The aim of this study was to obtain the alginate gels which could have proper compressive strength and excellent permeability for cell proliferation and could have more promising potentials in the application of tissue engineering. Through the reaction of the carboxyl of the alginate and the amino of methacrylic acid, methylacrylic was generated into alginate long chain which could be enhanced by the polymerization of double bond under thermal reaction condition. And then alginate gel beads were prepared using the mixture of calcium chloride and barium chloride solution as cationic crosslinker, and the compressive modulus and permeability of the prepared alginate gel beads were investigated. When the ratio of barium ions to calcium ions was 5:5, the compression modulus was 189.7 kPa, and it showed the best permeability for trypsin with molecular weight of 24 kDa and entrapment effect for bovine serum albumin with molecular weight of 67 kDa. Compared to compositions of other ratios, the alginate gel beads made in 5:5 mixture indicated excellent compressive modulus and permeability. These results indicated that the alginate hydrogel beads with the ratio of barium ions to calcium ions being 5:5 have a potential application in tissue engineering as a support material and encapsulating materials in cell culture.

The goal of medical education is to train good doctors.Only by understanding the trend of medical education development,call medical schools effectively promote educational reform and improve the quality of medical education.In this paper,we analyze the trend of course plans,teaching content,teaching strategies and the evaluation mode of the domestic and international medical education reform and development,introduce the ideas and practices in reform of management system,training pattern,course plans and assessment methods based on the education platform of"mutual promotion of teaching and research,mutual integration of medicine and humanities and simultaneous improvement of knowledge and ability"in Chongqing Medical University.

Objective To investigate the relationships between septic shock and vascular endothelial cells (VECs)injury by measuring the plasma CEC,vWF,and NO in septic shock patients and to explore its potential clinical values. Methods 72 patients were divided into group A including 34 infection patients but without septic shock,and group B including 38 patients with septic shock. Circulating endothelial cell(CEC),von willebrand factor(vWF),and nitric oxide(NO)in plasma were measured in all patients at the time points of accessing ICU (T0)and 24 hours after staying in ICU(T1). And the blood pressures of studied patients were also recorded at the same time points. Results The levels of CEC and vWF at each observing time point were higher in group B than those in group A(P < 0.01),while the levels of NO were lower in group B than those in group A(P < 0.01). In group B,the levels of CEC and vWF at T1 were higher than those at T0(P<0.01),while the level of NO was low-er at T1 than that at T0(P<0.01). With contrary to those of group A,circulation conditions of group B were obvi-ously unstable and high doses of vasoactive agents were needed during the therapy period. MAP in group B at each time point was obviously lower than that in group A(P<0.05). There were 7 dead cases(18%)in group B but no death in group A during the whole therapy period. Conclusion Obvious injury of vascular endothelial cells exists in septic shock patients and the injury degree is related to the severity of the disease.

Funds management,which has a direct effect on the development of scientific research projects,is an important part of the scientific research management in hospitals.By investigating the present situation of the scientific research funds management in a local hospital in Shanghai,this paper analyzes the problems commonly found in the scientific research funds management.Based on the findings of the analysis,this paper proposes some corresponding recommendations and countermeasures to improve the management.

Objective To study the attentional deployment strategy of emotion regulation and its processing mechanisms in alexithymia.Methods 21 alexithymia subjects and 22 normal subjects completed attentional deployment task.The reaction time(RT) and accuracy were recorded automatically and the event-related potentials (ERPs) were recorded by neuroscan system.Results ①From the behavioral results,the differences of RT and accuracy to neutral pictures ((1840.17±204.44) ms vs (1845.17±252.97) ms;(0.859±0.073) vs (0.884±0.068)) and negative pictures ((1888.94±200.09) ms vs(1890.38±263.72) ms);(0.845±0.088) vs (0.845±0.091)) in calculation task between two groups were not statistically significant(all P＞0.05).The differences of RT and accuracy in emotion task were not statistically significant(P＞0.05).②In RT and accuracy,the task main effects were statistically significant(F(1,42) =637.40,P＜0.01;F(1,42)=15.00,P＜0.01),the emotion main effects were statistically significant (F(1,42)=30.23,P＜0.001;F(i,42)=47.87,P＜0.01),the interaction effects of task and emotion were statistically significant(F(2,41) =5.20,P＜0.05;F(2,41)=6.01,P＜0.05).③The differences between two groups in P3 amplitude induced by neutral pictures and negative pictures in calculation task were not statistically significant(P＞0.05).P3 amplitude induced by negative pictures were siguificantly greater than those induced by neutral pictures in emotion task((-0.138±0.463) μV vs (0.789±0.541) μV).Conclusion The attentional deployment can effectively regulate the negative pictures processing and occur in the late stage of the picture processing.No attentional deployment defects in alexithymia.

