generally, the ATD are safe and effective, though their clinical adverse reactions are also relatively common. The toxic effects include liver damage and leukocytopenia, antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody-associated pulmonary small-vessel vasculitis, hypoglycemia, allergic reactions, muscle impairment,and so on. They are usually reversible and disappear spontaneously when the drug is discontinued. However,the serious rare side effects can also occur and there may have potentially deadly threatening effects which need to be cautious for the clinicians. MMI is usually preferred over PTU because it has significantly fewer side effects. And unlike the dose-dependent side effects of MMI, there has no significant correlation between adverse reaction and drug dosage in using PTU. Moreover, PTU has more severe hepatotoxity than MMI, even fatal liver impairment and liver failure. The risk of liver damage from PTU is an important concern, particularly in children. For this reason, MMI is the first choice for treating children with hyperthyroidism.
3.Early identification and treatment of parathyroid carcinoma

Parathyroid carcinoma is a rare endocrine tumor.Clinical manifestations are varied with multiple organs involved,mainly due to hypercalcemia.So far the etiology and pathogenesis of parathyroid carcinoma are still unclear and preoperatively diagnosis is difficult.Technetium-99 m sestamibi scan and ultrasound can help to find the early lesions.Complete surgical resection with suspicious involved lymph nodes is the recommended treatment.Parathyroid carcinoma is insensitive to chemotherapy and radiotherapy.New immune therapy yields unsure efficacy.Therapeutic effect and prognosis mainly depend on primary surgical resection of the tumor.The disease recurs in more than 50% of patients with poor prognosis.
7.Primary study on the association of expression between SIRT1 and FOXO1 in B cells of islet in rat.

Objective To explore the association of expression between the longevity gene SIRT1 and the forkhead transcription factor FOXO1 in the beta cell of islet in rat,and provide the basic prevention and cure rationale for the type 2 diabetes mellitus.Methods Eleven male SD rats of 18 months old were randomized into two groups:6 in calorie restriction(CR)group and 5 in the control group.After 6 months' breeding,the caudal end of islet was collected.The expression and location of SIRT1,FOXO1 and insulin were detected by immunohistochemistry;sections of pancreas were stained for senescence-associated ?-galactosidase(SA-?-Gal)to identify cell senescence of pancreatic islets.Results SIRT1 and FOXO1 were expressed in both the kytoplasm and nucleus,while insulin and ?-Gal were located in the kytoplasm.Compared with the control group rats,there was higher SIRT1 expression(P0.05)expression was detected in the beta cells of CR group rats.The lower positive rate of FOXO1 located in the nucleus the higher expression of SIRT1 in the rat beta cell of islet.Conclusion Calorie restriction could induce the high expression of SIRT1 in the rat beta cell of islet,and we think SIRT1 may delay the senescence process of rat beta cell through the repression of transcription factor FOXO1;it's beneficial to the prevention and cure for type 2 diabetes mellitus.
8.Effects of Different Collecting Time in One Day on the Quality of Safflower Crude Drug

Objective To provide the basis for determining the suitable collecting time of safflower. Methods To measure the contents of saflor yellow-A in safflower crude drug from different collecting time in one day by HPLC. Results Only saflor yellow-A has big change. By experimental analyzing samples of different year and region, A bright time collecting in the flok, the content of saflor yellow-A in medicine assured higher. Conclusion A bright time collecting has some scientific basis.
9.Determination of Baicalein in Tangtai Capsule by HPLC

Objective A HPLC method to determine the content of Baicalein in Tangtai capsule was established. Method The separation was performed by Zorbax C18 column with acetonitrile and 0.5% phosphorice acid. The elution program was 1~15 min, 15%~60% acetonitrile. The flow rate was 1 mL/min and column temperature was 25 ℃. Content was detected at a wavelength of 280 nm. Result The linear range was 0.936~18.72 ?g, regression:Y =4849.53X-0.9593 (r=0.9999). The average recovery rate was 98.29% and RSD was 0.97% (n =5). Conclusion The method is simple, accurate and reproductive, and can be used for determining Baicalein in Tangtai capsule.
10.Application of spiral computerized tomographic angiography in microsurgery of separating craniopagus twins

Objective To evaluate the role of 3 D spiral computerized tomographic angiography (SCTA) in microsurgery of separating craniopagus twins Methods A case of craniopagus twins underwent spiral CTA Image reconstruction was made by shaded surface display Result SCTA demonstrated osseous fusion in twins skull Parts of bone and dura mater were found to be absent in the fused area Two parts of brain tissues were linked together, and some area were fused Twins' one third of posterior superior sagittal sinuses were fused and converged into a common sinus One side of their transverse sinuses were fused Conclusion SCTA can clearlly reveal the abnormalities of skull, cerebrum, intracranial blood vessels, especially the stereostruction between intracranial blood vessels and skull SCTA is useful for intraoperative bone design and decision of surgical route and has important value in formulating surgical plans
