Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2014;31(5):1139-1143
Sudden cardiac arrest is one of the critical clinical syndromes in emergency situations. A cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a necessary curing means for those patients with sudden cardiac arrest. In order to simulate effectively the hemodynamic effects of human under AEI-CPR, which is active compression-decompression CPR coupled with enhanced external counter-pulsation and inspiratory impedance threshold valve, and research physiological parameters of each part of lower limbs in more detail, a CPR simulation model established by Babbs was refined. The part of lower limbs was divided into iliac, thigh and calf, which had 15 physiological parameters. Then, these 15 physiological parameters based on genetic algorithm were optimized, and ideal simulation results were obtained finally.

2.Research on neuroprotective effects of mesenchymaI stem ceIIs in retinaI disease
International Eye Science 2015;(3):464-466
· Mesenchymal stem cells ( MSCs ) are a population of multipotent stem cells with various neurotrophins from bone marrow which are widely used in tissue, cell repair and alternative research.Recently, some researches have shown that MSCs could enhance the viability of neurons under a pathological circumstance by secreting some neurotrophins. So the neuroprotection of MSCs can provide a new method of the treatment on retinopathy that it possible to promote cells survial and functional recovery. Here we make a brief review on the secretory function of neurotrophin and neuroprotective effects of MSCs on retinal cells and its application in the treatment of retinal disease.

Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2016;36(5):463-466
OBJECTIVETo evaluate the clinical efficacy of warming-needle moxibustion on cervical headache.
METHODSSixty-one patients of cervical headache were randomly divided into a warming-needle moxibustion group (30 cases) and an acupuncture group (31 cases). Tianzhu (BL 10), Fengchi (GB 20), Wangu (GB 12), Tianyou (TE 16), Hegu (LI 4), Taichong (LR 3) and Zulinqi (GB 41) were selected in the two groups. Patients in the acupuncture group were treated with acupuncture; patients in the warming-needle moxibustion group were treated with warming-needle moxibustion at Tianzhu (BL 10), Fengchi (GB 20) and Wangu (GB 12) and acupuncture at the remaining acupoints. The treatment was given once every other day, 3 times a week, and totally 4-week treatment was given. The duration and frequency of headache, numerical rating scale (NRS) of headache and cervical range of motion (ROM) were compared before and after treatment in the two groups; also the efficacy of the two groups was evaluated.
RESULTSAfter treatment, the duration and frequency of headache, headache NRS.and cervical ROM score were improved in both groups (all P < 0.05), which were more significant in the warming-needle moxibustion group (all P < 0.05). The total effective rate was 84.3% (25/30) in the warming-needle moxibustion group, which was significantly superior to 61.3% (19/31) in the acupuncture group (P < 0.05).
CONCLUSIONThe warming-needle moxibustion presents significant efficacy on cervical headache, which can obviously improve headache symptoms and cervical ROM.

5.Differentiation and analysis on YAN Ming-guang and XU Feng's Najia fa (day-prescription of acupoints).
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2014;34(1):89-91
The traditional Najiafa (day-prescription of acupoints) can be classified into two schools of YAN Ming-guang and XU Feng. The author studied the YAN Ming-guang and XU Feng Najia fa from the aspects of the academic source, selection of points, existing researches and current application. When compared between the two schools, it is held that Najia fa of YAN Ming-guang school more accords with the law of point selection according to Ziwu Liuzhu Zhenfa (acupuncture based on the midnight-noon and ebb-flow doctrine) in following the original doctrine, selection of points on the base of day-prescription, and time-meridian relation of Sanjiao (triple energizer) and Pericardium meridians. Therefore, it is concluded that the YAN's Najia fa should not be neglected and forgotten. Its inheritage and further study should be carried out so as to enrich the ways of study as well as the prevention and treating methods in clinic.

9.GENETIC VARIATION BETWEEN MAONAN AND MULAO ETHNIC GROUPS OF CHINA BY STR
Acta Anatomica Sinica 2002;0(06):-
Objective To investigate the 6 short tandem repeats(D2S1338,D8S1179,D16S539,D18S51,D19S433,D21S11) polymorphism in Maonan and Mulao minority and their genetic relationships with other 5 minorities in Guangxi Province and to enrich the genetic database of Maonan and Mulao populations. Methods The allelic frequencies and the genotype of six STR loci were generated from 383 unrelated Maonan and Mulao individuals by PCR_STR and ABI3100. Results Sixty_one and 65 STR alleles were found in the six STR loci of Maonan and Mulao populations, with their frequencies ranging from 0.002 5-0.320 0 and 0.002 7-0.284 2 respectively. Two hundred and sixteen and 218 genotypes were found in Maonan and Mulao populations, with their frequencies ranging from 0.005 0-0.150 0 and 0.005 5-0.158 5 respectively.Their average heterozygosities were above 0.8;polymorphism information content were above 0.8 their accumulative discrimination power were over 0.999 999 98,and the probability of paternity exclusion were over 0.998 3.The results of genetic distance and phylogenetic tree showed that there were closest genetic relationship between Maonan and Mulao minorities, and farthest genetic relationship was existed between Shui and Yi minorities.Seven minorities were clustered to 2 groups on phylogenetic tree.Yi minority was clustered to one group, whereas the other 6 minorities(Maonan,Mulao,Hui,Miao,Shu and Jing nationalities) were clustered to the other group. Conclusion Six STR loci of Maonan and Mulao minorities possesse the characteristic of high genetic diversities which has great practical value. Therefore, the obtained data can be used in human population genetics investigation, individual indentification and paternity test. The genetic variation of STR among 7 populations is basically consistent with their historical culture and geographic distribution.
10.EXPRESSION PROFILES OF NUCLEAR STRUCTURE AND BIOGENESIS-RELATED GENES DURING RAT LIVER REGENERATION
Acta Anatomica Sinica 1955;0(03):-
Objective To study the expression changes and profiles of nuclear structure and biogenesis-related genes in rat liver regeneration(LR). Methods Genes involved in nuclear structure and biogenesis were obtained by data collection and literature review. The gene expression changes during LR were checked by Rat Genome 230 2.0 array, and LR-related genes were identified by comparing gene expression difference between partial hepatectomy(PH) and sham operation(SO) groups. Results 406 genes were found to be LR-related.The numbers of initially and totally expressed genes occurring in the forepart(0.5-4 hours after PH) of LR,the prophase(6-12 hours after PH),the metaphase(12-66 hours after PH),and the anaphase(72-168 hours after PH) were 200,29,179,5 and 374,290,1?876,603,respectively.The numbers of their up-regulation and down-regulation were 1?224 and 496 times. The elevated transcription levels occur red to the nuclear organization and biogenesis-involved genes in the prophase and the metaphase of LR and to the nuclear membrane, nuclear matrix and nucleoplasm-involved genes in the metaphase;nuclear chromosome, nucleolus and nuclear functional protein complex-involved genes were up-regulated in the metaphase and the anaphase. Conclusion The expression of nuclear structure and biogenesis-related genes was active during LR,and it was tightly related with LR.