Objective To analyze Professor Wu Weiping's medication rules on treating the onset of bronchial asthma based on data mining.Methods The patients'records and prescriptions of Professor Wu Weiping on treating the onset of bronchial asthma were collected and collated,and the frequency and regularity of drug combinations were researched by using the association rules of TCM inheritance support system to analyze the medication experience of Professor Wu Weiping.Results By analyzing the 249 prescriptions of 61 patients,drug properties of the prescription:cold (45.6％),warm (42.6％),bitter(37.9％),pungent (27.5％).Channel tropism:lung,spleen,liver,stomach.The top 10 herbal medicine are Qingbanxia,Chaihu,Fangfeng,Huangqin,Mahuang,Wuweizi,Wumei,Qianhu,Chishao,Kuxingren.The top 3 treatment principle is reducing phlegm,expelling wind evil and regulating qi.Xiaochaihu decoction and Guomin decoction were showed in the article.Conclusions Data dining could help to discover the rules of Professor Wu Weiping's treatment of the onset of bronchial asthma.The cold and warm drugs,acrid and bitter drugs were used together frequently,while the drugs belonging to the lung,spleen,liver and stomach meridians were used commonly.The evil of phlegm,qi and wind were paid attention to eliminate pathogen.

Objective: To evaluate the value of cerebrospinal fluid markers expecially total-tau protein (T-tau), phosphorylated-tau protein (P-tau) in diagnosis and differentiation of sporadic Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (sCJD). Methods: sCJD (according to 2009 Brain criteria, 2018 Neurology amended criteria), Alzheimer's disease (AD; the National Institute on Aging at National Institutes of Health and the Alzheimer's Association revised guidelines 2011 criteria) and other patients without cognitive impairment, matched for sex and age, in the Department of Neurology, Peking Union Medical College Hospital from 2018 to 2019 were enrolled. Twelve sCJD patients, 49 AD patients and 14 normal controls were enrolled. Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) specimens were collected through gravity dropping directly, and further stored in -80 ℃ and disposed according to widely used standards. The levels of T-tau and P-tau were measured by ELISA. The data on electroencephalogram and neuroimaging findings of sCJD patients were recorded. Moreover, specimens of sCJD patients were sent to the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention to test 14-3-3 protein and PRNP genotype. Results: Using Mann-Whitney U test, T-tau concentrations were found higher in patients with sCJD (1 211(448, 2 227) pg/ml) than in AD patients (549(314, 1 078) pg/ml; U=178, P=0.034 9), and both groups had higher T-tau than the control group (127(79, 192) pg/ml; U=20, 73, P<0.01). The level of P-tau was significantly increased in AD patients (72(58,109) pg/ml) compared to the control group (27(15, 42) pg/ml; U=82, P<0.01), but not in sCJD patients (32(24, 47) pg/ml). The T-tau/P-tau ratio was higher in sCJD patients (29.77(20.01, 54.53)) than in AD patients (7.45(4.79, 10.43); U=87, P<0.01). Twelve sCJD patients had cotical hyperintensity on diffusion weighted imaging and five had periodic three-phase waves on electroencephalogram. Nine sCJD patients, whose CSF samples were tested in the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, carried an M/M genotype at codon 129 and E/E at codon 219. Conclusion The CSF tau level and T-tau/P-tau ratio are significantly increased in sCJD, which may promote the diagnosis and differentiation of sCJD in routine clinical setting.
