Objective To study in clinic the potential antifatigue effect of red-light irradiation onto the soldiers exhausted by a high intensity of exercise with detection of myocardial enzymes, coagulation indices and other blood routines before and after the bio-light therapy. Methods 200 soldiers selected were assigned averagely and randomly into two groups, test group and control group, with 100 for each group. All the volunteers underwent a strong intensity and exhaustion exercise. Then the red-light irradiation of 30J/cm2?30 min once a day performed 2 weeks was given to the soldiers in test group, and the soldiers in control group received similar treatment except that daylight lamp was employed instead of red-light irradiation. The blood samples were then collected from all the volunteers before the exercise and 7d and 14d after the exercise for detecting and comparing the indexes of aspartate transaminase (AST), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), creatine kinase (CK), creatine kinase MB isoforms (CK-MB), Hydroxybutyric dehydrogenase (HBDH), white blood cell (WBC), hemoglobin (HB), red blood count (RBC), platelet (PLT), prothrombin time (PT), activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT), plasma fibrinogen (FIB), thrombin time (TT) and calcium (Ca2+). Results The findings showed an obvious increase in the indices of HB, RBC and Ca2+ of the soldiers in the test group, the indices were significantly higher than that of the soldiers in the control group. However, no significant difference was found between the two groups in such indices as AST, ADH, CK, CK-MB, HBDH, WBC, PLT, PT, APTT, FIB and TT. Conclusion As one of the harmless biotherapies, red light irradiation is conveniently and easily applied for restoring the exhausted soldiers to their normal physical ability. Without side-effects, the red light irradiation may improve the antifatigue and endurance capacity after an individual underwent a strong intensity and exhaustion exercise. It′s valuable and acceptable for enhancement of soldiers′ combat capabilities.

The CNKI database was searched using the keywords premature ovarian failure and acupuncture. Ninety-eight related articles published from 2006 to 2015 were retrieved and 17 with randomized controlled trials were sifted out. The recent 10 years' research situation of the mechanism of acupuncture treatment for premature ovarian failure was systematically summarized through literature review and collation. A retrospective summary was made from five aspects: improvement in ovarian endocrine function, acceleration of ovulation, effect on immunologic system, improvement in ovarian reserve function and regulation of ovarian microenvironment. It is put forward on this basis that future studies on the mechanism of acupuncture treatment for premature ovarian failure can be further into higher gene and protein levels; and no matter what kind of acupuncture manipulation is used, arrival of qi is necessary; only arrival of qi can produce an effect.

Objective To evaluate effects of human papilloma virus(HPV)16E7 on expressions of six tumor suppressor genes(including MT1G, NMES1, RRAD, SFRP1, SPARC and TFPI2)in a cell line SiHa, as well as on its proliferation and apoptosis. Methods SiHa cells were divided into two groups to be transfected with a small interfering RNA targeting HPV16E7(E7SiRNA, experimental group)and an empty vehicle(negative control group) respectively, with SiHa cells receiving no treatment serving as the blank control group. After 48 hours, qPCR was performed to measure the mRNA expressions of E7 and six tumor suppressor genes, CCK?8 assay to evaluate cellular proliferative activity, and flow cytometry to assess apoptosis of SiHa cells. Results At 48 hours after the transfection, the experimental group showed significantly decreased E7 mRNA expression(0.25 ± 0.036, P<0.05), but increased mRNA expressions of the six genes(MT1G 1.403 ± 0.190, NMES1 1.720 ± 0.060, RRAD 1.390 ± 0.160, SFRP1 1.493 ± 0.120, SPARC 2.157 ± 0.144, TFPI2 2.060 ± 0.122, all P < 0.05). The proliferative activity of SiHa cells was significantly decreased(0.554 ± 0.130 vs. 1.028 ± 0.236 and 1.220 ± 0.126, both P<0.05), but the apoptosis rate was significantly increased(9.222%vs. 0.246%and 0.123%, both P<0.05)in the experimental group compared with the negative control group and blank control group. No significant differences were observed between the negative control group and blank control group in proliferative activity or apoptosis rate of SiHa cells(both P>0.05). Conclusion E7 may participate in HPV16?induced cellular malignant transformation by suppressing the mRNA expressions of 6 tumor suppressor genes, including MT1G, NMES1, RRAD, SFRP1, SPAR and TFPI2.

Objective To analyze the effect of acromio-humeral interval on the occurrence of subacromial impingement syndrome (SIS) after the clinical application of clavicular hook plate in acromioclavicular joint dislocation (Tossy Ⅲ). Methods From July 2005 to October 2008, 63 cases of acromioclavicular joint dislocation (Tossy Ⅲ) were treated with clavicular hook plate. There were 48 males and 15 females with an average age of 33.6 years (range, 21-53 years). The relationship of the acromio-humeral interval (AHI)were analysed between the two groups by X-ray measurement. The AHI and plate-humeral interval (PHI)were measured on X-ray film to detect difference between the two groups. Results After the operation, all t he 63 cases were divided into two groups according the occurrence of SIS. There were 14 cases in the group of SIS and 49 cases in the group without SIS. The mean follow-up was 12.2 (average, 6-15) months. The average AHI of was (8.5±2.1) mm and (9.7±2.6) mm in the group of SIS and the group without SIS respectively. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant. The average PHI of the group of SIS and the group without SIS was (6.1±2.8) mm and (6.8±2.4) mm respectively. There was no difference between the two groups. After removal of the clavicular hook plate, the clinical sign disappeared in the group of SIS. According the Karlsson scoring system, the excellent and good rate of the shoulder function was 100%. Conclusion The occurrence of SIS after the clinical application of clavicular hook plate has related to the width of the subacromial interval. The syndrome could be treated by the removal of clavicular hook plate.
