3.Expression of hypoxia-inducible factor 1 alpha, vascular endothelial growth factor and angiopoie-tin-2 in tissues of condyloma acuminatum in pregnant women
Chinese Journal of Dermatology 2009;42(5):324-326
Objective To investigate the expression and significance of hypoxia-inducible factor 1 alpha (HIF- 1α), vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and angiopoietin-2 (Ang-2) in tissues of condy- loma acuminatum (CA) in pregnant women. Methods Tissue specimens were obtained from the lesions of 30 pregnant women with CA and 30 non-pregnant women with CA, and from the vulva of 15 normal preg- nant women. By immunohistochemical staining, the expressions of HIF -1α, VEGF and Ang-2 were detected in these specimens. Results The expression rates of HIF -1α,VEGF and Ang-2 were 86.67%, 93.33% and 83.33% in pregnant women with CA, respectively, 63.33%, 66.67% and 53.33% in non-pregnant women with CA, respectively, and 0, 6.67% and 0 in normal women, respectively. Enhanced expressions of HIF -1α,VEGF and Ang-2 were observed in pregnant women with CA compared with the latter two groups (P < 0.05). In pregnant women with CA, a significant correlation was noted between the expression of HIF -1α and VEGF (r = 0.412, P < 0.01) and between the expression of Ang-2 and VEGF (r = 0.460, P < 0.01). Further more, the expression of HIF -1α, VEGF and Ang-2 positively correlated with each other in non-preg- nant women with CA. Conclusion In tissues of CA in pregnant women, HIF-1α,Ang-2 and VEGF are over expressed, which may be related to angiogenesis.

6.A curative efficacy study of functional training focusing on muscle group around shoulder for subacromial impingement syndrome
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Medicine 2017;32(5):543-547
Objective:To study the curative efficacy of functional training focusing on muscle group around shoulder for subacromial impingement syndrome.Method:Forty five patients with subacromial impingement syndrome (SIS) were randomly grouped into three groups (fifteen patients for each group).Patients in Group Ⅰ were trained only on muscles around scapula.Patients in Group Ⅱ were treated on rotator cuff muscles. While patients in Group Ⅲ were treated on both. The training goes every 2 days and last for 4 weeks. The indexes for evaluating curative efficacy included:the Neer-test,the Hawkins-test and the Peen Shoulder Score. These indexes were measured immediately and three months after the four week treatment.Result:After treatment of the functional training focusing on muscle group around shoulder,Neer-tests and Hawkins-tests of all of patients were changed from positive to negative, the degree of pain compared with pain before the treatment declined apparently(P<0.01),at the same time, the degree of satisfaction and the function went up remarkablely(P<0.01).Compared with group Ⅰ and group Ⅱ,it dropped the most notably on the degree of pain in the group Ⅲ(P<0.01),however,the degree of satisfaction and the function rose most apparently (P<0.01) Conclusion:The curative efficacy of functional training focusing on muscle group around shoulder for sub-acromial impingement syndrome was effective apparently. But the efficacy of treated focusing on both muscles around scapula and rotator cuff was the most remarkably.
7.Propofol exposure in early pregnancy impairs learning and memory increases histone deacetylase in the offspring rats
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2017;30(8):804-807
Objective Propofol exposure during pregnancy impairs learning and memory of the offspring rats, but its definite mechanisms are not yet clear. This study is to assess the impact of propofol exposure during early pregnancy on the learning, memory, and the expression of histone deacetylase 2 (HDAC2) in the hippocampus of the offspring rats. Methods Twenty Sprague-Dawley rats at gestation days 5-7, weighing 270-320 g, were equally randomized into a propofol exposure and a saline control group. The offspring rats of the former group were again divided into a propofol SAHA (n=50) and a propofol DMSO group (n=47), and those of the latter into a control SAHA (n=48) and a control DMSO group (n=45).On postnatal day 30, the offspring rats were subjected to the Morris water maze (MWM) test at 2 hours after intraperitoneally injected with the HDAC inhibitor subcroylanilide hydroxamic acid (SAHA) at 90 mg/kg and equal volume of dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), respectively. Then all the animals were sacrificed and the hippocampal tissue harvested for determination of the expression of the HDAC2 protein by immunofluorescence staining. Results On the 5th and 6th days of the MWM test, the escape latency was significantly prolonged in the propofol DMSO group ([65.93±30.42] and [50.72±24.72] s) as compared with the control DMSO ([29.32±16.38] and [21.34±13.79] s) and the propofol SAHA group ([42.52±20.43] and [24.28±13.41] s) (P<0.05), while the platform-crossing frequency was markedly lower in the former than in the latter two groups (P<0.05).The expression of the HDAC2 protein remarkalby up-regulated in the propofol DMSO group (1.37±0.03) in comparison with the control DMSO (1.00±0.02) and the control SAHA group (0.99±0.03) (P<0.05).Conclusion Propofol exposure in early pregnancy impairs learning and memory of the offspring rats, which is associated with the up-regulated expression of the HDAC2 protein in the hippocampus.
